Prior to this service visit, most of my service was performed by the dealer. When they relocated, I opted to try somewhere more local to me. This was my first visit to this Firestone location and I must say, what a wonderful discovery. Made an appointment that they were very good at getting my car in close to the scheduled time. My service advisor was nothing short of fantastic. They did what I asked them to do and then recommended a few things without any pressure or pushing me to get it done. They (my service advisor: Sharbel/Manny Manassa) suggested a tire rotation and when I agreed, he added it to the work order as a complementary service item. He also suggested that they pull the air filter and if need be, replace it. They explained the pricing up front. When the tech looked at it, it was clean and so they did not replace it. These may seem as minor points but they were proof-positive that there is meaning behind the sign that hangs in the service area noting that they are committed to honorable service to the customer. They advertise it and demonstrate that they are serious about it. And, they do it making the customer feel important and of value. The whole experience was extremely positive. I strongly recommend this place for any service needs. I told them that this was my first visit there and for what it was worth, I am a new repeat customer.

Sharbel and Julie are the greatest, most polite and knowledgable employees that I have ever met! They will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied and extremely hard working as well. Sharbel even pulled my car around when it was finished because I had my 5 month old son and he didn’t want me walking in the rain searching for my car. Julie is also very understanding in any situation and will always offer the best most cost efficient solution to help you out. I have been coming to this location for a while now and I will never stop, I love my team!!! (I hope they are able to read this lol)

I stopped in for an oil change for my Scion TC on Tuesday. The technician named John pointed out my tires were extremely worn and they’d need to be replaced ASAP (for safety). I told him I had noticed it driving a little bit “differently” in the rain but I had some hurricane repairs being done on my home so money is extremely tight right now. He and the service writer told me about an upcoming sale that started Thursday and quoted me a price that was a really great deal on 4 new Firestone Firehawks. I came back on Friday and they had my tires changed faster than I could finish my lunch at Chili’s across the parking lot. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. John was clean-cut, very knowledgeable, and I found out later he is a Toyota guy himself (he has an awesome Turbo Supra). 10/10 would recommend service here to friends/family.

Took car to this location as a last ditch attempt to fix long standing A/C problem that the Cadillac dealer could not fix. Julie listened to my description of the problem and assigned to Donald. Donald located the problem and fixed in short order for a price that was well below what I was expecting based on my experience with the dealer. Great place to have you car worked on.

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this shop over nearly 20 years. I have referred 3 of my brothers, their families and my adult children to this shop. The service was quite good in the past. The service quality has tanked in recent years. Recently, they misdiagnosed an A/C problem with my BMW. They charged a fee for NOT fixing the problem. $128 for Freon which did not even come close to fixing the issue. After realizing the mistake, they did not offer to refund the fee or make it right. I took the car elsewhere where it was repaired. Today, my daughter arrived for an appointment to have 4 new tires installed prior to going on maternity leave. After confirming with the shop, they still managed to goof up and not have the tires when she arrived. This was her day to "get things done" before a C-section. Oh, and they had her car record listed under her aunt's name. This mishap has been going on for years. I have rotated 15+/- cars through that shop over the years. They still get my cars mixed in with the records of my brothers, sisters-in-law, and nieces. Oddly enough, the repair work is usually fine. The problems seem to mostly stem from poor management and communication in the front reception area. Even my A/C issue may have been due to a miscommunication from the person who received my car and spoke with me. I learned that he did not tell the tech the nature of the problem I was experiencing. After nearly 20 years of faith, trust and recommendations, I'm done. This is sad and totally preventable.

I had an appointment for a 9:00 oil change. They said the brake lights were not functional and recommended a diagnostic, and also recommended a brake flush. They did not tell me the brake part had to be brought from another location. I declined the brake flush as the extra expense of the brake switch already exceeded my expectations. An hour later, I asked if my car was close to being done. I was told they were waiting on the part to arrive. I sat in the waiting room to stay visible and hopefully get done in a reasonable amount of time. Julie and Jessica spoke to me several times during my wait...I assumed the guys were working on my car. THREE HOURS LATER, I asked about the progress on my car and Julie ran out to the bay and a guy ran out to my car and put the part on in 5 minutes. They had forgotten! I was there from 8:55 until nearly 1PM and I had an appointment for an oil change. Then I got the bill and was charged $109 for brake flush. The bill was over $300! I reminded them that I had declined the brake flush and was told, "That's Mary Beth the brake flush queen; she isn't happy unless everyone gets it. She probably just told them to do it". I didn't want it, I didn't authorize it, and I didn't want to be charged for it. By the way, this is called FRAUD, Mary Beth. This was completely unacceptable and though I did not make a scene in the store because they were packed, I will not be treated this way, especially by 3 WOMEN! Addendum: I called to get Mary Beth's name and Julie immediately refunded the charge for the brake flush. I let her know that just because I've been a loyal patron for 15 years they cannot take advantage of me and it be accepted.

I filled out the survey with high recommendations. At the end of the survey it stated because of my answers they wanted to know why I was not satisfied. Just wanted to state that I was very satisfied. Customer service was great, the tech was great. They had my car done in a timely manner.

Repair rates are exorbitant Ok for inspection, minor tire repair or alignment. Please check other auto repair centers including dealership. Rate I was charged for a simple hose repair was 150.00 higher than dealer. Buyer beware. This one will not be returning

I started going to the Firestone, on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, years ago because it was close to my house. Over the years, they continued to be, not only convenient, but also helpful in repairs and in explaining everything my car needed. Paul, the manager, even managed to help me in an out of town emergency when I called by providing me with information about my car that was stored in the computer system at the Raleigh Firestone Store, but inaccessible to the one where I stopped out of town. Yesterday, when I took my car in, Ben coordinated all the repairs, explanations, and communications regarding my vehicle and I thanked him for doing a great job!

Tonight I went to move my car and the battery was clearly dead. My neighbor gave my battery a jump and suggested my 2009 battery probably needed replacing. It was 5:30. I called the Arboretum store, they said if I could get their by 6, it would be no problem. I arrived at 6:10 (rush hour)! They were extremely busy, but when I got to the front of the line, the very friendly receptionist asked "battery change?" and got me right in. The tech came out and let me know my inspection was due 1.5 months ago . . . ugh . . . but said he could do it. So grateful, much rather hear it from him with a smile and not being pulled over and getting a ticket! They were quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

I called last night because my car was making a horrible sound. They got me in first thing this morning and made sure I had a safe vehicle to drive. I have never had anything but first rate service from the employees at this store. The honesty and integrity of the management is unquestionable. The service is above and beyond and they always do first rate work. I would never take my car anywhere else!

The location is convenient, thought the parking lot is in a busy shopping center - so it's always crowded and spaces are small, leading to dings/scratches on your doors. Besides that this is one of the 3 firestone locations I trust in Charlotte (the others being in Stallings and the other off Park Road). I have purchased 3 sets of tires for 2 cars here, and 1 set from the Rea Road location - I had trouble at Rea Road, and have never had issues at the Providence location. I have the lifetime alignment, rotation, and balancing on both mine and my wife's car - it's the best deal. Purchasing the tires here you get an honest estimate for time, they work the best deal that they can find for the best tire - not the cheapest - and have never been late delivering (it's taken a long time, but they never said it should be a few minutes - they said it would be a long time - honesty is more important to me here.) My brakes were replaced here - and started squealing 2 months later. The Ballantine store said that's normal, Providence replaced all the pads, re-surfaced my rotors, rotated/balanced/aligned my tires - total cost = $0.00, but more importantly I have not had issues since.

I have been using Firestone for over four years now. Up till now I have been satisfied with there service. I took my car in because I was having trouble sometimes it would start and other times it would not. I told them I thought it was the battery as it was old. They charged me 99.00 for a check and decided it was the battery and they talked me into a lifetime alignment 414.00 later. When they installed the new battery they disconnected my radio they told me no problem bring it back we will fix the problem after keeping my car overnight they inform me that they don't work on radios so I need to take it back to Best Buy. Needless to say I feel that it is there responsibility since they disconnected it. Good customer service would have said take it to Best Buy and if there is a charge we will take care of it.

I had lost track of my oil change schedule and was heading out for a Christmas trip to NJ the next morning. I stopped by the store as I was in the area to have my oil checked and found out I was overdue for an oil change. They took me in and completed the service within 1 hour. I went on my trip without worrying about my car.
