I drove my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport from Rhode Island to Georgia with no apparent problems. The second day of being in Georgia I noticed a grinding sound coming from my brakes. There were no warning lights on my dash at this time. I brought it in and the technicians identified that my drivers-side rear caliper had seized. Calipers, rotors, and pads, were replaced on both sides. There was a problem with the parking brake as well and that hardware was replaced. I was charged over $1000, which was fine with me. The technician told me that it was still grinding a little bit and just needed some break in time. The grinding persisted for two more days and I felt that it was unsafe. At this time the ABS light would intermittently come on and the traction control light came on. I brought it back in. I was told that the parking brake was not adjusted correctly and the rear drivers site rotor was glowing hot. I was told that the hardware on the drivers side was replaced again and the brake was adjusted. I received the vehicle back. I took the technician for a test drive and showed that the parking brake would not hold the vehicle on even the slightest of incline. He agreed. I needed the vehicle however and agreed to take it back another day. I parked it in gear in the meantime. At this time the ABS light was usually off, but the traction control light was consistently on. I was told by the manager that the probable reason for the traction control light being on was faulty aftermarket wiring, however, this had not been a problem before bringing it to the shop. I brought the Jeep back several days later when the manager had suggested that their ‘electrical guy’ was working. The Jeep was there for the day. When I received the Jeep back the manager said that he would have to refer me to an electrical shop to have the wiring traced and repaired. He also told me that the problem with the parking brake was packed mud in the area. I concede that I had taken the Jeep mudding, but that it had left the shop previously without the brake functioning correctly. I had also asked the manager to check the tire pressure. When I took the Jeep for a drive the parking brake had significantly improved function when applied compared to the previous repair, but would not hold the vehicle on more steep, but not unreasonable, inclines. The tire pressure and traction control light remained on at this time. This service was completely unacceptable.

on July 13 around 7:51am I had a flat tire and went to your north lake location to have a repair. First of all the lady by the desk treated me as if I was begging instead of a customer that needs service. She is so rude and have a terrible attitude. After she half listened to my problem she told me to wait and took my key around 10am she called me and said they cant fix the tire need a new tire and battery she said the tire is around $200.00 and a new battery is 139.00. While she was talking to me a technician talked to her briefly and changed the price of the battery to $229.00 I then declined the service and left the place and have my tire fixed for $10.00. I was going to attached the tire they said can not be fixed but could not do any attachment to this survey. In the mean time I will send a letter to the main office with my tire image and will asked for refund for the warranty I paid on 9/27/2017.

I would never visit this location again. They have no clue what they are doing and are only concerned with bleeding as much money from you as possible.

Brought my car in to have the engine checked. $100 later they said they found no problems. The next day, several hours from home the engine warning light came on again. Brought the car in as soon as we returned and was told we needed $530 in repairs to replace fuel injectors and fuel filter. Two days later the car left my wife sitting in Friday rush hour traffic, leaking gas all over the highway. $150 in towing to get the car back to Firestone. I’ve been a loyal customer of another Firestone for years, but given how poor the service and follow up has been I’m not sure we’ll ever return to Firestone.

Our cars have been serviced here for 15+ years. Mechanic Tom is the best! We can trust him to honestly tell us what needs to be done right then. And, if there's something that doesn't need to be done immediately, he tells us what to watch for and/or gives us a timeline.

Great experience...timely service and complete explanation and estimated cost to correct my vehicle's problem before work began. A(final cost of repair was less than estimated). Kudos's to a service advisor that made me feel that Firestone genuinely cared about correcting my problem. I had not been to a Firestone store in years because of a bad experience... decided to take another chance, glad I did.

I was so upset and apprehensive until I was placed in the capable hands of a gentleman named Malachi. I have not had to use the services of a car repair shop and you are always hearing horror stories about bad experiences.A young man named Malachi took me aside and explained everything and if money was an object he suggested I apply for a firestone credit card. They were running a 6month no interest special. I applied and now my son can pay back with no interest !! I am a customer for life!!!! Malachi should be commended for helping a retiree who was helping her son. We are in a better state after our encounter with Firestone and Malachi!!!!!

Customer service was OK but the actual work was not. They seemed disinterested in really doing any work. It seemed like they poked around and printed me a long list of things that would total up to $7,000 to fix. Not helpful at all.

Fortunately, they had my custom tires available within a half day. However, the next day as I was driving, my new tire went flat. I had to have my car re-towed at my expense. The stem had a leak. I was not offered any concessions, reimbursement, or help for my inconvenience.

I will nevere take my car back to this place. It started with an oil change in which they also check my tires. Added pressure only to have the wrong amount and had warning lights on dash board. Possible to have happen but easily fixed when lowered the pressure. Then took car back to get power steering pump replaced. Was told it was a new part not refurbished. Always use new parts I was told. Made an appointment to get the job done. Was told it take no more than 2 hours. Two and half hours later mechanic tells me it's not right yet- either the part is bad or needs adjusting. This is after he worked on my car along with 3 others cars at the same time! Kept my car running by accident and ran the battery down too and that had to be charged. The power steering pump made a noise so I was given the option of returning to have the "new one" replaced or wait another 3 hours for another pump to be received and installed. I asked several times is the car safe to drive? Yes it was safe to drive and to come back. Could I get a rental and return the rental the next day rather than take the chance of driving? No the rental agency that they used wasn't open and they would only use that agency. Again I was assured it was safe to drive. That night went out to the garage to get something and power steering fluid all over the garage floor. Thankfully this didn't happen in rush hour traffic the next morning! Firestone had to arrange a tow truck to come to my house and bring my car back and then pay for my rental. They had the car all day and then at 5pm that afternoon told me the car was done and I had to return the rental that evening or pay for the additional day! Told them that wasn't happening and I was retuirning the rental the next morning and my car had better be running and correctly fixed. I pick up my car and had it for one day. The next day go out to my car and the battery is totally dead because they ran the battery down so badly from when the mechanic left it on while working on three other cars at the same time that it no longer held a charge! Firestone didn't want to do anything about it until I had to call the consumer hot line and get corporate Firestone to step in and they also weren't responsive. So once again I had to be towed back to the store and this had to get a new battery. Will never bring my car back and will not recommend.

I have been a long time customer (over 10 years) and the service for the tires was good. The only thing I am not happy about is the fact you have had so much turn over at the Tucker Location in the last year, that no one knows us by name any longer. I really prefer to go to Conyers now. Phil and Shawn (at the Conyers location) and the rest of the gang know us by name and appreciates us a lot more than the new folks at the Tucker Location.
