    On April 22, 2018, I brought my vehicle in to get my rear passenger tire replaced. While my vehicle was there, I secondarily requested an oil change. I was given an invoice for repairing my tire and for the oil change, the invoice was around $70. The location was busy that day and I was informed that I would get a call that day to let me know whether or not they would get to my vehicle that day or the following day. I was okay with leaving my vehicle there overnight, but I never received a call that evening. The next day, I still had not received a call, so around 1:00 pm I called the store and spoke with the service advisor, Frank. I was informed that they could not repair my tire and it had to be replaced. I was further informed that I should get the rear driver's tire replaced as well because it was also low. I asked how much this would cost, I was quoted $400 or so. It was around 1:00 pm in the afternoon and I was frustrated because if I were informed of the process of my vehicle the evening prior or that morning, I would have made arrangements to take my vehicle elsewhere earlier. Instead, it is later in the afternoon and I have to scramble around to either pay for the work to be done at Firestone or figure out how to take my vehicle elsewhere. I usually take my vehicle to Gerald's (amazing service every time, but they are not open on Sundays) and I also work at a car dealership. I only took my vehicle to Firestone this time because they are open on Sundays, I got the flat tire on a Sunday, it was in a convenient location and I wanted a quick fix. Upon being notified of the amount that it would cost me to replace both tires and for the oil change, I instructed the service advisor, Frank, to cease any further action and to park my vehicle somewhere visible outside as I will have AAA to come and pick up my vehicle and bring it to the car dealership where I am currently employed. He agreed. I called AAA and went through the entire process of telling them where the vehicle was located, they called the store and informed me that I have an unpaid balance that needs to be resolved prior to AAA being able to pick up the vehicle. I called and spoke with Frank to inquire about the unpaid balance, what the balance was for and why he had not told me of the balance when we were literally just on the phone. He informed me that the balance was for the oil change, which was the secondary reason for the visit. I am very upset that the oil change was done. I believe the ethical thing would have been to call me to inform me of the status of my vehicle and the increase in price prior to performing the oil change, so as to give me a chance to pick up my vehicle and take it elsewhere for both the tire service as well as the oil change. Upon calling Frank, I decided to go ahead and pay the invoice for the oil change, although I did not agree with it. However, it was busy and I wanted to get everything done. Frank informed me that they could not take payment over the phone. I asked my co-worker if I could borrow her vehicle to drive to Firestone so that I could pay the invoice and call AAA back to pick up my vehicle. This all occurred on a Monday, I spent countless amount of time out of my workday to deal with this and I am highly upset. I am a recently barred attorney, and I am working countless hours. I do not have time to deal with things such as this throughout the workday. I will never recommend a Firestone, especially not this Firestone, not even to my worst enemy. I am very unhappy with the treatment that I experienced.

    This is the worst Firestone in Charleston County. All they do is sit around and watch television. Do not take your car here. I did and they did not do anything I asked and were very rude to me. I am still waiting for someone from Firestone to contact me. This is the second complaint I have filed with the company.

    Rob and the team at the Savannah Highway Firestone exceeded all expectations! Dealing with car problems has always caused me a great deal of stress, but Rob and his team made the process as smooth and pain free as possible. Friendly, professional, and extremely helpful... A+!     I called AAA and Meineke and both of their quotes were over $1,000.00 to have a radiator pressure tested , flushed and install a new radiator along with a thermostat. The price of $ 730.00 was a savings and the work was first class. Thanks to Jeremy, service advisor and the technician.

    Before going to Firestone, my nephew checked out my air conditioner and determined that I needed a compressor. I almost fell for this, but, when he told me he would go to the junkyard to buy a compressor; I said " No Thank You". I visited the Savannah Highway store expecting to buy a compressor for my air conditioner . The technician checked out the vehicle and determined that I did not need a compressor and my a/c was working fine. I bought two tires with the money. It is a pleasure to find an Honest, Fair-minded auto repair business. Firestone is my "Go To Auto Repair Facility". Thanks to Jeremy Rock and William

    I had a rear brake job done a week ago I was disappointed in the way I was treated. 1. The technician did a good job and installed brakes correctly 2. The problem was when I went to pay for the job I was informed they put new rotors on. 3. This was not a problem but I never remember being told about the rotors when I okay them to do the work 4. The lady checking me out took the rotors off the bill. 5. I was called by a person at the store, told me I had to pay for the rotors. 6. I told him fine and may the decision never to come back to Firestone again. This problem was created by the Gentleman that called me by his attitude and his poor customer services. The rotor cost is not the problem but the customer services is.

    I having been using these guys for the past 2 years. they have done oil changes, starter, battery, alternator. trustworthy and honest. Justin and Jeff are great. I just left them all 10s on the survey also!

    Called on a day it rained 18 inches locally, had a dead battery and questionable alternator; Firestone got me it right when I needed, they had it ready to go in less time it took me to grab a bite to eat next door, and for less than if I had done it myself! (and I usually do, very impressed!).

    In early July 2015 my wife was traveling to Charleston for a long weekend. Our van overheated and she called ahead to Firestone. The personnel were very helpful and made arrangements for her to drop the van off when she arrived in Charleston. When she arrived they quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and arranged to make the repairs the next day. The repairs were done correctly and quickly the following day and the van has functioned fine ever since.

    Your folks did a great job. On time and a fair price. My daughter goes to C of C and had to be towed from Orangeburg. We left a note and hid the keys as asked them to call her. The manager called her and discussed with her what the problem was and about when the car would be ready. Then he called me to discuss the details. It worked out great and I will definitely use them again

    I brought are vehicle in on Sunday morning with a broken radiator. The folks at Firestone not only took excellent care of our car, but also kept us informed along the way. We knew exactly what was happening. Moreover, the mechanics didn't just solve the immediate problem but looked to find the root cause of the radiator's failure and fixed that too. In the time I was waiting for the repairs, I got to see how that day's supervisor interacted with other customers. He gave them the same great service I received. We were thril;led with the service we received.

    I am VERY pleased that I stopped by Firestone on Hwy 17 in Charleston, SC. I was visiting from Florida and have had an issue with one of my tires for over a year...having to put air in nearly every other day. I stopped by to get some air and was approached by one of the technicians who offered to check it out early the next day before I left to drive home. I brought the car in the next morning and within 35 minutes they had resolved the problem...without breaking my bank! For less than $25. It's been one week now and several hundred miles and I have not had to add air to my tire! What a relief! Thank you for your honesty and integrity, fair prices and not taking advantage of a traveler.

    Recently had an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment done in about an hour. The guys at Firestone Complete Auto Care - Charleston are great to work with. Only complaint would be to ensure that the mechanics don't get grease stains in the car. It wasn't bad, I was able to clean it off once I got home

    I ordered and paid for new tires eight days ago. The manager told me he would call "the second they arrived." Haven't heard form him yet, but I can't wait! Hope to be able to add a star to my rating once I actually get service.

    I think that the one thing you need in car service is trust, and I get this from Justin and the others at this Firestone location. When I have a problem I feel that they are being honest about what needs to be repaired and in return they now I will bring my business to them for years to come.

    Took my jeep in for a new starter. They also told me I needa new serpentine belt. Upon completion - my internal sensor light comes on and stays on. After another 30 minutes of telling me they cant locate the issue or reset the code, they finally tell me that it isnt their issue and I should take it to jeep. This is a little disappointing since the light wasnt engaged when the car was dropped off there. Subsequently I went home did some tinkering under the hood and youtube video hunting and it turns out their mechanic when putting on my new S belt, disconnected the coolant temp sensor and never plugged it back in. I did so, drove it to the gas station and poof - the light went off. Doesnt even seem like they did the basics to see what the issue was, just tried to go through the codes, but never investigated the engine again. While store manager Justin B was very cordial, I am very disappointed in the level of service provided and will not return.

    Our past 2 experiences with Firestone have been not so great. The last one is what made us change to another company. After dropping my car off at noon for a simple oil change they told me it would be done by 4:00. Fine. I got the shuttle service to take me back to work. After making arrangements to have a friend leave work early to take me back to Firestone around 5:00 so that I could make another 5:30 appointment we arrived to see that my car wasn't even in the shop yet. DROPPED IT OFF AT NOON. The guy went on to say that they had been backed up all day since BEFORE NOON. I asked why wasn't I told that when I dropped my car off? You can't give customers unrealistic times if you know you can't fulfill them. People change their schedules and inconvenience other people sometimes to make the pick ups happen. Not only did I miss my 5:30 appointment but I also had to continue to wait another hour. It was just ridiculous. When you pay top dollar for a service you expect to get top dollar treatment. A simple phone call would have been nice. (he claimed he called, but didn't). The customer that walked in right after me had dropped hers off at 11:30 that day and it still wasn't done either. Something has to be changed.

    I had purchased a used car with great looking tires. While driving out of town on the interstate I virtually lost one tire at the time, diagnosis dry-rot. I was disgusted and just wanted to buy the last one to at least make one matching pair. Walking into the Firestone store was such a refreshing experience. I was helped by a very personable guy who took his time to find a good deal for me and made sure everything was just perfect. No more unpleasant surprises on his watch! Through various managers and staff, their performance has been consistently good, their advice spot-on, and the work professionally handled.
