    I completed the online survey and gave 10s across the board until I came to the page about being offered a free alignment check. I wanted an alignment check and was charged $25....on Veteran's Day....as an active duty Soldier. Now I wish I could take back those 10s that I gave Firestone in Springfield, VA.

    Professional, courteous, and accommodating; squeezed me in without an appt, confirmed by front brake pads were getting thin, but assured me they were still safe through at least my next oil change. They did not try to upsell me with a complete brake job when not needed. Their synthetic oil change coupon (online) made the price the best I've paid in this area. They will be my go-to shop as this the second or third time they treated me very well. I trust them!

    JUST TERRIBLE SERVICE. I was to get four tires and some wiper blades installed. The 4 Primewell, that were on line and available became unavailable once I got to the shop. So I get up-sale to 4 Firestone tires that are on hand. Or I can wait until later in the week, so they can order the tires that are supposed to be on hand. I'm assured the tires are on hand, so I accept the up-sale. During the installation I'm informed that they only have three of the four tires in the shop, but can get the other tire from another location. Now these are the tires that are, more expensive than the online tires and are supposed to be on hand. After three hours I decline the front end alignment, and ask that my vehicle be readied for my departure. I get home and check my wiper blades to find that , those have not been replaced. Call the shop and told that the technician forgot to install, and that they were on the desk. So I can either come back later in the week or return and have them installed asap. So not only was this shop incapable of providing the tires that they said they had twice, they forgot to install the simplest thing correctly. The wiper blades. Hope your experience will be better than mine.

    Brought in leaking tire for rotation and repair, got notified by phone that another tire needed repair, this involved money so apparently it was done...but no tire rotation completed, that was supposed to be free so not a priority! Two days later another tire leaking air...keep in mind when I brought it in, My Lexus only had one tire leaking. Two trips, $60.00 bucks down, and the third leaking tire, that was not leaking at the initial visit, is now labeled "Non-Repairable"..but no free rotation. Maybe I'm the cheapo and should have paid Lexus the $60.00 for the rotation and I would only have had to repair one leaking tire???????

    I walked in during the middle of the day to see if they could replace a brake light for me. Even though they were busy, they were willing to accommodate me, and my car was done much sooner than I expected. But I'm not surprised...it was just another example of why I love this location and have been using them for years!!

    The guys at this store are awesome. I just bought my first car out of school and I don’t take it anywhere but here for my services.     After 3 visit over the same problem, we are still no were close to resolve the issue. It has cost us 1500 & 2 days and the car still has the very same issue. Very disappointing.

    Thee good; The cost of the work was $200 less then the estimate from 2 weeks ago. We were given a 40.00 dollars off of brake pads when the work was done. The Bad; th if we had the work done when they did the estimate it would have been 566.00 vice 370.00 two weeks later.

    I had an issue with the service at Fort Meade, MD Firestone and was not willing to return to that store. I was directed to the Springfield, VA Firestone to correct the issues I had at Fort Meade. The manager at the Springfield store provided me with profession and courteous service. He corrected the issues I had with my vehicle and gave me the reassurance that if there was any issue that arise from his service, I can bring my vehicle back to get it corrected. His technicians provided the service on my vehicle and got me out of the store in a timely manner. That made me feel that this organization was well trained and thoroughly skilled to get me in and out quickly respecting my time. I would highly recommend the Springfield, VA Firestone to family and friends!

    I had an appt at 8AM to have my tires changed. I called in to check the status at 1130AM and was told to head over it should be ready in 30 Minutes. When I arrived they told me it was ready and I had to wait another 2 hours. A total of 5 hours wasted even with an appt. That is unexceptable especially when I was told it shouldn't take more then 2 hours. I have a 2013 Dodge Dart and keep my car in good condition I can't possibly understand why it would take 5 hours to change tires.

    Would not recommend this Firestone. I had my car towed in and there because the check engine and battery light came on and the car stalled in traffic. They checked the car out and service manager James told me that the battery that was in it was to big and burnt out the fuse box and alternator so he sold me a new battery, fuse box and alternator 1000. Job I picked up the vehicle and the check engine light is still on , when I asked him why he said it would be another 106 dollars to diagnose I said what did I pay for you too just replace parts and not fix the problem so he gets his machine and writes down the codes and hands me the codes. I was furious p lol ease don't waste your time or money here these people will not fix your vehicle but have know changing and charging for unneeded repairs.

    Had a 9am appointment to have 4 tires changed. They said it would take 1 1/2 hours to complete. When I inquired at 1030am they had not started working on the truck. They were finished at 1145am, almost 3 hours after the start of my appointment. The tires look good, and the install looks good as well, but 3 hours with an appointment is ridiculous. They were not respectful with my time, and did not communicate with me.

    The manager at this location is a true leader and cares for his customers. He let his crew go home and stayed at the store 30 mins late to cash me out and give me my car. I was unable to make closing due to certain circumstances. This manager should be commended for his dedication.

    I hesitate to write this, but I have to say, Paul [service mgr (I think) & Oscar (the mechanic) are tops! I hesitate, because then other people will request them, and I want them all to myself when I go to Firestone. They always take care of me ... and I'm a picky SOB.

    I waited all week to schedule an appointment for an oil-change specifically so I wouldn't have to wait long as they told me on the phone. I showed up on time for my appointment and its took 3 hour to complete one simple oil change. I won't be back.

    I have transferred my location from Woodbridge, VA to Springsfield, VA Friestone location. Springfield, VA location takes the time to actually drive the car in question to hear and get a feel of what is the problem. Service is conducted and DONE correctly the first time around vs having to return 3 times within the same week like the Woodbridge, VA location. DONT USE THE WOODBRIDGE, VA location service and quailty of work is AWFULLLLLLLLLLLL.

    My most recent visit at the Springfield.VA location was the best I have ever had at any garage/dealership/mechanic. I normally visit the dealership for repairs/oil changes etc but from this point on, Springfield will be the place for me to take my vehicles. The staff there is honest and they consider your life to be in their hands thus making sure you are safe in your vehicle.     ​The salesperson "Bunni" and manager "Sam" were exceedingly helpful in making this repair experience a most positive one. "Bunni" is extremely nice over the phone, gave great support in arranging my repair appointment, and is a real asset to the shop's operation. "Sam" was extremely helpful in making a cost adjustment that helped this person on disability keep the cost as low as possible. Although I am always leery of being ripped off at auto repair shops, I will DEFINATELY be returning to this Firestone store for additional repairs when needed and will also be recommending them to my friends and on Yelp and Cartalk Mechanix files.... I feel I really lucked out when I brought my car to Firestone Springfield. Plus, my brakes are working much better now, thank you very much!

    Sam, the manager, ensured that the headlamp I needed for my Suzuki XL7 Grand Vitara was available before my scheduled visit and that the Firestone technician was present when I arrived to make the replacement. Furthermore, the replacement was completed within Sam's projected time frame which meant my waiting period was appreciatively minimal.

    I came back twice for alignments... the first time, they didn't get around to it because they accepted too many walk-ins and couldn't get my car in and out within a reasonable timeframe (5 hours). I had to come back another time and they mixed my paperwork up with someone else -made my alignment even worse! Then, I came back a second time and they still couldn't get it right. It's clear they don't test drive your car afterwards; and, if they do, they don't care that it's obviously off. The manager was considerate enough to issue me a refund.. he was apologetic and professional. Just wish they had a better system of expediting and double-checking their work.

    Tires needed were not in stock but still got them replaced the same day. When I came to pick up my car, it wouldn't start. The manager and two other employees tried to help. Turned out to be a problem under warranty and needed to be towed to the dealership. Even though thought it was after closing time, two staff members stayed with me until arrangements were made with a towing service and my ride came to get me.

    unfortunately I visited this store so many times. Last time for flat tire repair, because I have warranty on that. 1st day they said it need two and half hours, can you imagine?     I have been a loyal customer since I moved here in August of 2004. I love this place, the staff is very friendly and the service is amazing. I always feel welcome and like a real person/friend when I walk in. They always greet me with a friendly smile and a great attitude. It is like they ALL are happy to be there working.     I took my car in for a tire rotation and oil change. Told it would be an hour and a half. At two hours I was told it was almost done but they have determined that my battery needed replacing and that it would only take a few more minutes. Another hour and a half went by before I was told it was ready. When I got into the car the radio and HVAC display were not functioning. Another 30 minutes for them to determine that the technician had shorted out a fuse when changing the battery. Way too long for basic services and obviously no one had done a quality check on the service before telling me it was done. And no offer of any discount or compensation...obviously it was not done right the first time.

    I had to get new tires sooner than I expected due to tread wear not lasting as promised by manufacturer. The manager Sam did everything he could to help me pay as little out of pocket for the new tires. When the manufacturer did not offer what Sam thought was an appropriate amount in compensation, he took it to Firestone corporate and got me a better price. Thanks Sam! You went above and beyond what I expected.

    I've been using the firestone complete auto care in Springfield VA for well over a decade to service my vehicles as well as those belonging to my family and friends. I have stuck with this same store because I have trusted their honesty and their abilities. My last three experiences with this store have left me questioning both core values. The first experience occurred in early 2014 when I brought my vehicle in for an issue with the front brakes. The recommendation was made to change my front pads and rotors which did make sense given the issue. It was also recommended to change the rear rotors becuase they were "very worn and low". I had the work done on the front rotors and later removed the rear rotors myself only to learn they were not at all worn or low. I had this verified by another mechanic. The second issue I have had is with the Firehawk wide oval tires on my Acura. Within the last three years I have had repeated issus with these tires and how they are wearing on my vehicle. I have them rotated routinely and I continue to have issues with them making low level rhythmic knocking sounds while I am driving. I have learned from other Firestone managers that these tires have had recall issues with Firestone for this problem yet, I was denied a warranty issue and had to pay a prorated amount for a new set...The manager made it clear he would do me a favor by prorating the second set but tried to say it was my fault for not rotating them enough. This may be true on some tires but I have learned that this problem is widespread for the wide oval tire and I am having the same problem with the new set and have rotated them exactly to recommendations. At this point I have spent over $1600 on tires within the last 3 years...on one car...and have not made it past 50% life on either set. The third issue was recent and involved an oil leak and water pump issue with a Mazda 6 that I brought in for service. We were quoted a price for the water pump repair and told the oil leak would be investigated and quoted for service. The vehicle sat in the shop for almost 24 hours when I received a call stating the oil pump could not be replaced because the shop did not have the proper wrench and that they could not determine why the oil was leaking and that we should take it to someone who could find out why the oil was leaking. These responses seemed like the response of someone who just didn't want to deal with a repair. Also, it was a hassle to leave the car there for so long and depend on a repair and then be told they could not repair it. It cost me time and money. Thank you for your time

    I used to take my car to the dealer for service but, after using Firestone for a repair, I will never go to a dealer again. The Firestone personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and, most of all, honest. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need. If you think something needs repair and it really doesn't, they will tell you. Firestone is my "go-to" auto service facility.
