Trey is very friendly and informative. In fact he knew most customers by their first name as they came. Old school style of business in that he is looking for long term customers not short term sales. Companies talk about customer service and customers demand to much. Trey was just an old fashion simple solution fixing friendship building person. He also owns up to his mistakes and is very knowledgeable and if he does not know he will not just make something up he will find out. It might take time but he will follow up

I arrived at the location at 7:15 AM and there was no one there and their sign clearly stated that they open at 7 AM. There was no way for me to leave my keys and phone number so they could contact me when they finally opened. They also inconvenienced my coworker who was nice enough to drive me to get the vehicle and also my employer for which I had to leave work multiple times to get this repair done.

Brought my 2002 Ford Windstar in to replace a worn tire and have an oil change and tire alignment done. The day previous I'd gotten a flat (rear driver) and after finding out that I didn't have a spare as if just received the car back (it was stolen and the police got it returned to me) and found out I no longer had one I called my father he came and took the tire and they replaced the blown with a new tire on the rim. So I now had purchased 2 new tires and paid for an alignment and oil change, noted in the service report was that prior to alignment both new tires were to be put on the rear so rear/driver new and rear/pass new. I had also asked if they could plug in the computer and let me know what codes were hitting so I could get the car into tip top shape. I had asked that because of all the other stuff I was having done if they could just package that in and not charge the 100$ bucks (no idea it was that much) but I didn't want the whole shebang just to know what codes were listed so I could look into fixing them, didn't need the comprehensive read out with all the extras just a list of codes and they did get that done for me. Get a call the next day saying it's ready to be picked up. Come to collect the van and notice that now the front driver is almost flat and that the new tires weren't on the back but rather one front/pass and the other rear/pass side. I had already paid. The kind tech mentioned above filled the tire with air and I was off to run some errands. I came back about an hour later and the tire is flat again. Once they got it up on a lift they found a nail the cause of the leak. There is no way to determine when the nail entered the tire, or was pushed far enough to cause a leak like that I do know in the 50+ hours I was in possession of the car the tire stayed inflated. I bring it there and when it's returned the tire can't stay inflated for more than an hour? I was told I could buy another tire, because we can't prove who's at fault, but they would discount 30.00$ dollars. Well I needed the tire to drive so even though I believe the tire should have been replaced totally on them (warranty on me if I wanted it) I have car the tire stays inflated they take the car return it with a leaking/flat tire?!? And I'm supposed to pay for that! That's just the beginning, when up on the lift the same tech tells me that the passenger front tire rod is no good and needs to be replaced otherwise they wouldn't be able to do an alignment let alone a proper alignment, mind you I had already paid for and been told that one had been done. So had I not lucked out with this honest tech I'd have left with a now leaky front driver tire and a bum pass/front tire rod with the new tires on the passenger side not both on the rear as in the notes also unaligned. So I say replace the rod and the leaky tire I'll take at a discounted price. Even though I felt that more should have been done to make this mess right, say a 4th free tire on them? Or maybe a spare to put under the back in case I get a flat I had already bought 3 new tires but more than that I needed the van and needed it working so I bit the bullet and took out my wallet. Not sure when this was noticed most likely mentioned to me when I came back to pick it up ready to go with a leaking tire bad tire rod and unaligned (did have an oil change though) the first tire replaced, as the car wasn't there to compare tires my van has 2 different spec tires. Now it may have made no difference but the 3 on the van were the same and the one replaced first was a different size still the proper size for the van but different than the other 3 and in the end Nick did get that tire to match the others and only charged me a buck for that which was great. (I'm rounding numbers here) Day one: Get a flat on the road, no spare pops comes and brings the blown tire and rim to the shop. New tire - 100.00 Day two: Drop van off for New tire(2nd one) oil change and alignment 210.00 Called and told van is ready to be picked up, was not able to make it there for an extra day. Day four: Arrive to pick up between 11:30am and 1pm not sure. Van is ready to be picked up, oil change complete, 3rd tire needs replacing due to nail goes flat in minutes/hours when before was just fine before, tire rod broken making alignment impossible and the new tires are on one side as opposed to being both in the rear. None of that is told to me until after I had paid the 210.00 for an oil change, 1 new tire and an alignment, of which 2 out of three were done. Although now I also have a new leak in a third tire. So I left and came back. So I paid for an alignment that was not possible and now had to purchase a new tire because it won't hold air even though it did before I brought it there?!? Ok so how much? Tire rod replaced and a new tire 30 bucks off (mind you this is the 3rd tire I'm buying in as many visits to the store, 240.00 or so, alright need the rod to be able to align so do it I'm trying to make sure I fix this now while I can afford to but it keeps climbing. They get it done rod changed third new tire and an alignment done or not done we aren't sure, as they did stay late to finish but I've been told that either they did do that very last thing or that they weren't able to and that I was going to be back the next day anyway they were going to do it then. Waited for the car until around 7pm not sure why they didn't just finish it the next day, I had not expressed any need to have it back that day. Ended up waiting around the shop 5 to 7 hours! I leave car pulls to the right, pretty hard, this days total - 240.00 Day Six: return unhappy car is pulling a bit to the right, bought 3 new tires one of which I believe should have been on them though the manager did give 30 off the 3rd tire and put the matching tire on the first bought tire for a dollar and allowed me to buy the 50,000 mile warranty on the other tires I previously hadn't, had a tire rod replaced an oil change and finally an alignment. (Rides straight as an arrow now) this time I stayed and waited, lucked out got the same techs Nick and a younger guy Dark hair who was in the bay doing the work, the one who noticed the tire rod and the different sized tire in the first place. Days total around 50.00 All and all about 5 days 4 tires 4 visits totaling 8+ hours of waiting around 500.00 bucks spent, the van has 3 new tires now all the same size, an oil change a tire rod replaced and an alignment finished. I'm not to keen on returning to Firestone for any other reason except for replacing/fixing a tire under warranty or to have an alignment/tire rotation done again under warranty. I would not recommend this location to family or friends. I'm the end the work was finished and the 2 techs I mentioned did what they could I believe but all in all the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't expect much from this e-mail but you asked and so I'm telling. To who ever reads this thanks for your time and for bearing with me. Thanks again. -Mr. Andrew Taylor (son of David, who the work orders were done under, he had been there previously with his car)

Nick my service manager explained everything i needed and when I let him know that I could not do everything that was recommended financially he helped me figure out what was most needed now and also helped me try to get financing. After service was done he went over my bill thoroughly. Even offered to hold my grandson while I looked over my bill and signed!

Had an issue with my Tire - thought it was the sensor. The Firestone team found the problem and took care of it professionally and in a timely manner. Manager assisted me with additional concerns and as a result I bought additional services. Even topped off my oil at no charge. This is why we keep coming back and recommend to friends and family. My wife also loves this place!!!

After having a bad experience with Firestone 4 years ago I decided to give them a 2nd chance 2 weeks ago. I had 4 tires put on my vehicle and when I went to pick my vehicle up EVERY wheel was damaged. When I brought it to the employees attention his response was " What do you expect me to do, its Sunday". I advised him that he needed to get a manager on the phone or down the the store to look at my damaged vehicle and accept responsibility to fix the wheels. After going back and forth for about 10 minutes he go the manager on the phone and they accepted responsibility. I agreed to allow them to repair the wheels. Firestone had my vehicle for 3 days, did not provide a rental I had to figure out transportation to and from work (25 miles each way). When I picked my vehicle up on 11-17 the manager was not there to deliver my car to me, He didnt even inspect the repaired wheels to ensure it was done properly before giving my vehicle back to me. The wheels look HORRIBLE!!! I spent 600 dollars on tires at this business and the customer service I received was horrible. Not only was the customer service poor but I was inconvenienced and still have damaged wheels.

We were on vacation and made an appointment and wanted to get in and out fast and they did just that and didn't sacrifice quality. I had a $19.99 oil change coupon and planned on using that, but with a high mileage vehicle the Firestone rep suggested high mileage oil change which was over $30 which I received. I didn't plan on spending that, so the coupon should state not for high mileage vehicles.

I brought my car in for oil change, then was told my Bridgestone tires that had 30000 miles on them where cracked and dry rotted. These tires had a 75000 mile warranty ( terennza) they gave me a 30 percent pro rated discount on tires that were not even 50 percent worn. I don't think this was fare value for these tires.

I am glad you asked for my opinion. I have used the Firestone in Surfside, SC 17 since it opened. I have been a dedicated Firestone customer for the last 20 years. My last 2 services at Firestone have been horrible. I don't know if you changed managers or just cannot get quality help. I have been very disappointed. I had very simple services: remove wheel locks and rotate tires. I asked for the locks at check-out and the technician tossed them out. I could not believe. I told the manager to get them out of the trash. Comes back and says they can't find them all. Second time was a wheel alignment. At check out there is no report or evaluation. No vehicle check- up sheet, nothing. I don't care for the managers there and not sure If I will go back.

I wont be returning to firestone. I had a few things done a while back with them and it turns out they installed the wrong parts on my car. It started acting up and almost caused the catalytic converter to bust. Also caused me to pay extra money for things that should have been fixed. they always suggest things you dont ever really need also. Just to push sales.

I went for an oil change and tire rotation it ended up being $75. They told me I needed new tires and new brakes and said "you might as well just trade it in." The car is 2 years old. I wasn't happy with the service and definitely will not be going back which is a shame because I used to go to Firestone for all my maintenance back home in New York and it was never that expensive.
