Job responsibilities for advanced technicians in Cleveland also include troubleshooting and repairing cars to manufacturer guidelines by performing services such as fuel ignition and electrical repairs, as well as brake checks and A/C recharges. Advanced mechanics also mentor their less experienced teammates, overseeing them as they perform everyday services like tire maintenance and part installations. Required Qualifications for Cleveland Advanced Mechanics
Wondering if you qualify for a Cleveland advanced technician position with Firestone Complete Auto Care? You must have a few years (5 years minimum) of mechanical experience under your belt and hold proof of completion of a Vocational-Technical program in the mechanical field. A valid driver’s license combined with the ability to test drive clients’ cars is a must-have. You’ll also need adequate math, reading, writing, and communication skills. An outstanding application will also show you’re A.S.E. certified in at least five of A1-A8 (L1 counts, too). If you’re not, you’ll have up to two years from when you join the team to get adequately certified. Cleveland, MS may also require extra certifications, in which case you’ll be expected to get those, too. Just as importantly, you must have the skill to mentor your less experienced teammates and educate non-mechanically-inclined guests about services and car lingo!
