Long story shortened, the tires I had ordered hadn’t arrived in time for my appointment, so they upgraded them at no additional cost. The overall price of the tires and installation care in at about $20 less than the quote I received online. Kudos to Craig for taking care of everything before I even got there.

It is too long to go in to. In the end they sort of corrected the issue. The salesman thought I had Road hazard to replace an unfixable tire so the tire by itself was $16 instead of 208. So while I was at it I bought another one to replace my spare. But they added stuff to both tires that I did not ask for and did not give me my price match. The next day I let them know their mistake and offered to pay the correct price for the first tire but would have to return the second since I could not afford both at that time. Reluctantly they let me keep the first at the mistaken ‘warranted’ price and allowed me to take off what I didn't want on the second. Sounds good, but I also noticed they didn't give me the price match I'd shown them. And a closer look at my purchase from 2016 I saw they'd done the same thing. So the first time they over charged me little over $30 for each tire (for a total of over $124.00) and this time over $20 for the replacement for my spare. Is this a pattern? Was it on purpose? Nor did they explain the added warranties I DIDNT NEED OR WANT. like wheel balancing.. . who the heck gets that. In over 45 years of driving I have NEVER had a tire loose a balancing weight, though the salesman said it happens all the time. In their favor, I will say the people were very nice. Though, sometimes I wonder if the whole car industry. . sales and service just see woman coming and think: ‘oh here come a stupid woman. . and an old one at that.. I won’t say what race I am. .). I'll admit I didn't even think to look over the receipt. . though, in my wildest imagination you couldn’t have told me they would have added stuff to the bill without asking and would NOT really do a price match. My fault. .but will never be repeated. I will also say this. I feel blessed. It was like God made things whole again. Because of the salesman’s mistake I caught all the add-ons in my bill and the incorrect prices from the from 2016 and from the other day. The difference in their loss on the tire they thought I had Road Hazard for, made up for getting cheated the first time I went there in 2016. God is Good! hmmmmm so I'll change the two stars to 4. So thank you Lansing Firestone.

Always check your invoice from the quoted price and the actual price being paid. I was quoted a price that was $20 cheaper but when I add a coupon, the sales advisor raised the cost of the service.

I needed 4 new tires right away, I went to Firestone in Lansing, IL and some other tire places. Came.back to fire stone who had the.best tires and the best price. Everyone was great, Especially Vito. When, I did have to wait long and I also got an oil change. When I pulled off the car ride felt great. Better then when I bought it. I recommond Firestone and thank you Vito.

I have to say my issue with Firestone (Lansing IL location) is with carelessness. Not once but twice had a terrible outcome getting a basic oil change. First time: some months ago, they forgot to put the oil filter back in my car. I drove around for 3 weeks not knowing this and dealing with a poorly functioning car. When I first realized the car was driving poorly a few days later, I took the car back to them to look at. They told me that they "could not find anything wrong". So I drove the car another 2 1/2 weeks with the same issues happening (car jerking, stalling, and acting like it wanted to die especially when driving on the highway). So I decided to take the car to another Firestone location. The Tech there discovered that there was NO oil filter in the car. Not learning from this incident, I continued to go to FS for my oil changes. The second incident occurred a week ago. Went in for an oil change. I get my car, and immediately realize a strong smell of gas/oil but assumed it was maybe some minor oil spillage or something. I made one stop before heading home, then told my husband about the smell. He checked the car and low and behold, realized the Tech had failed to put the oil cap back on so all the fresh oil just put in the car had splattered all over my entire engine. To say the least, I was furious!! I immediately called the Firestone customer service number to put in a claim for these issues of pure carelessness on the part of the Techs at this location. I was told that I would be receiving a follow up call from a FS customer service member within 48 hours to "rectify" the situation. To date, it's been SIX days and still no call from them. Moral of the story. Mistakes happen but these issues were just plain carelessness!!! Then to make matters worse, Firestone apparently ignored my claim or either have so many that they haven't had the time to get to mine. Either way, I'm NOT a happy, satisfied customer.

A week ago, I had a synthetic oil change. I used the online appointment scheduler to secure an appointment for the same day. The appointment took a little longer than expected, but once they began to work on my car, the oil change was done quickly with quality and the courtesy check was meticulously performed, topping off the fluids, adjusting tire pressure as required, etc. The counter people were pleasant and easy to do business with. The ease of making an appointment online, quality service and competitive prices will keep me coming back.
