Scottsdale Advanced Auto Technician Job Description
So, what does the day-to-day life of mechanics in Scottsdale look like? As an advanced auto and tire technician at Firestone Complete Auto Care, working on cars will take up most of your day, from test driving and repairing vehicles to explaining technical repairs to non-mechanical clients.
Advanced auto technician job responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing cars to manufacturer guidelines by completing services such as diagnostics and exhaust repairs, as well as brake and hydraulic fixes. Additionally, advanced technicians mentor their less experienced teammates, overseeing them as they perform everyday services like oil changes and battery installations. Above all, you will help us uphold Firestone Complete Auto Care’s brand promise: to deliver vehicles that are fixed right, priced right, right on time.
Required Qualifications for Scottsdale Advanced Mechanics
Wondering if you qualify for a Scottsdale advanced technician position with Firestone Complete Auto Care? You must have at least five years of experience doing car repairs and have completed an automotive Vocational-Technical program. A valid driver’s license combined with the ability to test drive clients’ cars is required. You’ll also need adequate math, reading, writing, and communication skills. A stand-out applicant also has A.S.E. certifications in at least five of A1-48 (L1 counts toward the five, too).
