The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable. They didn't pressure me to buy any additional services like some places. The service was affordable. It was easy to make an appointment and my car was done in a little over an hour. Absolutely love this location and will recommend Firestone to my friends and family.

I am so impressed with the attention, information & service that I received from all the staff at this Firestone location. I only needed a new battery today..but will be returning in the next couple of days to purchase 4 new tires for my Mazda CX-7. Being a recent widow..I am now having to take care of my vehicle needs. It is very refreshing & comforting to be able to trust & rely on a reputable company. So I plan on having any other service on my vehicle done here in the future.

They are always helpful and explain things. A part broke while they were changing the coolent. It didn’t take them too much longer to get the part and fix it.

The staff at Firestone provide consistently great service. Inspections are inexpensive and come with a detailed review and cost breakdown. The staff thoroughly explain any issues they find and the risks of waiting to address them, but there is no pressure to make a commitment on the day of the inspection. There are lots of good things that happen here - the service advisors are approachable and friendly, they don't pressure me into fixing things that are optional repairs (my A/C is going bad and they simply told me what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost, as well as other potential things that the technician may find once they start working), and they're all quite knowledgeable. However, there are a few other things that are minor annoyances - they supposedly rotated my tires and patched another, but it wasn't on the invoice so I'm not really sure if it happened or not, even if it was free of charge. Also, nobody called me when the work was done, so I had to call them to find out if I could pick up my car or not. It's strange, because they're very good about calling promptly once the technician has had a look at the car, but it seems like a pattern that they don't call once the work is done.

On a rainy Saturday I ran over a nail and my tire was toast. I was able to jack up my car and pull the wheel off myself, getting soaked in the process, and have a friend drive me a mile down the road to Firestone West Madison, but my friend couldn't wait with me because she had plans. The sales associate talked me through tire types, brands, and prices, and then the shop got to work on it right away. I only had to wait 20 minutes or so and the tire was ready to go. Everyone I interacted with while in the shop was extremely nice and welcoming. Instead of having to take a cab, an employee offered to drive me back to my car free of charge and refused to take tip money. I was able to put my tire back on and get home out of the rain within hours of getting a flat tire, and I have Firestone West Madison to thank for that.

I had my car in because the battery went dead. I asked that the battery and charging system be checked. They found one loose cable, fixed it and that was that. Three days later my battery was again dead. Brought it back in. They found the other cable was loose and fixed that. Then they did finally do the battery and alternator check which were both OK.

First of all, the request for this review was not sent to me, it was sent to the previous owner of the vehicle and then forwarded to me. If the staff would have taken the time to review the information left with the car at the time of service they would have known the proper email to send this review to. However, how could they know how to do that when they couldn't properly handle the repairs in my car! 48 hours after picking my car up, the engine completely blew and now I have no car! My advice... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

It is very frustrating to go get my car serviced at places where all they do is try and sell me more services and tell me that all these things are wrong with my car. My recent experience at Firestone was very nice, I was greeted and helped immediately, I waited for my oil change to be done and it was very quick. I got a discount and then was told about some potential things to consider in the future with estimates given. I liked this approach as I didn't feel pressured about it at all.

recently i got a chance to have their services and my review is based on multiple times services from them. Before buying a 1998 honda accord I got them checked and they mentioned a tire and battery change immediately among other things. Well i didn't got that changed and after buying the car ( 7 days difference) i got it inspected again and then they said your tires and battery are good. I asked them to pay a special attention on my breaks. There was no oil leakage from my car and no engine light problem. They inspected the brakes and said it needed a brake rotor replacement but its good to go. AS soon as i took the car from their shop there was a brake failure and brake oil leakage. Well with no choice i asked them to go with full brake repair. They charged me $508 for it. But when i got my car the engine light was on, and there was oil leakage. So, next day i asked them why my car is having these problems, they said you have to go engine diagnostics and they are going to charge for it. But they denied any responsibility about the fact that this happened after i took my car back from them. First their opinion (tire and battery) does not match, second they do not do proper inspection, third if anything goes wrong like oil leakage, they are not going to take that repsonsibililty. So its up to you guys if you trust them go for them, I am not going to take their services in future, except for the front brake end as it is covered under 2 year warranty but this i will be on their head all the time.

I've been to the Madison (west side) Firestone service center several times with my very old car. I've always received timely and useful advice and quick and excellent service. Overall, a very helpful experience to one who does not know cars.

I hit a pothole in the mall parking lot and had a flat tire, I made it to the Firestone store about 8 minutes before closing time. The staff was happy to help me to get a new tire and stayed late in order to take care of me. I am very grateful.

Overall, I was satisfied with the oil change. It was easy to schedule an online appointment and the employees were helpful and kind. Main complaint is that the service took about 25 minutes longer than they said.

Every worker made me feel comfortable and confident that my vehicle was in the right hands! The manager went above and beyond, to inform me of each step of the repairs that were taking place. I had a long list of things done (I didnt have an appointment and was able to get my vehicle looked at immediately and was repaired the same day). I am a female and I dont know much about vehicles. I knew that every employee at this location was extremely experienced and I could trust them.

My husband had called to get tire options for my VW Passat. The sales person was quite helpful and well informed. Later that day I had them installed. All Salespersons were very pleasant. and the tires were on and ready to go within a reasonable time frame.

Came in with multiple problems. The oil change was fine, but everything else had issues. I was told the problem with the cooling system wasn't found by the technician, and it might be related to my exhaust system problem(!) (no - it's still there gurgling away on acceleration despite $100 in charges). They sent me to an outside exhaust repair company to fix my flex pipe, and that company did a great job explaining and fixing my issue. It also cleared up my O2 sensor issue, which wasn't adequately explained by Firestone (they ordered the sensor, but I obviously didn't get it replaced). Then, my tire had a slow leak, which they patched, only the problem got worse. I brought in the vehicle again, and I had to have the tire replaced (under extended protection, though the service advisor didn't catch that at first). This was not Firestone's finest hour, and I still have to get my cooling system repaired.

I have been going to Firestone for more than 10 years now. I have always felt like they treated me fairly, and even generously. I feel like they communicate to me what absolutely needs to be taken care of, and things that are optional at the time, or can be put off. I don't feel, ever, like they pressure me to accept a service. It's always my choice. The work has consistently been of high quality, and the value--especially compared to a dealership--is incredible. My most recent service involved the fact that my hood release had broken, and it could not be opened. Firestone was able to quickly resolve the issue. My favorite story about Firestone was one I observed. A groups of people, well dressed, was waiting in the lobby, and the service technician came out to talk to them. He told them that the noise their car was making was not serious, and didn't affect the safety of the car. It was something that could be fixed later. He did not charge them, and they were able to continue toward their wedding in another town. That's the kind of thing that makes me, and others, loyal to Firestone.

I have used Firestone in four different states for both planned maintenance and emergency repairs over the last fifteen years. I credit them with the fact that I'm still driving the same car. Their service is excellent, the Madison west store especially. As a woman it is easy to end up feeling dismissed or taken advantage of when bringing your car in for repairs, that has never happened at a Firestone. There are very few things I rely on more consistently than my local shop.

I have been satisfied with their work (have taken my vehicles there for the past 40 years) but in the past year 3 of the 4 times I have taken my car there even though I have had an appointment, it has not been done when I was told it would be. Once I had to miss an trip out of town due to this.

I've gone to Firestone since 2011. Positives: They are extremely informative and will take the time to explain any car issues. They are trustworthy - they have never recommended work that doesn't need to be done. Typically, if they do mention issues, they are transparent about timelines and more often than not, they'll let me know if a problem can wait or if it needs to be done sooner than later. My car is at 150,000+ and they have helped to maintain it. Negatives: Since they are quite busy, it's difficult to make a same day or next day appointment. When I stopped changing my own oil, this became a pain - knowing how easy it is to change oil yet having to make an appointment 1-2 weeks in advance. Overall, the folks I have come across are honest, passionate about working with vehicles, and kind.

Had a mix experience....hope it helps your customer service .......I call your company requesting the Tire i had research...you sales person over the phone was steering to a more expensive tire ....after insisting on what we wanted to purchase....your company order the four tires ...which took a week....and the service and cost was good.

I asked you guys to investigate a loud noise on turns in my bmw x3. You told me that it was because of the power steering pump running dry and I should replace my pump. The pump was $800 part which felt like was a cost I could bear and I continued to drive my vehicle. However, when I actually asked BMW to repair it, they told me the pump ran dry because the steering rack had a leak which would also need to be replaced and cost more and I ultimately decided it was better to sell off that vehicle. I would have really loved it if you guys would have looked into why the pump went dry and that could have potentially saved me quite a bit of money because I would not have driven my car and sold it off immediately. I as a consumer expect you to pay attention to the detail on why the pump went dry and focus on the root cause of the problem rather than just what I asked for. I do not have that technical capability and hence, I come to you guys.

While the people up front are friendly, I have issues frequently with the techs putting the wrong type of oil in my vehicle. We have it listed in all caps on my paperwork. I make sure I remind the person up front to make sure full synthetic oil is put into my vehicle but several times that did not happen. Usually I catch this when I go to pay the the amount is too low for synthetic oil. Then I have to wait again for them to change it. Not happy that this has happened, let alone several times.

I've brought both company and private vehicles to this store for more than 15 years, and have never had a bad experience. I have had aflat on my company car while out of Madison. I made in to the store about 20 minutes before closing. They did the required work with the leasing company and had me ready for work that night. My wife and daughter will only bring their cars here for service because of the level of service we have all experienced on a consistent basis.

Goal as stated by Firestone..."We want to make sure you, and all our customers, receive quality service from Firestone Complete Auto Care - Madison". Response by Store Management...Unacceptable! On September 9, 2014 I purchased four new tires. One of the tires was "out-of-round". After three visits to the Firestone Auto Care Center on Mineral Point Road I sent a detailed letter along with receipts to Michael Graves the Store Manager. On November 4, 2014 after three attempts to speak with Mr. Graves (calls to Store with "He's not available", etc, and no attempt to return my call) I called called Firestone Customer Service Department and was connected with Mr. Graves by Consumer Affairs Representative, Henrietta. The faulty tire was replaced on November 6, 2014 without any further issues. I'm sorry I CANNOT give the Firestone Auto Service Center a "satisfactory" rating. Unfortunately a non-responding Manager damaged the professional service rating provided by all the front-line service employees.

Scheduled an oil change for early Sat morning several months ago. Brought car in and told them I was waiting til done. Hour and an half later I went to service desk asking if almost done. Woman behind desk look around for paperwork somewhat annoyed, went in back and came out shortly to tell me they were going to pull it in the service bay now. I couldn't believe it... almost two hours sitting there wasted time. Worst part ... no apology just excuses.

I enjoy taking my car in for an oil change and walking to the mall for a pedicure! I also appreciate their honesty in fixing what needs fixing on my car. I found them extremely competitive on tires as well. Very nice people to work with as well!!
