I bought my Firestone Destination LE tires in a set of 5 (full size spare for this guy!) and kept careful check on the alignment, tire pressure and rotation intervals to get every mile out of them I could. Then last week I got two nails in the right rear that this location fixed easily enough, fast service, fair price and I'm back on the road! Then the air pressure indicator on the dashboard showed the same tire down a week later. Took it back and there was a NEW nail in the tread too close to the sidewall, so it can't be fixed. #Bummer! They sold me one new tire, put the spare on and took the undamaged left tire and put it up as the spare pretty quickly. Then the technician checked the torque on all the lug nuts and made sure all 4 tires were able to communicate with the air-pressure monitoring system. The final two were nice touches and are the mark of a complete, professional job done well by a technician that takes pride in a job well-done.

This is an addendum to an earlier vent I posted on this site, expressing dissatisfaction with recent service. I was trying to keep my Jeep running inexpensively as possible, and I learned that my service manager was trying to keep my Jeep running as safely as possible. I needed two other friend and family mechanics to explain that to me. Josh contacted me immediately about my first review, and asked for the chance to explain why he recommended and made the repairs that were done. He offered to amend the job to the way I thought I wanted it done, and I was on the way to the shop to have it done, when I was convinced by others that the repairs they made were going to prevent me from getting them done in as little as three months from now. In hindsight, a smart repair, good preventative maintenance, savings in the long run and immediate response from the sales team concerning my post made me return. Thank you. I have had good service from this group on minor battery and tire jobs in the past; I believe my knee-jerk reaction was having to get their recommended work done earlier than planned, and I turned it into deception instead of prevention. Learn something new every day.

They try to sell you more than you need, and replacing items before they really need to be replaced. They replaced a perfectly good tire I had plugged two days prior. They offer to give each customer "a break on their bill" - it was done with two customers (and me) while I waited for them to give me my Jeep back, and I didn't get it until 6pm (dropped it off at 8am for an oil change and check for two slow leaks on two tires), so I could not make them reverse what they had done. I didn't need the additional tire and not so sure the other could not have been patched from the inside.

Bill was $117.56 higher than it should have been, as Josh over charged on 2nd set of 4 tires from the 1st set within a 2 week period. Same promotion was going on, and refused to credit when I came back in to go over 2nd invoice.

I was having trouble with my throttle ,my fav shop fixed the problem but I had to go back the next day for the same problem because the tech forgot to connect a hose ,I know Firestone has guidelines for repairs and parts and so forth I just felt like I shouldn't have been charged for anything ,I had left it there overnight with the intention of paying for an engine diagnostic ,even thou I was charged $20 for whatever that's not the point I've invested over $5000 on parts and labor with Firestone over time and the problem was a tech error not mine and I never got the call it was ready and it was 45 mins til closing ,now let's see I left the car late afternoon and I had to call around 5 pm the next day and asked what was going on with my car and was told it was ready and that I might have future transmission problems ,cause the tech thought he heard something ,I'm still going to do buisness with this shop because we gave a solid history ,but damn doesn't loyalty count anymore ....

I had a flat tire, the 2nd one it two weeks. The store manager Josh was very courteous and understanding.; He knew I had the road hazard warranty on the tire and it could not be repaired. He took the tire and rim. I left my car overnight so he could put the tire on the car. It was done very quickly the next day and i had my car back on time. Very good experience.

I got to the shop 10 min early and the Manager (Jesse)came outside and waived me in,that made me feel like this shop cared and after going thru my spill about my auto,this shop set me back on a better path and I'm blessed from it ,that have great techs here and a great leadership team ,thanks team Oceana for making me feel that I really mattered ,and that my auto and it's care and maintenance were well addressed , thanks team Jesse for setting the tone , I'm a Firestone fan for life because of you ,Thanks!

I have used this location many times. The manager and the techs are friendly and extremely helpful. I did not feel pressured in any way. Although they are a busy location they were able to get a significant amount of work done in a few short hours. I would recommend dropping it off when it opens at 7.

I don't know why I haven't used this shop before to get tire work done on my car. Their prices are VERY competitive and their service is pretty fast. They also have a clean shop and a clean customer lounge with reasonably comfortable chairs-not that you'd be there that long. The cost to fix a flat tire was about HALF of what it cost elsewhere.

Great experience working with Jesse at this store. He welcomed me by name and greeted me quickly, professionally, and courteously. He attended to my car's service needs immediately. Jesse made me feel at home and like a valued customer. He kept me informed of the progress of my vehicle. Roberto explained the work done, the evaluation of my vehicle, and suggested services that would benefit the condition of my vehicle. He was also very courteous and professional. The waiting area was clean and comfortable.

I am disappointed that you no longer are doing the $10 of $25 survey. You can go on line and do the survey but they no longer give you a number to enter on your receipt. The $10 was a big incentive to continue to use Firestone.

The salesman Richardo helped me a lot. I had a lot of problems with my car & he helped every step of the way. He was consistent with updating me often on the status of my vehicle. He didn't try & hustle me & the mechanic even showed me the things that were wrong with it. I highly recommend this Firestone!

I used them a week ago when my tire blew out and ndidn't have a way to get to the location that actually had my tire. Not only did they have the tire brought over to a much closer location when I asked at the last minute, but Mike came and picked me and my tire up, took my friend home to get my daughter off the bus, took me to the shop to install the tire on the rim, and took me back to my car and put it on my car. They are great people and I would recommend them to anyone!

In this day and age were everything s pretty much going up in prices it's nice to land in some spots were they have you walk out with a smile and great prices and they really make you feel like they care about your auto and the article they provide this store should be on a training video for Firestone , thanks guys!

Had a tire with a nail in it, and needed help. Went to several other places with no luck with help. Went to Firestone where they were very concerned and very helpful. The day was getting late and I wasn't able to stay to get my tire fixed that evening. They gave me a appointment first thing in the morning. But before I left they filled my tire so I would make it home safe. Firestone cared enough to make sure that I made it home safe.The service was great the people were friendly and the price was very reasonable. They made the whole experience very enjoyable. I scheduled a last minute appointment online, arrive to the wrong location and when I finally reach the correct Firestone stone location, they were polite and still accommodating. My service was done in a timely manner and the technician was personable and came out to speak with me directly. The only small thing is that I have really light color interior and they was grease on my door panel, steering wheel and a few other places. I just recommend that the techs try to wash their hands prior to driving cars out the bay. Otherwise I was very pleased.

I recently had my entire suspension rebuilt on my SUV so naturally I had to get realigned.When I took my vehicle to firestone I explained to them it has new suspension and I also installed caster and camber kits on each wheel because the factory didn't have adjustments.After the alignment got done and test drove by the mechanic I left to go home and vehicle began violently shaking.So I had to go back to firestone and explain and ask them why in the world would they let me drive off this way.The mechanic knew and said nothing.Then I noticed that the caster and camber was the exact same after the alignment,it had not been adjusted at all.My right front wheel was right on the border of being in the red and so was my back left tire.When I asked the manager ( Jessie) why the wheels weren't corrected his response was " well it won't cause any tire wear " .The whole point of purchase and install on those camber kits were to correct the problem and they completely ignored me.So I left that night ( After 5 hours of waiting and still leaving feeling taken advantage of ) I got home and realized that I just wasted money on my camber kits and wasted the hundred dollars and firestone for them to not fix and ignore the problem.So I went back the next day with the alignment print out and showed them that the work wasn't properly done and I need it aligned to specs not on the borders of being in the negative.The manager still argued with me ( Jessie ) but finally said we will correct the problem.So I dropped the car off the next day with a note and the original alignment print out showing what needed to be corrected and the camber kit spec sheet incase they had any questions.8 hours later I get a call saying my vehicle is ready for pick up.I leave work go to pick up,she hands me the new print out of the alignment and the front right caster was the EXACT SAME.I asked why and she said she didn't know.This was the whole reason it's sitting here for a second time for 8 hours and it still wasn't fixed.So the shop manager comes in and his response was " he didn't know why it wasn't adjust but it drives straight" of course I was insulted because this was the whole reason why the camber kit was purchased and installed and the whole reason I had to bring it back and THE STILL IGNORED IT.So he brings the tech in and they both start attacking me telling me that if they adjusted the caster that I would end up in a ditch somewhere instead of admitting that they made a mistake for the second time the got very loud very aggressive and then told me if I they adjusted the wheel and I end up in a ditch then it wasn't there problem.Which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.The camber kit is made to correct the problem not leave me in a ditch.

Overall the service is great. I have been a customer at this store for many years.I do my oil changes and inspections almost exclusively at this store. I have bought several sets of tires for my cars and my daughters cars, I have lifetime rotation and balance and alignment. It would be nice when they rotate the tires if they would look at my records and check the alignment without my asking them to do it and then having to bring it back to get it done,

Had my first fender bender and Jesse, Krystal and Mike worked with the insurance company and got me up and running in no time. My mechanic Ron has always worked on my car and did all the repairs necessary to get me back up and running. Even offered to give me a ride to and from the shop. Great teamwork - thanks to everyone at the Virginia Beach Boulevard Firestone.

I needed my water pump replaced & Firestone was much cheaper than dealership. Customer Service is excellent, they treat you like a family.
