    awesome customer service, the location was busy but that's a pretty good gauge of a shops ability to perform the requested work. the service manager went out of his way to get tires from another shop and have them delivered and installed within hours, verse a day at another shop which will remain unknown... wouldn't want to advertise for the losing team! thanks for a great job

    Service Advisor, Caleb, provided quote to replace the brake caliper and 30 minutes after the vehicle was left to perform the quoted repair, he called saying they needed to add brake pads. That problem was already identified and should of been included in the $300+ quote but they just wanted more money. I told them to stop work and I went and picked up my vehicle and fixed it myself for $30. Firestone is a rip off!

    My wife took one of our cars in for an oil change. Terrible service and no communication. 2.5 hours waiting in the lobby for an oil change. Others came in after my scheduled appointment and left well before my car was serviced. No communication whatsoever or updates or apologies—only wehn my wife went to the counter asking what was taking so long. I had to call and speak with Carlos, the store manager, who only responded saying he was been there for 3 days and was brought in to help fix the issues at the store. I hadn't ever had such terrible service before, so what he was brought in to fix, I do not know. Just a couple weeks ago I brought another vehicle in for an oil change, new tires, and state inspection... Did not take 2.5 hours. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place going forward. I am not one to leave reviews, but this was really terrible!

    I had a 4:00PM appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. The service adviser informed me that they were having issues with their online appointment system but were very nice and went ahead and honored my appointment time. They had my vehicle in and out in about 1.5 hours even being short staffed.

    Came in for an oil change and a team member identified a severe problem with my tire that left undetected could've really hurt or killed anyone in my car when it failed. We got new tires and the awesome lifetime alignment deal and I feel much safer in my car and confident in the service team to carry out any other oil changes or maintenance I'll ever need for my cars.

    I brought my car in for a flat. I pick it up and the battery is dead because the lights were left on during my "courtesy inspection", I'm told. I complain about this, and then Rachel tries to tell me that it was dead when I dropped it off, but yet no one bothered to call me, or notate it on the paperwork, or tell me when I picked it up. Also, when did it take 31 hours to replace a tire? No one can call to let me know when my car is ready?

    These guys are good. Got me in, got me out in no time. Not the cheapest but I got a real auto teck (mechanic in my day) to replace my battery and check everything out, not some parts guy working behind the counter.

    After getting a new tire replaced which they handled quite well, they recommended we have a front end alignment. Which we did. However there was an odd noise we asked to have them check it out. Made an appt for the next morning at 10am. Got there for the appointment and by 3pm they hadn't even started. It's hard to be without a vehicle that long for evaluation. If it was going to take that long they should have informed us so we could make other plans.

    I visited the store about two weeks ago, the service was good, the tires I wanted to purchased were more expensive when I went to the store but the attendant honor the price after I show it to him, he also informed me of other discounts I didn't find in my research prior of going to the store. I am very please with the service, this is the first time at Firestone and I will use them again.

    A parts supplier sold me a joint without the boot, but the boot on one of the existing joints was reusable & reuse of that boot saved the day (Sunday).

    When you check-in, whatever time estimate they give you (despite appointment ), add one hour to it. I had a road hazard warranty on my tire. It was not honored. Had to talk to the manager. He only prorated the new tire after some argument. It was sold as this would cover repair, and if not repair-able, provide a new tire free of cost. My tire went out in less than an year with only 9k miles with minimal tread wear. Funny thing is that it happened twice to the same exact tire (other are same brand as well). The only difference is that the last tire was installed at Wylie location. They do not try to find the root cause...just sell another one and re-mount it.

    I'm continually happy to bring my two vehicles to Firestone for oil changes, tire rotations and alignment services. They always get me in and out without any extensive waiting and bring future items to my attention without pushing a sale. I used to bring both vehicles to a dealership but was bombarded with sketchy "recommended" services and long wait times despite having an appointment. I recommend this Firestone location to all my family and friends and will be a loyal customer so long as they are open.

    I went to the website to make appointments for oil changes for both of my suvs. I was the only one able to drive so they were a couple of hours apart. I called the store all if I needed to actually print the coupon from the website. When I told Steven about the earliest appointment, he made me reschedule. ....at the same time as the other appointment. He said to discuss it when I arrived. I should have known at that point that it was going to be an issue. I arrived almost 30 min early for my appointment knowing it might mean an extra half hour wait. They were busy, it was a Friday afternoon. When I checked in, the guy at the counter couldn't seem to find my appointment(s) so attempted to input my information as the new customer I was. I sat down to wait. This was about 1:30 in the afternoon. One hour passes. ...no one had even moved my car. Two hours pass....still nothing, and not a word from any staff. They are turning away costumers at this point. Three hours pass.... they pull my car in. I'm thinking another half hour at most. Around 5 pm, I hear one of the service techs calling a customer with my last name, asking him about my car. I'm losing my patience and now they are trying to give my car to someone else. I walk over and correct the guy on the phone. ... he looks utterly confused. Ten minutes later, they come over to my seat and try to sell me almost $1000 of work that my car probably does need. I say no, THEN the oil change is completed. I arrived at 1:30 and left at 5:45 for an oil change. Definitely don't bother with an appointment. And never wait for your vehicle.

    was told I needed a new gas cap to pass emissions test. One could be delivered for $31.00 but if I pulled the car from the bay to go get a new cap that I knew I could get cheaper elsewhere, I would have to put another 100 miles on the car before resubmitting for test. In the interest of time the cap was delivered and "installed". After completion I went down the road to Auto Zone and found the exact cap for $11.99. Was not happy.

    I am pleasantly surprised with Firestone and this dealership. First, after completing a spreadsheet on competitive pricing I saw that Firestone beat just about everyone! At local dealer I was greeted pleasantly. Everyone was very nice all the way to the tech doing the install! I will be back and tell my friends as well!

    Terrible experience. Recommended service and repairs not needed, dripping oil, spilled oil everywhere , didn't review detailed vehicle history or physically inspect vehicle, vehicle description, plates, my name and countless details skewed. They don't care ..

    Got a quote on a/c work on a Saturday and found it to be too expensive. Got a call from Damian the following Tuesday and he offered to reduce the price and replace the dryer also. Took my truck in Friday afternoon and they had it done in a few hours. Great work guys and now I'm ready for Summer!

    Over the last year I spent quite a bit of money on maintenance for my '05 Camry as it was absolutely necessary. In general, they did a good job getting things done but did overlook retightening hoses to my transmission which eventually leaked a lot of transmission fluid. I called them and they took me right away and promptly resolved the issue. I'm also very pleased with their integrity and honesty, a very rare trait these days unfortunately. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with their service and quality, they do a great job with servicing and troubleshooting of standard, contemporary vehicles.

    I had a issue with the dealership trying to price gouge me to repair my new truck. I contacted Firestone and they were able to do the work for a much more reasonable price. The work was also done in a very reasonable time the next day. They work hard to earn your business and keep it. They are always pleasant to deal with and communicate very well.

    I had new back brakes put on my car at the recommendation of Firestone. My brakes were not squealing prior to the new pads. However, now they squeal. I brought my car back last weekend, and told them to change the pads, and they are squealing......very frustrating

    I normally have this location change my oil. Yesterday I opened the hood to check my fluid levels since it had been a while. I noticed the plastic cap where you put oil in the engine had a chunk of it missing like someone had stepped on it and broken off a part. Since the last person to open my hood was a Firestone technician, I can only assume they broke it and didn't bother to tell me. Let's be real - there is no way a tech could put this cap back on without realizing it had been broken. Next time I am at Firestone I will discuss this with the manager.

    I previously used the Sachse Firestone and really liked the service from the manager, Jamie. When he left, a few years ago, the store provided me with very bad service including tires that weren't made for my car, wore too quickly, and had to be replaced without a warranty option. I also had my struts replaced which have made horrible noises since. When presented to the store they tightened bolts and sent me on my way...still with the noise. Wylie has done a great job reviewing my vehicle and recommending fixes for all of these issues. Unfortunately, I'll be replacing my new struts with full assemblies within the first year...an option I should have been given on my original visit to the Sachse store. The work is not complete yet so I may change my mind but I feel the Wylie store is far superior to the Sachse/Garland store on Highway 78.
