Why is there never a ZERO star rating available? I recently bought a used van with a wheelchair lift to help with my wife. The tires looked reasonably good, but I didn't know how old they were so I opted to replace them. I went online and ordered 5 tires and set appointment for installation at the Tyler Firestone dealer. Since I can't leave my wife unattended, my son drove from Palestine to Tyler (about 50 miles) to take the van to the Firestone store for me. When he arrived they told him they only had 4 tires. I told them to put them on and check all tires and put the best one on the spare mount. They showed this all to be done on the receipt. I went out to the driveway and found that the spare was actually flat. When I removed the cover, I found an old nest from some critter as well an abandoned wasp nest and plenty of cobwebs. They obviously never looked at the spare tire. Had I not checked this, I could have been left in a very bad situation. I will have someone remove the spare and take it somewhere else to buy a replacement tire. Also, I opted NOT to register for your $5oo. free product/service drawing attached to your survey.

The service tech who goes by Butch who did our alignment ALWAYS gives us GREAT ADVICE AND SERVICE. He's one of the main reasons we go there. It isn't that others aren't doing a good service, it's just that he seems to always go above and beyond what is expected. We trust his work and advice and refer others to Firestone for their alignments. Employees can make or break a company's relationship with their customers which I often feel is overlooked by corporate. I'm glad at least you're offering the survey but it's of little value if you not listening. Please give these and other employees the recognition they deserve. Folks in here are real pro. Got to the shop afternoon around 230p with 7-8 customers ahead of me and they still manage to get it done much sooner than what I was told. The work also includes the car care package, rotation, brake inspec, fluid inspec and top up. I have been a long time customer and this is why.

They have saved you a customer because, if not for Jason and the crew at Tyler Texas store .. I would have cancelled my card. Des Moines iowa- liars and thieves ( doc ) available AURORA Colorado -liar and thieves (doc ) proof available. Ft worth Texas liars and thieves also have proof so sick of these men trying to screw over women. I am not stupid and grew up in a family of mechanics . I also can see through all the bullshit these men threw at me and that why I have proof of un authorized work . Work never preformed but charged for! It really disgusts me that I spend so much money with Firestone and still these men get away with ripping me off! Until I call then on it. Then no apologies, no discounts. Nothing. Like a FU TO ME AND MY FIRESTONE CARD

7/18/2017 Came in to have rear left wheel bearin replace. the did work in record time but to date I've had to replace rear wheel brakes replaced. Took to another mechanic for brake replace on rear of car.. 11/03/2017 the mechanic found rear brake pad was not put back in place when they changed wheel bearin on my car. Took car in several time for them to check. They had placed rear brake pads side ways. So it ill be awhile before I go back.. Also I checked to see what the wheel bearins for the rear cost and ya charged nearly $180.00 for parts and the parts store cost was $120.00. I think your mechanics need to be trained again.. They are costing people more money to fix what they mess up. Thank you Virginia

They had a change in staff since I was there last. Only one tech there that I recognized and asked manager to see if I could get him to mount and balance new tires as he had done a nice job previously when purchasing truck tires. I was told yes however it would a longer wait so I opted for first available tech. The tech on my receipt was 22 Jacob. He did an excellent job and should be recognized for performance. I was in the door and out within one hour as I arrived about 0930 on a Saturday.

Each time I visit this store - there is always a bad vibe and the customer service is horrible. Every single time I get service done at this store, there is never a good turn out. The only reason I come to this store is 1) its the only one in town and 2) I can use my CFNA card. Honestly, if I had the time to drive to the nearest Firestone, I would. The guys at this store are rude and tell you that you need additional work done on your car that is not needed.

They can't even put the proper air pressure in the tires. My tire sensor light wouldn't go off. I immediately returned to Firestone. The tech told me to go to the dealer. I checked the air and added air. It fixed it#!!! I new that was the issue, when he told me the BS. This is the second time this location has done this. Also on this visit i have a bad tire. They fix the issue by moving it to the rear . It has a lot of weights on it.

On 8/3, I made an appointment for the following day wanting an oil change, tire rotation and all brake pads changed. I dropped the vehicle off the night before and told them I had a dentist appt at 2 and needed the vehicle back in time to get to my appt. At 11am the day of my scheduled appt with Firestone, I called because I hadn't heard anything and was told that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I was surprised but said great and went straight there. I found out that they only diagnosed my brakes. This was the MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT NEEDED DONE and why I made the appt to begin with. As the man shut the cash drawer I remembered I had a coupon and was then told I could not use it. After my spouses vehicle engine had to be replaced just this May due to Firestone (done at the Tyler location after an oil change in Wichita Kansas) I will never be back. They should have called me when my vehicle was ready like I asked, they should have asked me about my brakes then if they had any doubts, they should have honored my coupon or at the very least apologized for all of the failures. Here is my cancellation of any and all future work scheduled including my appt for 7am tomorrow. I would have called them but...

Honest, fast and reasonable are the reasons I have been using this Firestone Store for over 15 years. Oil changes are done quickly and at a VERY reasonable rate (cheaper than the quickie lube) and they don't use inferior products which I really appreciate. Have bought many sets of tires from them including a set of tires for my son's car today. They had the best price in town, got to my vehicle quickly and finished the job in record time. Tim is the best Manager and Butch the Service Manager awesome. Thanks again - job well done.

During the busy holiday season. I stopped by late in the afternoon to see if they had time to do an oil change, balance and rotate my tires, and do a tire alignment. They immediately took my vehicle back and an hour and a half later, service was complete. Thank you, Firestone.

We were visiting a family member in the hospital and had a flat tire on our trip in from Houston. We were able to get two new tires and the installation and rotation were done promptly and everyone was very nice.

This las encounter was very satisfactory for new set of tires, and alignment, and turn around time. I have been a loyal firestone customer for about 10 years.... However, my experience with the One and only Tyler location has been marginally satisfactory at best. I have visited there maybe 6 or more times and have witnessed and experience poor attitudes and service work. While the turn around times have not been bad, in my opinion, the "routine" inspection of affiliated components while doing service is lack-luster. Make sure you state you want an alignment check/done, even if you've had a lifetime alignment and are buying new tires. Dont assume, and then ask for the spec sheet...... Dont assume they are checking you brake pads, tire wear or rim damages.. Ive had to purchase several new tires because of an over looked bent/ gouged rim (inside edge), which was incidently found by a mechanic servicing a pedal accelerator sensor ...... Also, no tranmission work is done at this location.......! Tyler need a second store!!!!!

I took my car in for a wheel alignment , it had been pulling to the right for several months. I waited with my child for 4 hours , ( with an appointment !). Paid $90 and drove off the lot. Within about 2 miles I could tell the problem was not fixed rather I had the same issue. I called the gentleman back that checked me out at the register, and was told that my car was only out by1% alignment and the tech thought it wasn't the alignment at all but actually the misbehaved tires I was upset I didn't get the courtesy of a call to say what the actual problem was and offered a rotation instead. If this is what the technician thought? Why was j charged $90 if the problem was not rectified ? Why not offer a balance ?

I made an appointment for 5 o'clock at Firestone. However, I got to Firestone at 4:30, and I didn't get out of there until 6:40ish. All I needed was an oil change and tire rotation. Overall, the quality of the service done on my car was great, but the pricing was too expensive. Still, I trust that their work was of good quality. Would I go again though? Probably not. Some of the mechanics that came in and out had a really bad attitude.. then again maybe they were just having a bad day (but there are just some things you don't say in front of customers.. Like "I don't have time for that car.. It's going to be another hour before I look at it"... when I've already waited two is not the right thing to say!). Granted, I didn't wait the extra hour, but still the wait was just utterly insane. So, that's why I would give Firestone a fair rating.

Made a appointment on line and they called and canceled. Jason said they only do oil changes and tires. After 5 pm. My brakes went out and they say they are open 7am to 7 pm.

We were towed to the location with a blown tire. We worked with Jason at the store. He helped us get back on the road within 3 hours with a new set of tires with alignment. He went above and beyond with us as customers. We were advised of local establishments we could visit while we waited on our alignment and replacement tires. He made a highly stressful situation more manageable. We were able to get back on the road quickly to enjoy our vacation.

I had taken my vehicle to another major chain shop in the area several times over the last year to try and solve a problem. I spent SEVERAL hundred dollars and never got my problem solved. I felt that I knew what was making my vehicle handle so poorly, but they said this was not the problem ( they had supposedly replaced the part that I thought was bad). Without any suggestion from me...the technician at my local Firestone store identified the problem and it was exactly what I had been trying to get fixed! new part installed...Handles like a new vehicle!

I had the oil and filter changed in my 1999 Ford Taurus earlier this month, and in January they replaced the rear brakes and drums for me on the same car. The crew at my local Firestone did their usual excellent job both times. Whether it is tires, brakes, or car maintenance that I need done, Tim (the manager) and his entire staff are the guys I trust to do the job right the first time and at a fair price.

I have a lifetime on car Alignment. I have my doubts that they do the alignment when I have requested one along with an oil change. The last two time I haven't received the before & after paperwork showing the corrections. When I question them about it they get befuddled.

My local Firestone is so convenient to my work. The staff treats me like a friend and I feel confident they are treating me with respect and professionalism. I use them regularly as I have 2 cars, both of which seem to fail at the same time...I guess that's normal since they are both approaching the 100,000 mile mark. Being a single woman I am always fearful that repair shops will try to take advantage of me, but I've never questioned that here. They keep me informed as to what is going on and repairs are done when promised. Their Firestone credit card makes it easy to check out, and I have taken advantage of their no interest offers, which helps so much! Are they the cheapest in town, probably not, but do you want to trust your car to the lowest bidder? I can't recommend them enough.
