I was at Firestone in San Marcos on 08/16 to get new tires. The store was not bad except it did take a bit to get everything done. I really only drive to work and back and also I work with my girlfriend so we will drive together in her car when possible to save on gas. Tonight when I was driving home on IH35 i heard some knocking. I pulled over to see what it was but couldn't see anything. I started the car back up and once again it was there but worse. I stayed in the parking lot of Buccee's to assess what was wrong. Once again nothing. I started it back up and was driving slow, maybe ten miles an hour. My car started not just knocking but wobbling. I immediately parked and say my back left tire was shifted as if it were a front tire about to make a turn. I then noticed that 3 of my lugnuts had fallen off. I back tracked on foot and found my lugnuts in the parking lot thank god. I jacked up my tire and was able to remove the only lugnut still on with my bare hand. I put it back on and checked all other tires which seemed to be fine and drove home quiet to listen for noise but there was no more and made it home safely. I can only think that that one tire was not fully tightened when they gave my car back to me. This is not only negligent but dangerous. Luckily I pulled over or it would have fell completely off while doing 70 mph on the highway! I'm usually not one to complain but this scared the crap out of me should be looked into. Luckily I was able to get home safe but the next person might not. Also I just hope it didn't cause any damage to my car as well...

Gentle man by the name of Michael has no business opinion of his vision of a vehicle.. there was no need for his comments over the appearance of my vehicle that is being repaired .. but one good thing is that life is a circle so what you spit up must come down.. gotta Love karma .

I trust my car to the Firestone team. They are fast, courteous, and explain everything. They don't offer "add-ons" or try to upsell me - but they do tell me what to expect in the future (I will probably need to get new tires in about another 20K miles, or I might need an air filter next oil change, etc. ) And most of all, they are respectful and don't treat me like a woman who does not know what is happening. I give them 5 stars + Thanks, DFH

Vehicle Inspection revealed both license plate lamps were out...told me $14.99 to repair...when leaving the store, I checked and found only 1 had been replaced for $14.99 and when I inquired, I was told that price was PER BULB...ridiculous...and that I only had to have one working...I got another from auto parts store for a couple of bucks, took me 3 minutes to replace.

My husband, Mark, trusted Firestone for our automotive needs. When my car had a problem, he would say, "Take it to Firestone. They will take care of you." Mark passed away suddenly in January of this year. My son brought my car in for inspection and oil change earlier this year. Yesterday was the first time I had been back in since Mark died. I stopped in for new windshield wipers and because my "low tire" light had come on. As I went through the poignant process of changing my account information to my name and contact info and told them what I needed, the service advisor said, "We'll take care of you, Mrs. Hendricks." Most likely, that is a comment he says fifty times a day. But those words meant a lot to me. Mark was right. And I appreciate you.

The sales staff was exceptional. Very attentive although very busy. One customer was on the cusp of loosing his cool when he interrupted the sales person (David) while helping another customer. David didn't miss a beat. He helped his current customer while responding to the rude customer. He kept his cool and calmed the impatient customer without missing a beat. It took some time to get set up to leave my car, but it was just circumstances of a busy morning and not the fault of the staff. The staff worked swiftly to get everyone in and out of the shop.

There was one of your team members by the name of Drew, was very helpful by calling me with updates on my vehicle. He explained everything that needed to be done and how long roughly it would take. Drew is the perfect example on how customer service should be done.

Jason did a great job of taking care of a problem created by another store. This store went above and beyond expectations to ensure the problem was resolved without any additional expense. I greatly appreciated the time and attention they took to resolve the problem even though they had nothing to do with creating it. I greatly value this kind of service!

John Paul found the tires I was looking for in San Antonio and had them brought to SM same day. They were in my price range and never tried to sell me anything I didn't want or need. He was very friendly and professional. This is the second car that I've taken to this location and both were pleasant experiences. We will refinery use them again.

This was my first time taking my car anywhere other than my dad's garage. I had a great experience considering how embarrassed I was that I had recently had an interlock device installed in the car. The gentleman that helped me made the experience quick and easy even with the interlock device. I was in and out and on my way to work 30 minutes sooner than expected.

Great experience as always. Made an appointment. Car went straight in when I arrived. I was back on the road under 45 minutes. The sales associate explained the invoice in detail and recommended service for my next visit. Been to other Firestone locations which have been hit or miss, but I am always impressed with the San Marcos location.

I was in a huge rut due to the lack of professional experience and integrity of discount tires. My life was put in danger because of how lazy and uncurtious attitude of some of the individual's that work for that company. Im a wounded veteran bound to a wheel chair, I don't expect people to treat me different do to my situation but at least I expect people to do their job, to the best of their abilities. I was desperately searching for a wheel shop to help me rotate my custom rims. Since the rims are custom I can't stress enough how much the need for an experienced professional is needed when working on my car. Well this is where Firestone comes in play. Thank to a great team of curtious and friendly staff I felt no need to worry about my car being in the wrong hands. My tires were rotated and I had an alignment done as well as a flat tire fix in a matter of less than an hour. I was treated with respect and dignity as well as being offered beverages and entertainment. I was updated on a constant basis about the status of my car. I wasn't offered stuff that I had no need in purchasing just so they can make an extra buck, plus I recommend future customers to check their season discounts. I ended up saving almost 1/3 the total price of my whole service. Honestly with much respect and gratitude. Thank you Firestone in San Marcos TX

The guys at the San Marcos store are honest and don't use high pressure tactics. It is nice having a place I can send my wife and end with a $300 oil change. I actually thought I needed brakes and tires and they recommended not at that time. They won my business! I take both our vehicles there now. Service is great, honest and usually in a timely manner. Sometimes they are swamped but I understand why.

My only complaint is that 3 of my center wheel caps were broken. The tech recommended ebay for replacements. I found them at $25 each. I did not purchase them. I spent $984 on tires and another $75 on center caps?

I started using Firestone Complete Auto Care when I lived in another city. I liked the service so much, I found another Firestone Complete Auto Care after I moved. In an era when customer service and quality of service is legendarily poor, Firestone is a breath of fresh air. That's why I haven't been anywhere else in at least 15 years.

I always appreciate walking into the store and being greeted by my first name. The whole crew is very professional and they will drive me to work if I need to drop off the vehicle for a day. I always feel comfortable asking questions about any automotive issue no matter how small. They will provide an honest opinion and will not attempt to fix anything outside their expertise. However, I have found that most of the time they can help me get back up and running right away or improve upon my vehicle maintenance. I try to maintain my vehicle in tip-top condition and find that the crew at Firestone knocks it out every time.

i use them for a lot of my vehicles. They have fair pricing and usually fast service. The only reason I have encountered so far for delays is that they are so busy because so many people use them! And, even with a full house, they do a pretty good job of getting folks' vehicles in and out in a timely manner.
