I brought my SUV in for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection. I was told it was overdue for a brake fluid flush, and I authorized the work. After almost 1 hour of waiting and seeing no one working on it, I told an advisor I needed to leave for work soon. They brought it in, raised it, and changed the oil. From where I was I could see no work had been done on the brakes. (I don't even know for certain that the tires were rotated,) I then saw the mechanic TOP OFF the brake fluid, and complete the oil change. That might at home I checked the brake fluid reservoir, and found the fluid to be the color of iced tea. We then checked the drain valves, and not one of them had been touched. Nothing in any of the 4 wheel areas had been disturbed. I knew without a doubt that the brakeshad not been flushed. I called the store the next state to report it, and was told to bring the car in for an inspection. When I took it in, I reported the color of the brake fluid, and showed the service advisor one of the pictures I took of the flush valves, and he agreed that they had not been touched. Although he refunded me, his comment ("you're not the only one") when I expressed my disappointment was as concerning as their charging for a service that was not performed. It's almost as if he was not surprised. So is this the norm? I really don't know that I will ever return to this store, and when I expressed so, the service advisor replied with "I don't blame you". WOW!

Easy to make an appointment online. Welcomed as soon as the store opened at 7 am on Saturday. The service advisor and technician quickly got things going, assessed what my vehicle needed (I brought it in to have the front brakes worked on), and showed me 2 other areas that clearly needed to be addressed in order to pass the annual inspection. All the work was done quickly, efficiently, on time according to their estimate, and done right the first time. The service advisor also worked hard to make sure any discounts available to me (retired military) were applied to the total bill. We only have our vehicles repaired at Firestone, and this store in particular. Definitely earns 5 stars from us.

I made my appt on the firestone app and when I came and presented my appt to the cashier and it didn't carry over to the store computer. Je quickly confronted his supervisor and I had no problem with the Firestone on Culebra Rd. I was treated with respect and I will make that facility my go to store. My daughter's has going there for years.

My car recently less than 2 weeks had a ton of work including new Tires! I had Issues Monday July 23 and then faulty tire extremely scary event while driving up home Saturday July 28 a rather extensive trip...sadly Texas is just massive lol. Firestone took full responsibility and went above and beyond to make sure we were safely able to get back to San Antonio! Caitlyn was on the ball and got me setup with a Waco Location pronto for a temp tire! Brandon and Mike called to assure they would fix this situation. The manager Andrew even called and assured my family and I he would take care of everything. They got me in a rental car when I got back to SA and combed over my car to make sure my daughter and I are safe on the road. I want all the employees at the location to know how important their jobs are and to never take it lightly they hold everyone's lives in their skilled hands. A mechanic is an angel's job vehicles are dangerous enough as it is much less when they age and need work. They are protecting lives just like firefighters, you guys are keeping mothers, aunts, daughters, fathers, uncles, dads, brothers, and precious children safe!!!! Many blessings to you all!!!!

Brandon went above and beyond in helping us. Us because I am all alone in San Antonio and my mother was thousands miles away he explained everything over the phone and even helped make sure our payment went smoothly! The courteousness of all of the staff was refreshing for any establishment in today's rushed atmosphere. So I usually really like this firestone I’ve been going since I moved from Baltimore in July. The past two (well 3 including today) times they overfilled my back tires, last time I went I asked again for them to fill to the sticker specs on the door and they again overfilled my back tires. I went again today for an oil change and when I dropped it off I specifically said manufacturer specs for my car is 35 psi front and 30 psi back, they tried to tell me it was the heat and they followed that (they didn’t all tires were 35, which was confirmed later when I picked up my car this time). When I returned to pick up my car they were all 35 again... the clerk told me her mechanic said the sticker said 35 front and 35 rear, I had to physically walk to my car with her to show her it actually in reality says 35 psi front 30 psi rear... while the mechanic was not happy about that and mumbled something about that not making sense he did fix my back tires... usually my service here is very good despite this issue I’ve had the past several times. I didn’t appreciate how I was treated, like I didn’t know what my specs were and that I was wrong. I will reconsider coming here again for my next oil change - even though it’s the closest Firestone.

Great management team, Andrew, Mike, Paul...I'm grateful for all of their continued assistance on both of my vehicles. True dedication in helping customers, whatever it takes. One or two employees could use some training in dealing with customers, but I'm confident the current leadership at Firestone will overcome.

Shout out to service advisor, Michael. He listened to my concerns when I told him what was going on even though the problem was intermittent. He let me know that he would want to keep my vehicle for a few hours to be able to replicate the issue. That let me know he was caring enough to my concerns to not just shoo me out the door because the problem was not happening at that time. I asked him about a few other issues I had with my car and he advised me on the most cost efficient way to have the work done that I needed. He was very knowledgeable and let me know we were going to find the issue. Once the issue was resolved, he broke down to me what the problem was and why it was happening. I am very thankful for the service provided that didn't cost me an arm and leg at the dealership. Thanks for helping me pin point the problem. Michael. I will definitely be back to this store for future services needed on my Jeep.

I cannot adequately express my appreciation for everyone who assisted me, especially Jay. The tires I ordered when I made my appointment online were actually not in stock. I explained to Jay I had to be at work in 2 hours; he took it upon himself to drive to another store that had those tires, and brought them back. The technicians moved fast and efficiently, and I made it to work on time. They were always professional and courteous, and kept me posted on the progress off the work. I highly recommend this store!

We have recently brought my 2004 Chrysler 300M Special in for repair. While we am not thrilled to be spending money repairing our 13 year old vehicle and we don't know anyone else who would be, we am thankful that the professionals at Firestone fix it right the first time. We've been to other shops in the past where you have to deal with a problem multiple times before you are satisfied but not here. Even the local MOPAR dealers have let us down many times and they are the so-called experts! You can't go wrong bringing your vehicle here. We will definitely be back.

Very upset that my husband and I came in to get our tires balanced and rotated because we were traveling from San Antonio to Dallas to visit family and friends. We got on the road to go home realized that the car was shaking really bad thought maybe a weight came a loose we just said okay we will get have them fix it when we get to Dallas. Looked at the receipt and it stated that the rr tire separated. The guy that took our money for our service did not let us know that we had a bad tire because we have a full size spare that we would of had them replace and balance and rotate. I will NEVER return to this location.

I went into the store just to get my tires aired up but also needed an inspection. I was able get everything done in less than 15 minutes (including the paperwork and paying for the service). I was in a real hurry that morning and this helped immensely! I shouldn't have been surprised because this is my favorite Firestone! Always great service (over the last 5 years)!

I am a long time customer from Firestone on Babcock Rd. and very satisfied with them! We moved and I used for the first time Firestone on Culebra Rd. It was a nightmare! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change for 11:00am. I arrived on time, but was told, that it will take 1 & 1/2 hours! I never waited this long with an oil change! For what making appointments? Than the Jung man wanted to sell me a new battery. I told him that my battery was put in only 3 years ago from Firestone. He checked it out on his computer and I was right! To tell me that there was NO OIL in my car is wrong too. I don't have any oil spots in my garage and when my husband checked it 2 weeks ago, it was fine!!! I love my car and take very good care of it!!! Just because I am a 70 year old handicapped Lady with a strong German accent, don't give them the right to treat me like this! I left there with the impression that the employees in this store a dishonest and liars!

I did not like it........ I went to replace a tire that had a screw in it. I was charged a firm price for a new tire with warranty. A couple weeks later I returned for yet another screw in a different tire and I was charged with a higher price for a new tire that was the same brand as the last one. I asked why this tire cost more than the first. He replied with "we do have a cheaper one(It was $10.00 cheaper than the first one)". So I bought it assuming it had the same warranty as the first. After making the purchase he handed me the receipt and said this one does not have any warranty. I was already flustered cause we waited there for about 5 HOURS for a tire change. There wasn't even that many people there for it to even take 30 minutes...... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION......

I needed to get my battery replaced, and they were able to get my car in immediately and replace it. While Paul the advisor was writing up my ticket, the mechanics were pulling my car in and replacing the battery. I could not ask for better service anywhere. I have been taking all my cars to this location on Culebra since I moved here in 2008, and Andrew the manager is always very professional and treats me as a well respected customer. I know very little about cars, and Andrew and his advisors always give me a fair price, and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of. They always treat my wife with the best courtesy and respect as well. I could not be more pleased with their service, fair price and respect for their customers. I will continue to take my cars there and highly recommend them to anyone.

This was my third visit to Firestone for my car. First visit I had one headlight out, and I paid them to replace both. After a few months other headlight went out. It was suspicious to me and I told them. They checked electrical wiring and replaced headlight free of charge since they didn't do it the first time. The last visit my fan on Traverse was running longer than usual when car was off, and temperature had climbed when stopped in traffic. They charged me $837.95 to replace my water pump, thermostat and do a coolant flush in did it all in two hours when they said it would take 4. I don't think they even replaced the water pump or did the flush. I'm furious because we work hard for our money and we paid $523 for labor alone to get taken advantage of by them. I'm going to call corporate and put a bad review on Google to warn other people. It's a shame they would do people like that and act like common crooks. When I asked if they put all the stuff on in two hours they assured me but when I got home my husband said no way they could could do the job in two hours. I am hurt and very disappointed we got cheated out of our money, yet again.

I had a great experience during my visit to Culebra Firestone Auto Shop. I was greeted with courtesy and gracefulness. They explained in detail the job to be done. They kept me informed on the status of my vehicle and let me know the waiting time. Everything was done to my satisfaction and the complete job was explain in detail to make sure I understood exactly what was done. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

took the vehicle in for new tires, new brakes, and oil change. the tires were not in stock so I could only buy two. the oil change was fine except no return mileage sticker was placed on the vehicle. the brakes were ordered for the wrong year of the vehicle after me reassuring the staff of the vehicle year countless times. the work took two days to complete instead of the 2 hours told to me in the beginning.

I have been a loyal Firestore customer since my first car in 1982 and loyal to store since 2009 and this is the by far the best store and team I've ever used. On my most recent visit the I needed some additional work getting my 2000 Jeep's A/C system working again. While replacing the evaporator core the Store Manager went ahead and replaced the heater core since it was pretty much the last old part needing replaced on the old system. I was pleasantly surprised that he gave it to me at a greatly discounted price since I hadn't approved the work. They could have easily waited for the part to break and charged me the full price for the part and more labor but that store doesn't work this way. They truly care about the customer and the care and safety of your vehicle.

Made an appointment at the 10635 Culebra Rd Store for 9:30am, got there at 9:15 and didnt get seen till around 9:45. I was hoping to bring in my other 2 vehicles for service but by 2:11 PM I still was waiting for a phone call to see if it was finished or if in needed anything. I guess appointments are useless so its first come first serve and have to hope that you get it done in a timely manner. I was a previous employee so I had high expectations and I was let down.

They removed my wheels to balance them and lost one of my wheel locks. Then they typed that one was missing when I brought my car in to them. I had my paperwork ftom the last time I brought in my car. The wheel lock was there.

I went to your store to get a wheel alignment and tire rotation and balance. The 1st time I went they kept my truck all day until I called them adn they said that they couldn't get it done. I was extremly upset that they kept my truck and didn't call me to come pick it up since they couldn't work on it that day. That is very poor service, at least tell me so I don't sit around waiting and come to find out that you can't even work on my truck. Don't just say you can do it just to get my business. Secondly, when I got my alignment done my steering wheel wasn't centered and it's still pulling to the left. I don't understand why if i'm gettting an alignment why my sterrring wheel isn't centered. If its supposed to be at factory settings. I'm sure that when a car comes from the factory that the alignment is spot on and the steering wheel is centered, I shouldn't have to turn my steering wheel to the left for my car to go straight. Last thing is that when I got my truck back the guy didn't explain anything to me, he just handed me my papers in a hurry as he was ready to go home for the night. Where is the customer service in that? The tech usually explains what he did and everything. I don't think he did all I paid for. This was the worst experience I've ever had with firestone. I will be looking for other places to get my truck serviced if this continues.

We frequently use Firestone to change the oil in our cars, as well as for tires. We like the availability of coupons and the ability to schedule online. My 2007 Ford Focus oil was changed by Firestone on 10/10/14 and again on January 16, 2015. However, in January when I checked out, included with my total was a diagnosis of a stripped oil pan drain plug and an estimated cost of repair of $550.99. When we questioned how the stripped threads might have happened, the manager quickly agreed to provide the labor so that our only cost would be the oil pan (a bit over $200). I also noticed when driving home that the sticker (mileage) was not on my windshield. Perhaps the mechanic was new, or perhaps Firestone wanted to distance themselves from the labor done in case the plug dislodged and came out, causing a ruined engine. We had some concern about the diagnosis, as well as the need to actually replace the entire oil pan. One thing of which we were certain: we were not to blame, nor had the threads simply "worn out". Calls to several experts confirmed this. In the end, we took it to our mechanic and an oversized drain plug was installed....a repair needed for damage certainly caused on January 16, which totaled $156.23. We are very disappointed with our entire experience and the inability of the Firestone station to claim responsibility for the damage.

EVER SINCE I MOVED TO SAN ANTONIO SEPT 2012...I'VE USED THIS FIRESTONE FOR MY VEHICLE SERVICE......THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH AND DON'T MIND ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS.......EVEN THOUGH I'VER MOVED OVER TO THE NORTH SIDE, I'LL STILL BRING MY VEHICLE BACK TO THIS LOCATION THE NEXT TIME IT NEEDS SERVICE......

Oil pan bolt was mangled and caused oil leak. Also was missing the washer which is what caused more of a leak. This was a major pain and caused a lot of issues. Which is a shame because we initially would always take our vehicles to Firestone. This experience really dampened our day. Since, we have not gone back.
