    Want to be treated like a celebrity? Awesome staff and excellent service. Went in for simple oil change and was so pleased to have been told they inspected the entire vehicle, topped off the fluids, aired my tires and let me know the condition of my vehicle. And surprisingly, I was told my car was is great shape. I've been to quite a few places that always seemed to locate something wrong with my car that needed to be "taken care of soon". Thank you for being honest, professional and friendly.

    The customer service was beyond excellent but I was there for 3 hours because they didn't have the tires on hand so they had to go get them which took 2.5 hours then the time to put the tires on and get the oil and filter changed. Firestone also doesn't offer free alignments when you buy 4 new tires. They check everything for you and will tell you if it's off but it costs $80-ish to get it corrected. The customer service was so great it ALMOST made up for being there 3 hours.

    I had an unfortunate road hazard experience so I was pretty upset. Willie helped me get the tires I needed to remedy the tire damage problems. Willie was very knowledgeable about what my car needed and assisted me courteously throughout the day. I was most impressed that everyone worked well together and there was a calmness about the atmosphere. I really appreciated the timely manner in which the guys finished my car and had me on my way home. Thanks especially to Willie, but also thanks to Matt and Adam.

    I've been to 3 different Firestone centers and many other places and this is by far the best experence I have ever had. They were very nice and professional. They were mindful of my time although I dropped my car off for routine service they did not take advantage of that and had my car done in a timely manner. Other places were either so busy or didn't get around to my car until late in the day and had my car the entire day. I really appropriate the way the staff treated me and the excellent work they did.

    The guys at this Firestone I have known for a long time. They make car care easy, and they are fun to chat with. They listen, and they are willing to give good information so I can make the right decisions about my vehicle. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else.

    I rarely let anyone else perform maintenance on my vehicle - unless it is something I simply cannot do. An alignment falls into that category. I purchased the lifetime alignment at the Eldorado store when I purchased $1400 worth of tires. Recently, the alignment machine was broken at the Eldorado store so I scheduled one at the north central expressway store. I took my truck in at lunchtime (12pm) and asked that it be done by 5pm as we had another appointment to make after picking the truck up. Arriving at 5pm, I was told that the truck was not done - I had to wait another hour. Once the truck was done, I asked for the spec sheet on my alignment. After reviewing the spec sheet, several parameters were way out of spec. When questioned about the discrepancy, I was told by both the tech writer and the technician that they could not align my truck due to cracked sway bar bushings. Really? How stupid do you guys think I am? Might as well have told me my muffler bearings were going out as well. Sway bar bushings have absolutely no bearing on how precise (or in this case, the inverse) an alignment is. My steering wheel was 15 degrees counterclockwise while going straight down the road, and I had tire scrub when I pulled out of the parking lot. I am very busy, so it took another month to get back to the ONLY STORE I TRUST - the Eldorado branch of Firestone - to get a proper alignment. I shudder to think how much money was chewed off my tires driving my truck for a month like that. I will not be returning to the north central expressway branch of Firestone for anything in the future.

    They fit me into their schedule and I had what I needed within a few hours. Did not have to wait until things were ordered as with the previous dealership. The staff was congenial and efficient. They handled everything in a timely manner.

    Made appt week in advance, arrived 15 min early, after 45min from appt time, asked mgr for status...he said svc mgr refused to put std oil change ($20 with coupon) due to Ford requiring blend oil, and I only wanted 5 qts for a 5.7 crankcase...I carefully explained when making appt with tire mgr, Shon, and again with Mr. Florida who wrote the ticket, that I had in the car, .7 qt of synthetic oil to top off my 5 qt change. they both finally got svc mgr to do this, BUT, he only put in 4.7 qt of std oil, per his info on ticket...also, I do not believe that the rear tires were balanced...I witnessed two techs take the front tires off, bal them and put them back on the front ! I called their attn. to this, but they claimed that the back tires were already balanced. Have you EVER heard of taking lugs off, rotating the tires front to back, and then taking back tires off and bal, then put on back, then go to front and take them off and bal and then put them back on the front?? Never in 50 yrs have I seen or heard of such. I did witness them take front tires off and put back on the front after balancing them. all this took 2hrs from my arrival at the store. for 2 yrs with 3 veh. I have had perfect, timely svc at this store. to his credit and understanding of my feelings, mr florida waived the cost of this visit I would have been perfectly happy to pay my $25, for std oil change with coupon, have tires bal and rotated per my lifetime purchase, and been in and out in an hour. you would have received a perfect score from me as in all previous visits..if you keep the same svc mgr.. I doubt you'll have any more business from me. TJM

    Because the concept of starting a lug nut by hand on the stud BEFORE using the impact wrench to tighten the nut is too advanced for the "technicians" to either grasp or care about; I have had the opportunity to spend more of my money and time to replace 3 out of the 5 lug nuts and studs these twits touched to "do" their job. The only reason I chose this place was they had the cheapest tire prices for my vehicle in the area, but now after suffering first hand from their wheel mounting skills I will go somewhere else and take advantage of the price matching offered by just about any other major tire shop in the nation. Keep it up firestone, it's not like your rep has been that great since the late 90's anyway.

    Went in for a battery replacement and they went through 3 different batteries trying to cram one in the 2008 Impala SS. After spilling battery acid all over and removing the big terminal fuse block (which does not need to be removed) trying to fit the wrong batteries in the small space. Now I have changed the battery once myself and it does require that the battery be turned up 90o to fit in the space. The right way is to remove the tie-down hardware (which is not easy) and get the right size sealed battery. After they pulled up the monster fuse block with half of the wiring in the car, I have some new problems. The heater quit working and the radio and clock quit as well. So I'm trying to discover what got pulled, disconnected or something! Haven't got it all figured out yet. One thing for sure you will never get a battery replacement from me again. The sales staff were just fine. The mechanics really didn't take the time to study the problem before throwing brute force at it, trying to work too fast! I'm not sure it is even the right battery! I don't think any of them had ever changed a battery in a 5.3L SS.

    Firestone knows that I travel & sometimes I am only in town 1 week of the month & they get my van & my personal vehicle in & taken care of. Give me a report of any other items that need taken care of in the future. They remember me everytime I come in there. Prices are average for area, I would not taken any place, as they know my vehicles

    Well I've gotten 3 emails asking for my feed back.. Don't think you're going to do anything but I didn't enjoy my experience very much. At first everyone was very nice and friendly but at the end of my visit with Firestone an employee attempted to pressure me into more services than what I had needed at the time and that were much more than I can afford also most were unnecessary. I attempted to say no not today several different ways. He continued to pressure me changing prices and such. And he nearly made me late to get my son from school as I stood there for roughly 15 minutes or more trying to say no I'll wait. To be honest I would have gone back to this location for what I do need if not for this persons persistence in trying to get my money and attempting to make me feel stupid and treating me as such because I'm a female so I must not know. Just because I'm girl doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars and doesn't mean I can be pressured into unnecessary services.. In my opinion this was unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be returning to that location again. I had just had my car in the shop and many things were repaired and replaced. I do need new tires and a tire rotation but I'll be going else where to get this done because I do not want to be treated this way again. Thank you but no thank you. There's a line you cross in business ethics when you continue to make some one uncomfortable after they've already said no.

    Took two weeks to complete basic work. Some of the delay may have been related to insurance adjuster. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the glove box was emptied on my passenger seat and the battery was dead. Both of these are unacceptable and unprofessional. The initial invoice on drop-off said the battery was fine, but yet on pick-up, the battery was dead and they refused to accept responsibility. I do not believe in coincidences. I would prefer them concentrating on the insurance work and not looking for other chargeable work, which they did. Because I had not had my truck for 5 weeks, I chose to let them perform the work, instead of doing it myself. My service manager did keep me in the loop and gave me the option to not perform the work, but 5 weeks without my vehicle was long enough. In addition, the ABS sensor cable and the vacuum hoses going to the hub assembly were not routed properly after the front end work. I had to re-route the hoses so they did not twist, rub, or break.

    I have been going to Firestone for about 7 years now and followed Eddie to his new store because of his customer serivce, back in the begining. The one thing that I would love to see change is the maintenance historys, going forward. For example: Everytime I go in for service, based on mileage, not past service entries, it is recommended to service something that I had done just weeks ago or that isnt needed for another 3,000 miles or more.     I week ago I had my car towed there because it simply did not start. It wasn't the battery I still had lights and door chimes going off, but it simply wouldn't start. They were unable to figure out what was wrong. They said " We think its the fuel pump" We think doesn't cut it when they are suppose to be the experts and want to charge over $1000 on " WE Think" No way! And what if it wasn't that , then what I would be out of a $1000 bucks and still no car starting! So we decided not to have them do the job, so I go after work and get somethings out of my car and what ever they took apart to look at was still not put back together, the trunk was a mess with things hanging out of the inside panels etc.. They have been great on oils changes, changing tires and fixing a flat but car problems, I think they don't have experienced tech to fix something like this.If they couldn't fix it they should have been honest about it and said no we have no idea and can't fix your car, instead of trying to get my money and say " WE think its the fuel pump" but couldn't tell us for sure. Didn't appreciate them taking a look and leaving a mess in my car. Very sad to say my car is till not working and I still had to pay $70 just to have them tell me nothing.

    In April of 2015, I need an alignment done on my 2008 Chevy 2500HD 4WD. I purchased the lifetime warranty and two new tires. Great experience. HERE IS THE GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT GUYS part though...I did some front end work (control arms, ball joints, bushings) and of course it needed an alignment. They completed the service, I drove off the lot and noticed right away it was diving to the right. Took it back the next day, they realigned it. It was better but still pulled. Today, I took it in again and I am here to tell you that the reps in the front; Eddie, the manager, and the other mechanic THOROUGHLY worked that truck to make certain it was corrected. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT. Customer for life.

    I just recently quit here, the N. McKinney Firestone. Because of, the respect I didn't get. The techs there would talk mess about the other side of the shop. when I was asked to do something it was really polite, only people that was polite about it was the boss, other GS and 2 techs. The work place; when the regional manager was close to being. At the shop the boss or general service manager would yell out, "put your safety glasses on," as if we are suppose to be wearing the daily. Well, we didn't only when someone important would come. Over all, shop is well kept up, organized and cleaned.

    I cannot say enough about the staff at the McKinney Firestone. I am a first time tire purchase customer, and my experience was so beyond any of my expectations, I am still smiling every time I drive my car.     I took my car in for an A/C diagnostic and was charged $80 for the diagnostic which hooks up a recovery/recharge machine to the car. They unhooked the car from the machine and called to tell me it was 12 oz low on R134a. I was then charged another $80 to hook the recovery/recharge machine back onto my car to add $30 in R134a to my system. In the end, over $200 and a/c still blows warm (74 Degrees). They were kind enough to notice almost $3000 worth of other things wrong with my car not having anything to do with the A/C. I wish they just would have focused on my actual problem and fixed it.

    I got an oil change and they were upfront about the price. They also gave me a $10 off coupon to use and rotated my tires I bought from them a few months back. They are very polite and helpful. I appreciate the quality of their service. Also, they are right near Target so I got to eat lunch and pick up a few things while waiting.

    We recently moved from the Rockwall area and had used the Rockwall Firestone location for years. We were always pleased with the service we received there so it was a no brainer when we moved to Mckinney to check out the Mckinney Firestone location. I brought my car in the morning of 4/28/2015 because my brakes were grinding. I went home and within the hour I had a call back from a service advisor detailing what needed to be done. He also recommended service that I knew needed to be done but had been putting off. I approved the work after we discussed what needed to be done to make the car safe and dependable. I got another call four hours later saying the car was ready to be picked up. Needless to say I was not expecting my car to be done so quickly, but was very pleased that I did not have to be without a car for long. In closing just want to say how nice the guys are at this shop and that we have been very pleased with the service they have done for us and how we have been treated by the staff. We highly recommend them.

    I brought van in to get checked out and aligned if necessary before a trip. I waited for 1.5 hours in the waiting room, while 3 or so customers came in and left while I was there. Finally it was done and they tried to charge me after they said it would be no charge on the phone, I have the lifetime alignment. They went by what they told me on the phone and didn't charge me. When I went to my van the battery was dead and wouldn't start (about 1 year old). So, I went and got a tech and he confirmed and then jumped it and I left. A long and strange visit.

    I was told I needed struts so I called up a trusted friend and mechanic who owns a well known shop & he checked it out. It not only didn't need the work, but the service rep who I dealt with had also told me I may have a coolant leak and offered a dye test for $45 to check and stated it was too risky to pressurize the system for fear something could crack. No leak was found by my friend or his other Mechanics. I'm frustrated. I have had prior dealings with this shop and was happy with the service and tires I had purchased at that time, but I am very disappointed in how I was treated this visit.

    My new teen driver had been hit (no injuries), but she was still a basket case. My wife was critically distracted by family and work issues. I was away on travel. The team at Firestone McKinney took the time to calm my daughter, meet my wife's immediate questions, and keep me in the loop while I was away. That's a great group, well supported and led. I got the technical breakdown of the required repairs and was supremely confident my girls were being professionally cared for.
