    Place is garbage. Not friendly at all in person or on phone. Dropped off car to have inspection done around 1pm and they never called when it was ready. When we called 15 minutes before the posted closing time(7pm) , the machine said we’ve reached them after hours. Drove over there to get car with spare set of keys but it was locked up inside. Luckily an employee was still cleaning up and got the car out for us. He was barely apologetic. Never going back to that garbage place.

    Your store Manager Don is a great person and always does the best by the customers. His staff is also great they always let you know what you need to be prepared to fix next so it is not an emergency fix and you are on top of your repairs. Honest people to deal with ones that you can put your trust into. Kiddo's to Don and his staff for giving the people in Kyle a place to take their cars and know it will be fixed or he will redo it for you.

    My "home" Firestone for the past 8 years was in Bastrop, TX. "Big Brian" was their tech supervisor and could diagnose our issues just by listening to our vehicles as we drove up (practically!). He was the primary reason no other auto care facility touched our vehicles. We moved too far to keep running back to Bastrop, and finding another Firestone that we trusted with our vehicles was hard...until Walker! Walker is the service care manager at the Kyle, TX Firestone and he is the only reason that location has won my loyalty. In an all-male auto care facility, it is extremely difficult for any female to find someone there with the patience and kindness to "listen" as one with very limited or no auto "language" tries to explain what is happening with their vehicle without testing the patience of the listener. Seriously! I find most males in the auto industry tend to lose patience and have cut me off in mid-sentence, which is so rude and will set me off to the point I'll turn and walk out of that establishment, never to return. Walker does NOT treat anyone, male or female, that doesn't have a "working" knowledge of autos with this kind of disrespect. He's very, very patient and does his best to help figure out what the issue is so they can get started on the solution. Coming from Bastrop's Firestone, I'm used to a VERY friendly customer service AND tech department. In a larger city environment, that is a hard thing to find. I'm so very, very glad Walker is at the Kyle location because when he's not there, adequate folks step in but it is not with the level of personal attention, care of friendliness as that of Walker, in MY opinion. Kyle has a good one with that young man!

    I come from almost 10 years customer loyalty to the Bastrop Firestone but when I moved to Kyle, running to Bastrop for my car care needs was a bit much. My very first experience at the Kyle Firestone wasn't pleasant at all, and I thought I'd NEVER go back. That was until they put this wonderful young man at the front to take care of the customers. Please meet the awesome, WALKER! Walker is the most friendly person with such a positive attitude, and he treats everyone with such respect. The rest of the guys over there kinda walk around with frowns on their faces, but not Walker. Walker LISTENS to you instead of trying to talk over you, which women HATE when other customer service reps or mechanics do that. Just listen, guys, really! Then you can diagnose but we want you to listen to us. Walker is patient, does his best to give you the best estimated time for the wait and repairs, and then does what he can to give you credit for any unused part or warranty. If Kyle Firestone ever sends Walker to another location, I'll have to follow him!!! WALKER IS THE FACE OF KYLE FIRESTONE, in my opinion! Make sure you keep him happy because Walker makes Kyle customers happy!

    When I arrived for my appointment to complete a front end alignment I observed a service rep looking frantically for a customer’s key to move the vehicle. I also noticed a line of parked vehicles north of the service area. Once I left my car prior to 10am (time of appointment) I was a little unsettled as the store was somewhat chaotic. I waited for a call but never received one. As 2 pm arrived I decided to call and check on the progress of my vehicle. The rep who answered replied the car had not been serviced yet. I was placed on hold then I was told the manager said my car would be placed in the service area immediately. Amidst all the confusion, within 30 minutes I received a call stating the car was ready for pick up. I eagerly arrived to pick up my vehicle but left with an unpleasant feeling of whether or not the services were performed at all. Other than several attempts to sell me the lifetime alignment more than doubling the cost, the staff appeared confused and overwhelmed. I was not pleased with the level of customer service and lacked confidence in the quality of service.

    I give this location a three star instead of 2-1/2 because of Walker. If it weren't for this gentleman, the Kyle location would not even be on my radar to frequent. I have only dealt with the Bastrop Firestone for the last 9 years so I'm used to having a friendly place to walk into where they make it top priority to greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. Bastrop Firestone's normal service is to go the extra mile and do a quick vac and wipe down anything their technicians may have touched to ensure they did not leave grease or chemicals on the steering wheel, gear shift, mats, dash or seat. Being a woman who works in an office and wears office attire, I REALLY appreciate that! Now, let's compare with Kyle Firestone... Kyle Firestone's personnel doesn't greet you with a warm, friendly smile I've been there 3 times and ONLY Walker is friendly. He did some training over in the Bastrop Firestone. GOOD CALL! Walker explained everything in wonderful detail and down to the penny for what repairs I needed. I brought my car in 2 hours before closing on Sunday afternoon for brake issues. The estimated time to repair was what Walker said. No issues with Walker at all. He was GREAT! The rest of the staff needs to be trained in getting those frowns off their faces and have a "service" attitude instead of making the customers feel like we're intruding on their day when we walk in the door. People's faces look like their mad all the time. I don't like that feeling! I get my car back, climb into the driver's seat and was disappointed to find the Kyle Firestone doesn't go that extra mile to do a quick vac and wipe down the areas Bastrop Firestone always took care of. I didn't think much more about it until I got into the car this morning with a white skirt. There was apparently some grease from the mechanic's hands that were left on my steering wheel and it got onto my white skirt. Not cool. New skirt with a grease stain. Argh! So, to get the BEST customer service I must travel to Bastrop Firestone. Kyle Firestone is MUCH better than the SouthPark Meadows Firestone by a long shot but still, why can't they all be like Bastrop Firestone and just be better? Customers work very hard for their money and nobody likes having to repair their vehicles. If I could do it myself, I would. But I can't, and I must rely on good people that will partner with me to help me keep my wonderful 4Runner running until I reach my goal of 500,000 miles! I'm at 310,000 and I knew I could rely on the Bastrop Firestone for my car care. I'm not sure about Kyle Firestone but I'm willing to give them a 4th try before I close the book on that location. I believe they have the skilled personnel they need but they need to go through some better training!

    I had my truck in for tire maintenance and an oil change. I was called and told the vehicle was ready. I was told upfront that one of the center cap was broken by accident and that a new one had been ordered. I now have a new center hub cap. You have a good business with honest and respectful mechanics. I will continue to entrust my vehicles to you when it is time for maintenance. Thank You, Rob Pursley

    These are the most honest people anyone could deal with. They always make sure that you are aware of what you need to have done in a period of time frames and they do not rob you in cost for their service. Love the people who work at this store they are all so helpful to everyone.

    I prefer to go to Firestone for oil changes. While not as "cheap" as Walmart, not as expensive as other places. More importantly, I don't get the sales push for "by the way, you need...." that alot of places do. I don't see that happen to others either. The only time (in multiple visists) that I have been told I need something else was this past Saturday when they said I needed tires. I already knew that, it was a matter of $$. The staff was patient while I texted my husband, checked finances and changed my mind multiple times....we ended up buying the tires and the car is driving so much better.

    I was under the impression when bought a full set of tires from another Firestone location that I would have lifetime rotation for free. I noticed after I got home and reviewed my charges that I was charged $20 to rotate these tires.

    This was a follow up for a wheel balance problem. The store manager Don helped me personally with this situation. I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Don is certainly the man to have in his position. Excellent customer service skills. I will recommend the Kyle, Tx. Firestone service center to anyone needing car service and repair. I have three autos that I will continue to have serviced at this Firestone location. Thanks Don!

    I went in because my tire pressure light came on and I was almost sure I had a nail in my tire. They were about to close but went ahead and took a look and sure enough I had a nail. They fixed it very quickly and were very nice. Sometimes you go into places as they are about to close and you feel rushed, or the employees aren't nice but the guys at this location were great and I had great customer service.

    I took my 2006 Saturn Ion in because it was making a squealing noise when i brake in the mornings only. They did a brake inspection told me everything was good but it was making the noise because it needed what they call a brake maintence pkg which cost 89.00. I accepted they knew what they were talking about and paid for it. All together i waited about 2 and a half hours while they did the work. I took the car home and it still makes the same noise every morning the first time I use the brakes. Highly doubt I will use them again.

    I will start by saying that the gentlemen working at the register was very polite and knowledgeable. I really appreciate his service. But it was pretty much downhill from there. I made an appointment online for the Kyle location, but the website decided I would better fit at the south Austin location, so my appointment was difficult to locate. Then, the service took over an hour. The only reason that I would go through the trouble of making an appointment is to save time. 1 hour is WAY too long for a simple oil change. I've got things to do!!! Lastly, I brought my coupon to the register for a $19.99 service when it was time to pay, and that is when I was informed that after he gave me a $20 discount just because, my oil change would be $50 because my car can apparently only have full synthetic oil, or my warranty would be voided. I appreciate that he let me know, I just would have liked to be warned in advance. It's a new car. I should probably know these things, but I don't. Anyway, that was fine and understandable, but when I got in my car, I noticed that the sticker notifying me of my next oil change was not filled out. SO... I went in and asked if the full synthetic still needed to be changed every 3,000 or 3 months. He responded that it varies, and my "oil change light" would come on in about 5 to 7,000 miles... WELL, it wasn't on when I brought it in! In fact I had barely put 3,000 since I brought it home from the dealer. I really feel like they should have mentioned that I didn't need the service they were providing BEFORE they performed it. I really don't like to pay $50 for things I don't even need!

    I've been taking my car to this Firestone location for the last couple of years and I can't speak highly enough of the technicians and service staff here! They always take the time to explain things to me and I never feel like I'm taken advantage of. They go out of their way to make sure I don't spend a penny more than needed and have- on a few occasions- checked and replaced small parts free of charge. They are always kind and helpful, and I would recommend them to any and everyone!

    I neede them to replace my Fiats battery, they checked the wiring, alternater, etc when all I needed was a battery replaced. They wanted to make sure everythi g was functioning properly. Other shops would replace, taked mo ey and send you off uncertain. These are true professionals. Good guys..

    I brought my car in to be inspected and was pleasantly surprised to have such friendly and helpful service. My tail light was out and they fixed it right on the spot with no charge. With service like that how can I not go back for other repairs.

    This is the third or forth time I have used this Firestone. They have always been very helpful. This trip was for an oil change. My total charge was $25. I don't think I could do it on my own for less.

    Iced to repeatedly as well as listened to employees lie to other customers repeatedly. Horribly slow service...made appointment, was told it would take no more than an hour...been here for 2 and it's still on the lift...way understaffed..

    we had two vehicles breakdown in the same day near this Firestone location. Not only did they provide incredible service at reasonable prices, but they went out of their way to help our family. We lived over an hour away and to help us out, this Firestone actually drove one of our vehicles to our driveway after repairing it. We were very blessed to find this place and these great employees. We have already recommended this location to friends.

    My car was overheating and the team at Firestone Kyle resolved the issue with hard work and total attitude! Everyone from Don Mack and the entire team worked to fix my car! That is Service with a capital S. I am grateful for their service and help. You will not be disapointed.

    Stopped going to Firestone years ago because of mulitple bad experiences, when this Kyle location opened close to home I thought I would see how they were. They were very courteous and helpful. They didn't waste my time "upselling" or suggesting unneeded repairs. Much different from my past experiences with an Austin location. Will definately go back to Kyle Firestone next time.

    I had a thumping noise in my front end drivers side and it sounded like the A-frame was coming loose. I was taking a long trip the next day. The Manager of the Kyle Texas Firestone store checked it out . It was a worn rubber Bushing and the car was safe to drive on the trip. I asked what I owed and he told me no Charge. Our customer safety is paramount and any time you want a safety check bring it in to be checked out No charge. Most service centers charge you for there time to check it out but will discount the amount from a repair if required. So Im stuck on Firestone for all my car needs. Thank you for putting Safety first.

    I have got several oil changes there and always in and out in a short amount of time with friendly service. They have even put air in my tires several times just because I stopped in for that reason only. The only other service I got is a inspection on my car. To date; I have not got any other service from them.

    I make a 30 minute commute just to use this specific Firestone. I have used other locations near me but have received less than desirable customer service and my car was not checked over as it should be. Don and his crew are not just friendly, but they go above and beyond on every level. As a single girl who knows nothing about cars, I never feel like I'm being sold something I do not need. I even put them to the test on this. I asked them to check something on my vehicle that had just been recently replaced and they did not try to sell me on a new part. I wish every Firestone made me feel like Don's crew does. Thank you gentlemen I appreciate all you do!
