A month ago, I went to this location to get a tire repaired or replaced (whichever was needed), upon arriving discovered a check engine light on, had Paul and his crew take a look at it, discovered a hole had been drilled in my gas tank the previous night. Replacing that was incredibly expensive, much more than I thought it could be. It was replaced correctly as far as I can tell other than the fuel gauge being slightly inaccurate. Employees were courteous at all times. Yesterday I went in to repair or replace the same tire from another screw getting picked up on the road. The tire was replaced but I had been told that the wench for the spare would not lower after having been fully functional 18 hours prior (I had left the wench hook hanging about halfway between the ground and the wench assembly). I was given the option to let a tech "pry" on it to see if it would budge, but no guarantee that it wouldn't break and have to be replaced (was also told maybe the weight of the tire in place helps it operate, but there's no tire in place, therefore no lowering). I elected to put the spare in the bed of the pickup and call it good. Upon arriving home, I crawled underneath the vehicle to discover the wench hook had been retracted up as high and tight as it would possibly go. I laid on my back pulling down on the hook slightly with one arm while lowering the wench with my other arm, nothing that I would use the word "pry" to describe. The wench lowered perfectly and smoothly just as it had done the previous night. I was never treated rudely or had any reason to poorly rate the service, but this really seemed like an attempt at breaking a fully functional assembly with hopes of me paying for a new part and labor to replace it. I don't know why the wench was retracted so high and tight without the spare being in place, maybe it's a safety hazard for it to hang in case it catches something but I was not pleased at the thought that "prying" on the wench might've meant tightening it even more so that it would break and have to be replaced. I'll continue using firestone since my tires are under their warranty but I'm a bit scared that something else might break on my vehicle while in their care. Other than that everything was great. Service takes a while but that's typical at any shop and just part of the industry. I don't see their employees slacking and messing around, so at least I know that they're working the whole time I'm there which makes me feel better.

Car went in for one issue, had to go back four times to correct. Still not repaired properly and have a totally different issue upon said “repair”. Very disappointed

I had a dead battery and called your store. Joe answered the phone and was very friendly. He explained that I could bring it in and he would handle it right away. He helped me with directions, ( I was given a jump start and needed to get it replaced right away) and when I arrived, I was in and out within 25 minutes. Joe had a smile the whole time. He was great to work with and I would recommend him and Firestone to others. Thank you for the great service!

Improperly diagnosed repair needs, tested battery and electrical check $26 +tax and said needed to replace starter $404 + tax. Car still would not start, then said battery was bad $170 + tax? Both replaced and had a new humming, vibration noise which the vehicle went back into the bay several times and still not resolved. Service manager's only solution was to reinstall my old parts, credit me for those parts and the labor to install and send me on my way, insisting they had checked everything they touched and vibration was in my steering column. I have been a Firestone customer for decades and early this month spent nearly $1000 for replacing a water pump, hoses, thermostat, etc. so I was totally put out with this poor choice of just putting my old parts back on and leaving with the original problem plus a new humming, vibration issue. I let them put the old stuff back on and took vehicle to another repair shop down the street. They replaced the battery (which was bad) and tested the alternator and starter, which both tested good. They found the humming, vibration which and tightened four loose fasteners on the AC compressor mounting. Wonder how those got loose (Firestone only folks that have been under the hood of this car this month)? Car is fixed for both the original issue and the new one for ($42 for a new battery that was still under warranty with Nappa and $95.73 for the other repair shop to test and diagnose the humming caused by four loose bolts on AC compressor). Firestone lost my future business yesterday, but at least I didn't pay Firestone $600 for a battery.

I've took two vehicles in for tires and each time service was great. I was kept updated with what was going on with my vehicles. If they found something wrong they would let me know if I needed it done right then or an approximate time in the near future. I would let them know with the expression on my face that I'm not rich but I do want to be safe. So they've never tried to take me for my money, I appreciate honesty, I would highly recommend this store to family, friends and strangers in need.

I bought two new tires for our RAV4 after one of the older ones had a blowout. The shop didn't have them in stock but ordered them for next day installation. The service attendant was very professional and helpful. They were installed the next morning, as promised. The only thing they forgot to do was to reset the "underinflated" dash light after service. I had to come in the following day to have that done, but again, it was done with friendly professionalism

Last weekend I took my Honda Pilot to Firestone in Watauga expecting to spend a lot of money. To my surprise, the attendant informed me that only the back brakes needed to be replaced and the drums turned. I was so impressed by their honesty, and that is why I will absolutely return to that location for future service. It was ready for pickup in just a couple hours. I am very happy with my experience.

Last week I had a flat tire due to rolling over a nail. I had recently purchased a full set of tires from Firestone, so I was really bummed that I might have to buy another one so quickly. However, when I arrived, I was quickly greeted by friendly faces and was told that my tire could be repaired. And at no cost!!! I am a single mom with 2 older model cars (10yrs & 15yrs), so to know that I can always rely on the incredible team at the Watauga Firestone is extremely reassuring. I would like to especially recognize the remarkable customer service from Brad & Justin. These guys are the bomb.com!!!!!

I came in on a Thursday to be told I had to make an appointment Friday, so I did. Friday I show up 15 minutes early and was told i had to wait 45 minutes. An hour later I still hadnt been seen. I asked the attendant when I was going to be seen and he said I was next. 2 hours later I was finally out the door. But...it wasnt over. Lucky for me I made a pitstop on my way home and notice heavy dripping...oil. So I rushed over to see what happened. The explination "there was a small hole in my radiator tank." They said thay did nothing to fix it and it hasnt leaked since. No leak before, no leak after I brought it to there attention. 3 1/2 hours later and I missed the only day I get to see my son. I will not bring my buisness to these people. Side note, the manager did a good job in keeping me calm.

My daughter and I were traveling through and had problems with the air con. Schedule an appt online for Sunday at 11 am. Got there at 1045 girl at front desk start trying to up sale us for addl services, told her just want pay to have the air con checked. She went out the door and back to tell us they would not be able to get to the air con check till after 1, even though we had an appt. not great customer service. Drove down the road and was able to get it charged in 20 minutes.

The first experience was decent but spent an extra hour and a half after closing time waiting on my vehicle that had been there since noon. After new breaks and tires I still have an unusual noise when I back up that occurred after working on my car. The second time I left another vehicle overnight and when I picked the vehicle up, deciding not to spend anymore money on this vehicle, I had to call my wife from home to drive up to jump the car off. This was after the service advisor tried once and then told me it wouldn't start then walked off. We got it started like usual and will not return to this Firestone!!!

After getting a noise checked out at another location, I was disappointed to hear that it cost $500+ to get it fixed. While putting it off, I came to this location for a oil change, and they checked out the same problem again for free. They were extremely patient in explaining everything to me and ran another estimate. I was thrilled to discover it was half the price and opted for them to fix it then and there. The repair was quick and painless and although I paid more than I had expected today, I had so much peace of mind driving home. Two pieces of advice: Always get multiple estimates Make sure one of your estimates is from this location!

I am puzzled with my recent visit to Firestone. I had my check engine light and wanted the experts to tell me the problem. After a free diagnosis I told there was some censer problem going on and some numbers were thrown at me for further diagnostics and repair. Long story short I left with the check engine light still on so I could come back later for the repairs, however after I bought gas the next day and closed the tank cup the light went off. So these guys were going to charge me money just to close just turn my tank cover tight. This make me wonder how many times I have paid for things my 11yr old daughter could have done!

I went for a routine oil change a couple weeks ago. I made sure to make an appointment, as I know that they can be very busy. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for my car for just an oil change. I have never waited that long for such a simple service. I was very unsatisfied with the wait. But I did receive good service at a decent price.

Was buying a car for my daughter who is about to turn 16. Kristopher Stevens suggested the $10 inspection and did a great job of pointing out any issues. People were coming in late and thye just kept working. didnt refuse service or close when it was time. they served everybody and were really friendly. have had a ton of bad experiiecnes at other places. but will always be coming here from now on. this location was awesome.

I took my daughter's car in for service and spent over $600.00 for an Alternator and Battery replacement, which is what they said was the problem. I went out of town 2 days later and my daughter called me and said it was doing the same thing. I had her take it back and they told her it was the main fuse. It didn't make sense.

I have always serviced my vehicles for the last 15 years (new/used) with Firestone in 4 states and I always receive the same quality service despite various locations. I have been a loyal customer who immediately thinks of firestone when I need oil changes, tire rotations, etc. The only concern I have is with every business in this area is we need another Firestone nearby because I am clearly not the only one who depends on Firestone.

Thanks to the young lady in the shop who said they could do the alignment so close to closing time. The gentleman at the counter was all ready to give me the " We don't have time bit". I came in about 45 min before close on a Sunday. I had just finished rebuilding the front end on my car and needed it for work the next day. She came in just as I was about to get the "line". I did not catch her name, but its probably on the work order. Again thanks so much .

I am going since 2000 and lately very disappointed. Front people comparatively fare but, no customer service from management. No proper answer if ask them when car will be ready customer loyalty. Looks like need to find other alternative for auto services.

My car was towed there after my battery failed. Was told my battery would not hold a charge and all of the cabling had to be replaced at exorbitant expense When I went to make arrangements to get my stuff out of the car and have it towed for a second opinion the car started right up. I drove it home. My neighbor cleaned off the cable ends with coke and it has worked perfectly ever since.

I have been getting my cars serviced at this Firestone for more than a decade, and I've never been disappointed with the repairs. They always get the repair done right the first time. I feel like the cost is pricey, but as far as I can tell, all repair shops are pricey. At least I know the repair will be done right. Some years ago I felt that some of the suggested repairs were not necessarily needed. The management of the store has changed since then and that has not been a problem in recent years.

bought tires, had wheel alignment. ... had nice chrome valve stem caps. After work completed, I had cheap plastic valve stem covers. The workers 'couldn't find' the ones they'd taken off it. I don't know, someone left with better caps than they came in with, or? And they don't stock them so they could replace them. They sell tires/wheels, but no valve stem caps. They offered for me to go buy them and bring the receipt to them for reimbursement, but what a hassle. I don't have the time. I would not go back there, except that I bought extended time alignments, before I knew this happened. Maybe I'll go for alignments only, and take my caps off before I let them have my van.

I tried to use them for an oil change two days ago before I have to do a lot of traveling within the next week to get my oil changed and my tires rotated and balanced. I registered online for an appointment at 3pm. At 4:15, my vehicle was still sitting in the front parking lot. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay any longer when I confronted them with the issue because of other appointments. I will not have the opportunity to take my truck back in for the needed services until after I have traveled over 1,000 miles. This isn't the first time that I have had to wait several hours for an oil change at this location!
