If you are not, you will have a maximum of two years from the date of your employment to comply with this requirement. If Texas calls for extra certifications, you can expect to obtain those as well. Just as importantly, you must have the skill to train apprentice mechanics and advise non-technical customers about inspection findings and service recommendations.
