I received a request to evaluate my allegedly visit to the Orangeburg Firestone. I do not use that Firestone and I do not have the vehicle that you asked me to review my experiences.

I got front brake pads put on on 8/10/17 and had to put in brake fluid 3-4 days later and again on 8/30/17. I noticed brake fluid leaking so I took my vehicle back to Firestone and had it checked again and was told those were not the brake pads that Firestone put on. Well I don't know who brake pads they belong to because no one else put front brake pads on my vehicle. Firestone then said I need brake caliper and I would have to pay for the labor. I refused because I did not have a leak until Firestone put on front brake pads.

I went in for my courtesy tire rotation and alignment check. I had an appointment for 9:30 am but it took over 2 hours to complete. At 10:45 am, they tried to get me to sign something saying that the work had been completed, but it had not even been started. No one ever explained to me why it was taking so long and no one ever apologized. Also an employee sat in my car running my windshield wipers for a long time (which I thought was odd). Then when I left, my wiper fluid light came on. It appears that he ran my wiper fluid out. No one even mentioned that I needed wiper fluid. Very strange and disappointing experience. I won't be back.

I was highly disappointed by the service I received. I was with some a group of military service members and we all agreed that the service was poor. The workers acted as if our service request was a burden or bothersome to them. The communication was poor and it seemed as if they did not want to work on my vehicle. I saw that this store only had a one star review but I was from out of town on a Army training event and had no other option but to go to firestone. I was hoping that the one star review would not hold true , but my visit confirmed their unsatisfactory level of service.

This store overcharged me, then attempted to sell me an extra tire after finding a nail that had become imbedded in a previous one. Stating the tire was "unrepairable", both the manager and a co-worker led us to believe we had no recourse but to pay for the third tire. After taking the tire in question to an independent tire shop, we learned that not only was the tire completely repairable, but that someone at this Firestone store had pounded a new, shiny, small rod into the tire in question so as to make it appear as proof. We took pictures of this highly suspicious puncture--there is no sign of any kind of road wear on the new puncture yet it's circled in chalk as if this was the problem. Never going back to this store and we are filing a complaint with several agencies.

I like the fact there are the same faces every time I go there. There are a few new faces but it's a black girl and boy that been there for a while and they know my name. Lol but I keep forgetting their.

Needing a battery for my car, the manager personally delivered the new battery to us while on vacation at the beach.

We had driven several miles to attend an out-of-town wedding. Not wanting to return home with the tires in the condition they were in, I came into the store to purchase a new set of tires and battery. In the process of changing the tires the mechanic noticed an oil sheen on the undercarriage of my car. Upon inspection the automatic transmission was found to be overfilled with fluid. Two weeks before our trip I had taken our car in for an oil change, lub, and checkup before we got on the road...not at a Firestone store. It was than that the tire situation was brought to my attention, but I put it off. The only way I can explain how the transmission ended up overfilled is that in the process of servicing my car the transmission was drained my mistake when an oil change was intended. If this is the case, upon refilling the transmission, it was overfilled by three quarts. The Firestone facility graciously removed the excess oil saving me the prospect of a seriously damaged transmission.

I used them a week ago, the work I needed done took way longer than the expected time rate and the mechanic that worked on my did not do a good job and he needed assistance fixing his errors.

I had plan to leave my car at the appointed time. They took the car at the appointed time and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. I thought it would have taken longer.

Back a few years ago, you couldn't take it to them without it leaving with more problems than it had before. All that staff is gone. Guys behind the counter are great now. the service men still aren't up to par. Its a work in progress. But better than they used to be.

Had front and back Breaks installed. Had to turn rotors twice. But they were very efficient in rectifying the problem. Rhonda was excellent!!

I have used Firestone since I moved to Orangeburg about 5 years ago. I feel like I have come to trust the service less in recent days. I had a bad experience with purchasing tires that I then had to replace shortly after buying; while Firestone attempted to help with the cost, it was still rather obnoxious. The staff inside often seems bothered by customers and do not speak to customers with respect.
