They were ready and waiting for my car when I arrived. They got right to work and did a great job. They were even able to work in time to fix my brakes and get me back on the road quickly. Great job, guys!

Tried to sell me expensive and unneeded fixes instead of fixing the original problem I had suspected. Les Schwab fixed it right away, and they’re just right down the street.

Will and his team always seem to really care about what they are doing, and every time I or my wife go in to the waiting area we are always greeted and always offed coffee and asked how we are doing.

I came into Firestone 4601 SE Powell Blvd location (Portland, OR) on 11/12/17 at 10:57am to drop off my vehicle for a tire inspection because my tires the previous night dropped in tire pressure and noticed it after the fact. They appeared to be warped even after I filled them with air at the gas station. The Manager on site that I spoke with was Austin. Based upon his inspection of the tires he recommended at minimum the two front tires be replaced. Trusting his advice we discussed prices of tires at the counter. He provided 3 options and I made a selection. We agreed that they would replace both front tires instead of all 4. Afterwards, because I had to leave the vehicle there, I called a cab to take me home an $11 fare. I received a phone call at around 4pm that my vehicle was ready for pick up, but that they would not be able to only replace the two front tires, but it was their policy on an all wheel drive vehicle that all 4 must be replaced. I had explained to him we are not financially able to budget that, so we agreed to come pick up the vehicle. So pretty much its like this, I work two jobs and have a limited amount of time to do these kinds of things. I sacrificed some hours of sleep in my day to deal with this, as well as $11 cab fare, and I couldnt get a simple apology from Austin. I asked Austin if he was new and he said No, I have worked here for 8 months and I am the manager. I told him that I thought that was a pretty big oversight on his part for being a manager. In my opinion, it was obvious he didnt really care, he was unapologetic, and thats the thing, on the wall there is a quote that says they value honesty, and honestly because of his error, my car was held up all day, i waited like 5 hours just to hear they couldnt do the service they agreed to perform, I lost an $11 cab fare, and at the end of it all not even a sincere apology. That is why I am providing this kind of feedback, I pretty much wasted most of my free time before work to deal with this issue and thats time and money I cant get back. I would not recommend this place of business to any of my friends or family. I myself am a Manager of a gym and I also manage a bar, so yea, I know what its like to be a manager, and if I had made a big mistake like that I would at least be a little bit considerate to my customer.

Cost to replace two reverse lights: $100. Reverse lights did not even work when picked up vehicle. Was told they did not have enough mechanics (one was 'at lunch' & one 'on the phone') to check if they were working after replacing. It is not on the consumer to make sure the work was done, and there is zero proof that the bulbs were even replaced. Customer service was lacking, although I was offered a refund, which was appropriate considering nothing was done to my vehicle. Will not be taking my vehicles to Firestone again. Hugely inflated prices, and clearly they do not check their work after completed.

Everyone seemed polite, but I was told the job would be done by the end of the day, and three days later I found myself waiting for hours. The work was done right, and they did not add unnecessary parts or charges. It was a bitter sweet experience.

My wife and I have been using their oil changing service and have been very satisfied. Their prices are compatible with the Jiffy lubes, Oil Can Henry's, etc., but the service is so much better. One tech works on your vehicle and he appears to be a seasoned professional. The tech has brought to our attention a couple issues that should be addressed. He was spot on and there was absolutely no pressure to get the services done at their shop, however, their charges for any additional services are competitive.

I have been to many tire shops and found Firestone to have the most knowledgeable, and helpful people yet. They put a good set of tires on for a good price, and didnt even destroy my Plasti-Dip coating. In and out in about an hour. They were great and I will be back.

When my Tahoe's alternator went out on the way home from the airport I was afraid we would be stranded on a Sunday and not get back home to make our drive to California for thanksgiving. But they made a promise to try and fix it tht day, and they followed through! It took a while, waiting our turn, but they had the part in stock, and we made it home safe that night! They were very accommodating as I had my 4 year old stuck there with me too! Thanks to Marty especially!

Scheduled appointment for 1:00 p.m. three days prior for snow tire change over. Showed up @ 3:30 and car wasn't touched. There was never a phone call to notify me of schedule delays.They showed no care whatsoever. I will never visit this location again. They shouldn't offer appointments for service.

I live in Alaska and needed a new older model tire to match the set on my all wheel drive vehicle. Val Simonov at Firestone in Portland OR was very helpful, found the tire I needed and was able to ship the tire UPS to my home in Alaska, saving me over $600. Since my current tires were almost new except for one tire that had a side wall go bad, it was either find one new tire to match or buy a new set of 4 tires. Thank you Val....!!!

I have plans to visit my little sister in three days, she lives 4 hrs away so I took my '03 Hyundai to Firestone yesterday for an oil change. After changing the oil the technician inspected all other fluids and various safety points throughout my car. He discovered two major issues that could have caused a serious and dangerous accident. Now that I have had the ball joint (front right) and the spindle bearing (rear right) replaced, I feel so much safer to drive the 8 hour round trip to my sisters! Thank you Marty and Doug!
