Extremely busy for holiday weekend visit and Eric was patient with each customer as the phone was ringing off the hook. First visit to this shop and would go back due to service given however they really need two people working the desk.

Our vehicle was towed to this location within 48 hours and less then 20 miles on a brand new set of $1400 tires(Firestone Destination MT2 35x12.5x20) that the University Firestone installed because a brand new tire went flat. Which is where we discovered that the previous firestone had scratched Line-X on all four wheels and damage had been done to the caliper which punctured the wheel so me getting my wife a new set tires turned into a new set of tires, front brakes, a new caliper, a new wheel, and having to get Line-X on the new wheel which totaled almost $2000.00. As the parts are coming for that truck I got a new passenger front tire put on under warranty because the tires sidewall was damaged on my F350 at the firestone on W.T. Harris cost me $85 and asked them to rotate my tires and they refused because they felt as they all the tires were fine and of even tread wear. Within an hour of leaving their location I had my passenger rear tire blow out as I was driving down the freeway doing 75mph headed out of town. We took the tire to the nearest firestone and it cost me $157.00 to have that tire replaced under warranty so I asked how is it I just paid $85 to have a tire replaced under warranty and told the tread was the same on all the tires but here I'm paying double the price here for a tire blowout the gentlemen at that firestone said it is what it is. The Gastonia store manager, Jim, made my family feel extremely uncomfortable each time we went to check on our vehicle to see if it was completed yet. He was extremely rude, short, and snarky to not only other customers but to his staff as well. He told me our truck would be completed at the end of one day so we got to the store at 6:30 before they closed and our truck still wasn't ready. The most pleasant and helpful associate they have is a gentlemen named Aarron he and another associate stayed after closing to ensure that our vehicle was completed that day. When it came time for me to pay Aarron was looking for the invoice paperwork that Jim set to the side but couldn't find it; he looked all over the front desk and other parts of the store for a little over an hour and called Jim, the Store Manager, 4 or 5 times and and even went as far as calling the area manager a few times but neither of them answered their phones and he apologized profusely because of how long it was taking. He said I can take a picture of your ID and one of your forms of payment and Jim will call you tomorrow so you can make the payments over the phone. I had no issue with that at all and even offered to just give the money but he said the payment needed to be applied to that invoice for the system to close it out correctly. The next morning Jim calls us with a very agitated tone demanding to know why we didn't pay so I explained to him what happened and how helpful Aarron was in rectifying Jim's mistakes with miscommunication which lead to our vehicle not being ready on time and misplacing the paperwork which lead to us being there a whole extra hour after our vehicle was ready just trying to make the payment. He then tells me that he attempted to process the full payment amount of $459.01 on my one of the 2 forms of payment I provided card and which didn't authorize for one card and it declined which is why I provided two forms of payment to be split. Jim then proceeds to tell me that if I do not pay within the next few minutes that Aarron the extremely helpful and kind gentlemen would be fired which was very disturbing because Aarron had helped us every step of the way over the past few weeks getting our vehicle taken care.

The management at Gastonia is great and techs are great too! However the last tires purchased at firestone in Belmont are the worst tires I have ever purchased. I have bought primewells for years. I have gotten 94,000 miles on a set. But these tires can't be balanced. I have had them balanced at least 5 times. Every time they tell me that all tires were out of balance. When you get up to 65 - 75mph. You think that the van is going to shake apart. I am very disappointed in the tires. Will never buy these tires again. And will recommend to my friends to stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased a set of 10 ply 50,000 mile Firestone tires for our truck February 2015 and as of this visit and only 14,000 miles later the tires are "dangerously" slick per tech. Pure junk! Not to mention we purchased a set of Firestone tires for our mustang at same time and they are slick w 10,000 miles on 35,000 mile tires! Never again will we purchase Firestone tires. Manager would not make any effort to make it right.

It took OVER an hour and a half for a basic oil change despite the fact that I had an appointment and arrived ten minutes early (9am on a Saturday morning). There was only one vehicle ahead of me when I arrived and it appeared that their service had taken a long time too. The staff never addressed the length of time it was taken and offered no explanation or apology. On top of that they are pushy with offers for anything they can come up with to get more money out of you. These are issues that I expect to some degree from just about any repair shop, but here those issues are worse than normal in my opinion.

After one week I was telling everyone how great the Gastonia and the Belmont office was for recommend the Gastonia office to do an emergency 4 tire replacement I have still not received my emailed receipt. They have sent me 2 questionnaires but still no receipt. Other than that service was very prompt, very couterious, and very reasonable

I have been taking my truck here for 6 years and will continue to go back. But always they estimate the time it will take to service my truck and are continually off by 2 hours sometimes 3. I have waited on an oil change, tire rotation, and front end alignment for 5 to 6 hours after they told me it would take and hour and a half.

I was told vehicle was aligned within specks and new tires balanced, but ever since the new tires installed truck shimmies at 68mph and rolls to the right, not happy.

I was very happy with the store.I have a 2008 Tundra and used to get my oil changed there since it was close to work.The last time I got my oil changed I happen to watch and saw the mechanic change my oil and never removed filter!I was very upset and I only received 2 free oil changes.I did not even try to argue this matter.

I bought 4 tires and had a front end alignment. My truck still pulled to the right after the alignment. They aligned it the second time and it stills pulls to the right. I have not been back since.

I take my car and my daughter's car to be serviced each time when needed to the Gastonia FIrestone and I am glad we do. The service is great and when I suggest them to check something for me - if I do not need it at the time - they let me know and most places would just do it so they could just get your money. I have confidence in them and will continue going to the Gastonia Firestone. Everyone is great.

I've been using firestone since 1997, have been using this particular firestone since 2009 and I go here to get everything done to my car! I'm not a highly mechanical person but they do take the time to explain some of my "why is that" or "where does that go" type of questions which to me shows knowledge, insight and tells me they value me as a customer.
