Went in for routine car inspection. Was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. No problem there. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great. Fast. Friendly service.

Yesterday was rush day for everyone to get their snow tires put on. The guys were great. I made an appointment and even though there were a lot of cars there, I was still in and out much quicker than I thought I would be. Kudos to the Latham team to handling that rush!! ????

First alignment wasn’t perfect, off just enough to throw a steering wheel alignment error but brought it back and they got it fixed promptly, and the new alignment is on target.

All of my thanks generally goes to the online chat rep that assisted me during my time of need to be quite frank...the sales adviser and the tech i'm sure did a great job, but it was the online chat rep that made this all possible. I hit a bad spot in the road and my tire blew fortunately as i was just getting to my house...so my car had a flat tire literally in front of my house. Because i have no phone--i immediately filed a claim online with my insurance company and was able to chat with a rep from Firestone immediately and explain my circumstances...the rep was phenomenal...she was able to take down the shop i go to and my need for a discount tire...she was able to call the shop and explain my circumstances..she was even able to get me a price!! She then informed the shop that my vehicle would be coming in via tow truck...i called Firestone the next day shortly after noon and the tire was replaced at the price i was quoted. Kudos to the rep that i chatted with online. She made what seemed to be a complex issue to me very simple.

I have been a Firestone customer at this location for 35 years. I've returned here repeatedly with numerous vehicles (including those belonging to my 4 children) because of the friendly, reliable and honest service I have received over the years. This particular visit was exemplary! I spoke with Tony (the manager) and Scott the service technician. My Honda Civic 2008 experienced a engine block leak. Scott pressure tested it and confirmed it. Tony printed out a 14 page Honda bulletin advising me of a potential warranty issue - where the warranty had been extended to 10 years / unlimited miles for this particular VIN and model year. Tony suggested that I bring the car to Honda to see if I was eligible for a warranty repair. He also provided me with a quote to explain the cost and labor charge for an engine replacement (that was estimated to be $7400 with 14.5 hrs labor). He asked Scott to show me the leak as well. With all of this information I felt very confident to go to Honda and explain the situation. I brought the car to Honda and they confirmed that despite this being a 10 year old vehicle with 138,000 miles, it was fully covered under warranty because of a factory engine defect. Honda even provided my wife with a rental car. As a result, I am having the engine replaced without charge. I called Tony to tell him my findings and to explain that his actions resulted in my saving >$7000 or potentially having to replace my car. I would like to highly commend Tony and his staff for their actions. He could have easily offered to replace the engine with a rebuilt one and I most likely would have gone forward with this repair, since the car body and other components are in excellent shape. Tony's honestly and helpfulness is why I return to this Firestone location over and over again through the years. Tony and Scott should be very highly commended for their work and outstanding service in this specific situation.

I stopped in without an appointment at 5:30pm with a failed headlight, they fixed my headlight and I was out of the shop within 30 minutes, highly recommend this team.

It had been years...decades even, before I FINALLY found mechanics I can trust, and I've found them in Latham, New York at our local Firestone. Originally it was the Manager at that time, Sean Reilly, and now, it is his Brother, Tony Reilly that is the Manager there (Sean is a District Manager now, which demonstrates to me that at a Corporate level there is crisp, apt ability to recognize excellent workers!). I cannot tell you how gratifying and how much of a relief it is to have mechanics I can trust, who make me feel like family anytime I bring my car in. Before Tony and Sean, I had felt so abused by mechanics, always trying to milk me out of money, always taking advantage of my lack of expertise with cars, and both my car and my wallet REALLY suffered. I dreaded bringing my car in for service, usually never returning to the same location, and never having a positive experience. That changed thanks to Sean Reilly originally, and even with Sean now moved up the Management ladder, his Brother, Tony Reilly is always and ever awesome, and always very eager to offer the very best in service to me and anyone I send there; his staff is superb in their professionalism and aptitude, and not only incredibly smooth with their craft...they make you feel special. Yes, I send people to the Latham, NY Firestone, and I rave to all my friends, acquaintances and family about the genuine thrill of what should be a simple thing...finding mechanics you can trust, with service that sets the bar for everyone else in the Automotive and service industries. It's equally gratifying to notice that Corporate level folks are gifted enough to know what quality work is...and all-the-more reason to feel absolutely good about Firestone in general, let alone the stellar quality of the staff in their Latham, New York location. Just today I brought my car in, and Tony took excellent care of me, and one his staff, named Marcel, was also incredible, kind, enthusiastic and did great work. I also met Tony's Wife, who was gracious and kind, and they all had me feeling like a star. People like that aren't just rare in the Automotive industry, they're rare in ANY service industry. I would LOVE to see them recognized, so they can feel like stars as much as they had me feeling like one. I would go as far as to offer testimonials about Firestone should they ever be needed...because that is how truly grateful I am to feel good about having my car serviced and repaired...especially considering the regime change between Sean and now Tony left a remarkable level of excellence that never wavered, making it all the more incredible to behold. It's like winning the awesome life experience lottery!

I think Firestone should rename their MOTTO to "COMPLETE AUTO CARE AND BEYOND". I have been going to Firestone for years now and I have experienced a problem with my lawn mower tire. I brought the tire to Shane and Scott and they said no problem. I left the tire assembly there and about 45 minutes later Shane called and said I was ALL SET. I am mowing again and Helen is Very Happy. Shane and Scott made me feel like a member of the Family. Great Understanding and Service

I had a great experience at this Firestone. It wasn't my first time, but I definitely feel they were through in completing what I wanted. As well as checking up on other things. I got there earlier than my scheduled appointment and they were very good about making sure my car was in and ready to go within the hour.

When i set up an appointment to perform work on my car I don't expect to wait 1-1/2 hours before my car makes into the garage, then wait another 3 hours to replace 4 new tires, an oil change and state inspection. A total of 4-1/2 hours is not my expectation, Then two days later find out that they failed to reset my maintenance schedule.

There is one thing i have to say is that Lance the Manager is out standing in every field i follow him where every station he goes it could be the one on Wolf Road in Colonie NY or to Central Ave in Albany NY or to the one in Latham NY where ever he goes i follow He is a great guy your very luckey to have him as part of your Firestone Family

I was really excited about a lifetime allignment, pay now and it's good for the life of my car. My husband made the arangements with you and took my car in. He said his experience with you guys was great. But, when he left the shop he discovered that the steering wheel was no longer lined up properly. Maybe that sounds insignificant, but I am a 9:00 3:00 driver and it really bugs me that the hand grips are not in the proper places. He will be bringing it back fairly soon.

I am a Firestone client and find the service to be excellent. Tony Carangi and his team always provide dependable, honest service. Since Bridgestone is the parent company and spends a great deal on advertising, I wonder why you don't include any mention of Firestone Complete Auto Care in the ads. I don't believe that people recognize Firestone's great vehicle service of all auto repairs. You don't just sell tires. It would seem that a cheap way of informing the public would be to include Firestone in the Bridgestone spots.

Subaru dealer 'suggested' I replace the catalictic converter - your people found a wire short and replaced censors - if I had gone through the dealer, I would have spent $1,700 for the converter which I did NOT need. That's a lot of $$$ and I will go to Firestone for future repairs, maintenance and tires. Who has this kind of money lying around??? PLUS THEY KNEW MORE ABOUT MY CAR THAN THE DEALER DID.

I was having tires put in , along with an alignment. After i left the store the car pulled really hard to the left at a traffic light. When I finally got home , i was putting items in the truck and realized my spare tire was missing. I called the store and told them what happened and they said to come in the next day. I arrived the next day and i told the technician that my spare tire was missing . His response was the guy who worked on your car found your tire by his toolbox after i had left. No one contacted me to let me know that my tire wasthere. I had to drive 45 min home to find out myself it was missing.

I was recently there for an oil change and they found a problem with my rear struts that I didn't know about. They said it would take roughly 2-2.5hrs to repair, the mechanic I had knew what he was doing and got it done right and got it done in 1.5hrs

I had an on-line appointment for 1:00 for 4 tires and didn't leave until 6:00. No one ever said why?. There were other customers there also that had to wait as long as I did. When I complained the guy said he would adjust my bill and he never did.I was too tired and frustrated to argue. I go to bed a t 4pm because I work nights and just had to leave. I will never go back to a Firestone place again. Terrible terrible service.
