Firestone completely did not do repairs correctly the first time on 5/24 as I went in for an oil change, I needed brake pads in the back and rotors in the back of my vehicle. Not only did they try to over charge me by $200.00 for these parts they rushed through the job putting my life at risk by not adding in a new screw for the rotor just telling me they tightened it the best they could but it was damaged. They did not add the oil sticker to my vehicle I don't even think they did the oil change. I was told to come back in on 5/25 to get the sticker and check the screw on the rotor they made me wait over an hour, did nothing about the screw again did not replace it just tightened it again wasting my time and money. They AGAIN did not add the oil sticker I had to go back inside and ask why I just sat here for another hour and you didn't even do what you were supposed to do. I want my money back and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was great. Service advisor Tyler was extremely helpful. The technician Jeff was also extremely helpful. They explained everything in full and made me feel comfortable bringing my truck here. Definitely would recommend!

I was having a windshield washer problem after driving here from the Amtrak Auto Train station in Lorton, Va that I took from Sanford, Fl on 12/25/16. I called the Toms River Firestone and Patrick was able to book an appointment for 1pm yesterday. I was so surprised to walk in and be greeted by a very sweet, young woman named Gen. I showed her my receipt from the Curry Ford Rd Orlando, Fl Firestone who was supposed to make sure my car was winterized for my trip to NJ. I explained what had happened and told her my window washer stopped working and I was concerned about the actual winterizing that was done in Orlando since my washer fluid seemed not to work and could be frozen up if it wasn't drained and replaced with winter fluid. And how that caused me concern for my radiator fluid too. My car was taken right in and the problem was found to be a clog of pollen in my fluid lines which they worked on to get flushed out so I wouldn't need any lines replaced. Unfortunately, they said my pump wasn't working and would need replacing along with putting in new filters due to the excess of pollen in them, also. I gave the okay. Soon afterwards, Gen advised me they were able to save my pump since it was full of ice. I was so grateful. This told me Orlando Firestone didn't do the job I had expected. They actually wrote on my receipt from them, "No Complaints." Well, I now have "complaints" about their service to my car. I was so pleased with my Toms River Store I had a meat-lovers pizza from Pizza Hut delivered to them. ( I had a small problem as I pulled out of their parking lot and just backed up and asked for help. There was a scraping sound near a front tire. A second service man looked also and found the problem at my bumper and resolved it.) I actually had "fun" with the employees. They all deserved that pizza.

Shocked to have had such a pleasant experience! So nice to deal with people that are NOT grumpy and seemingly inconvenienced by your presence!! My service advisor, Patrick, was incredibly helpful and smiling the entire time! They had me in and out of there with 4 new tires quickly and the price was great too!! Highly recommend this shop!!

When a sales person quotes a price for a full set of tires (4), I assume that's installed, out the door, complete. Not the case. First, & last, tire purchase from a Firestone dealer. I don't expect an extra fee for valve stems ($24.00), balancing (not sure of the $), plus misc. fees for shop supplies, tire disposal,etc. All previous purchases from competitors included the above mentioned services. Give future customers "out the door pricing". Also...I previously purchased a LIFETIME alignment, tire rotation & balancing package for my truck. LIFETIME balancing...but you're sales person says that only pertains to the pre-existing tires that were being replaced...??? LIFETIME... for all Firestone dealers. How would a dealer anywhere else, know that tires have been replaced?...how about I purchased these new tires somewhere else and continued to bring my truck in for "Lifetime" alignment, rotation & balancing, at this dealer... how do they know they've been replaced?...LIFETIME. The counter help and tech. service was professional. Have the sale person be more specific with a 100% out the door price. Again, the service tech did a great job aligning the front end.

When I've ever purchased a full set of tires from a reputable company, the price included mounting, balancing, valve stems. When a sales person gives me a price, I expect that price plus tax. Not at Firestone (1st. time), I'm paying for valve stems,balancing,shop supplies & old tire disposal. I have a lifetime front end alignment contract along w/life time balancing & tire rotation. Your service rep. says that the balancing & rotation only pertains to the tires that were on the truck when I purchased the service. So I'm recharged for that life time service because I just purchased a new complete set of tires from Firestone...doesn't make sense. What if I purchased tires from another company, is any Firestone dealer that I'm entitled to bring my truck to going to know I just got new tires? I pre-paid for LIFETIME alignment, balancing & rotation. There's NO mileage or time limitation. We're not talking a lot of money here, but I'm sure I could use it more than Firestone. !st. & LAST Firestone tire purchase. This experience will be passed on.

Saturday brought me new tires and an alignment. It also brought me a warranty that will keep me safe on the road. I think one of the biggest things for me was that I was not taken advantage of because I'm a female. Larry took his time to explain what was being offered, pricing and procedure. He was honest and courteous. Beyond a good product and an outstanding warranty.... that has stood out most in my mind.

I scheduled a visit at the Toms River Firestone store for 4 new tires. Bill Jackson worked with me on the phone and let me know about the Affinity series on sale so I bought those to replace aging Firehawks. Prices as excellent, on sale, saved at least $130. Bill talk care of me and I'm a happy guy with new tires on my 2009 Scion xB. Thank you Firestone and thanks Bill.

I had an appointment and it still took them 2 hours to change two tires. My car was completed and it took them 20 minutes to ring me up so I could get out of there. Didn't seem like they thought my time was important.

hadn't set of tires put on about a week ago the technician was eager to take my money $1000 later he said I would have raised white letter tires installed. I get there to pick the car up and they are solid black then he tells me they don't make Ray white letters in my tire size what you could have told me that from the beginning when I first asked him.

I have used the services of the Toms River Firestone store on several occasions. The first time was an error on my part that the service people could have exploited, I believed the thermostat on my truck was faulty when in fact the temp knob had broken & I turned the temp cold instead of hot! The second time was the morning I was leaving to return to VA and my boyfriend noticed my front tires were dangerously worn & the gentlemen at the Toms River branch quickly serviced my truck & told me about your service card where I would not pay interest on the tires if paid within 6 mo.

We moved to Toms River a couple years ago and it took us some time to find the BEST! We now have all our need done by The Firestone on Rt 37 and have referred many friends to them. Very trustworthy. Excellent management team

i moved a year ago and started going to Firestone on Rt 37 in Toms River after going to a North Jersey Firestone branch for over 12 years. i was pleasantly surprised to find that they were as nice as my previous branch.

Went into Firestone about a vibration from a tire. They said wheels were unbalanced (wheels they installed), and charged me $35 after waiting 2 hours. The vibration continued afterwards so I returned - now they said my caliber was stuck on the rear brake - gave an outrageous $600 estimate to do brakes on both sides (after I just had them done 4 month prior). Why didn't they discover this the first time?? Needless to say I went to another shop, only had to replace the faulty caliber at the cost of $85.

Was in having my car serviced brakes oil change and new wipers They did not have my wipers for the front in stock. They did replace the rear one . I Dont normally use my rear wiper but with this weather i turned it on an the wiper doesnt come in complete contact with the window. Really!! Something so simple wasnt checked. Makes me think what about the brakes. Were they concerned enough to check them.

The Firestone Boys have been taking excellent car of my cars since 1989, soon after my "mechanical husband" died. I give them a call, tell them what I need, they say, "Com'on in". I'm usually in and out within an hour and on my way, feeling VERY safe and confident With over 150,000 miles on my Toyota, Firestone has done a great job. Thank you Toms River Firestone! PS. Just found out you give a military discount. Please find a space in your stores to advertise this to let our military men and their families know you support and appreciate their service. PPS. In reference to the service performed question below, over the years, everything has been done.

I take my fleet vehicle to this Firestone. they always know what needs to be done at what mileage. They are friendly, and professional. There are two other Firestone complete auto care locations closer to where I live, but both had told me that I had to leave it with them over night for an oil change. That is why I choose the one in Toms River. I am in and out the same day.
