Inconsistency in the level of care and concern for the customer. The level of service really depends on who you get (Tina execellent but she can’t make up for all others). Very poor quality of work as it relates to service technicians’ job performance/skills, knowledge, and abilities. Very limited. Too many life threatening errors are made. This location just doesn’t offer the quality of service that represents Firestone standards.

NO SERVICE EMPLOYEES HAD ARRIVED IN SERVICE AREA AT OPENING TIME OF 7:00 A.M. GIRL, COULD NOT GIVE ME AN APPROXIMATE TIME MY CAR WOULD BE READY, SAID CARS HAD TO BE MOVED IN THE SERVICE AREAS AND NO EMPLOYEES BACK THERE TO BEGIN WORK, SO SHE DIDN'T KNOW. OTHER CUSTOMERS STANDING IN LINE AND SHE WAS TALKING TO ONE GENTLEMAN ALL ABOUT HER VACATION INSTEAD OF TENDING TO BUSINESS. I WAS QUOTED 29.99 ON PHONE FOR OIL AND FILTER CHANGE, AND WHEN I STARTED TO PAY IT WAS 49.99 PLUS TAX EVEN AFTER I HAD A $10.00 COUPON. HAD TO WAIT BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MINUTES BECAUSE MY BILL WAS LOST AND THEY HAD TO CHASE IT DOWN, FINALLY AFTER TWO TRIPS TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT, THEY FOUND IT, TOTALLY UNORGANIZED, RUDE UPFRONT EMPLOYEE (LADY) I HAVE THREE VEHICLES AND HAVE BEEN TAKING THEM ALL TO FIRESTONE ON HWY. 51, MADISON, MS. I waited for nearly 3 hours only to be told nothing could be done for my tire, which they were busy that was fine. What made me pissed off was that someone who came in an hour and a half after me was done and checked way before me and I noticed the employees playing around in the shop while my car just sat in there.

I made an appointment for Monday at 10. I dropped the car off at 8. At 2:30 I still had not heard from them so I called, car was not ready, was told they would call me back in 15 min. No call back, then I called again at 3:30, I was told the mechanic was test driving it. At 4:30 still no word I called again, I was told by a different person and told they would look at it now... At 5:30 I called back again and was told they would need to order parts and it would be tomorrow. At double the price I was quoted. I took the car in for break pads and turning the roters. I will never take any of my cars to firestone again.

I have used the Madison HWY 51 Firestone several times and have had great service each time. Its also nice to see women actively working here. Makes me feel more at home. Things are always explained, prices always matched and I never have to be worried I will leave with more issues than I came in with. Highly recommend.

I have done business with Firestone for the last 30 years and have always had good service with reliable parts. The show room floor employees have always been courteous, efficient, and friendly. I always tell them to change the oil, do a check everything out, do the small stuff, and call me with anything over $200 before they do the work. My past experience has made me a loyal customer.

The people there were really nice and respectful. My vehicle wasn’t gonna be ready on the next day so they called and let me knew the parts hadn’t came in. It was doing the holidays and I knew it was a chance it would take longer to get the parts so it wasn’t a problem. I really appreciated them letting me know. I would recommend all of my family and friends to do business with them.

After specifically asking the attendant at the counter to take them to spare that was under the truck put it on the ground take the right front tire off and put a tire I had in the truck on that wheel and have that as the spare but that is not what happened . I just had my ball joints replaced three months ago he advised me that I needed new ball joints I explained to him that I'm not going to happen to have any new ball joints because I just replaced them all I wanted was the tire put on the ground that was in good shape the spare so he advised me that it couldn't be lined up after that because I wouldn't get new ball joints with your site $168 but I explain to them again that a hot ball joints were OK for me and just want to guitar on the front so for extra 48 hours he could take the car and snuggle up on the knot and I said could you put some grease in the grease cap hey said no grease doesn't go on the gross crap well I said OK so do you need up costing me 100+ dollars to put a tire on the front of my van so I guess that's normal for Firestone I know you got to stay in business on and I know business is good but I don't have 800 and and something dollars to get a new ball joints every three months .

The sales associates are OUTSTANDING, very professional and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. Generally people are not excited about having to buy new tires or have repair work done on their vehicle but at least the staff at the Madison location make the experience a little better and less stressful. I always take my vehicles to this location for every maintenance/repair need and would recommend them to anyone. If there ever were a problem I have confidence they would do everything to correct it with the customer's benefit in mind.

I started using Firestone 5 years ago for my auto care needs. I remember my very first experience being with “Mike” at the Pearl store. I needed a pretty significant amount of work done on my vehicle, and the cost was more than the cash I had on hand. Mike suggested I open a Firestone Credit Card, and led me through the process. I was approved, and Firestone completed the work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. From that point on, I was sold on Firestone…not just for the quality work I received, but because of the cornerstone that the company is built upon, honesty. “I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business”. –Harvey S. Firestone I continued my relationship with the Pearl store for the next 2 years, but as with all things, times change, and in 2015 I found myself relocating to Madison, MS. On a Saturday morning shortly after my move, I found my new hometown Firestone in Madison. There I was greeted by, and worked directly with Team Member, J.R. He was so pleasant, professional, and welcoming of me. He made me feel like I’d known him for years…just like I was at home with an old friend. Although I dreaded giving up the relationships I’d previously developed at the Pearl store, J.R. helped me to realize that Madison was going to be just as great! Honestly, I had no idea just how great the Madison location would become for me. Over time I have come to know J.R., Rick, Tina, Nester, Stoney, Dre, Daniel, Jake, and others, who have made my experience at Firestone unforgettable. What I love most about the Madison Team is their remarkable attitude! These individuals represent Firestone with integrity and a professionalism of service that not only meets, but exceeds expectation. One thing in life that means a great deal to me as a consumer and businessman is attitude. To have employees in today’s world who will tailor your experience in a courteous way and with a positive disposition is a rare asset. Unfailingly, this team delivers on that courtesy every single time with their sincere, service-oriented attitude, and the desire to ensure that the customer is completely satisfied. I wish I had more time to express some of specific ways that this team has gone above and beyond to accommodate me, but suffice it to say, they make the ‘ordinary’ ‘extraordinary'! A few months ago, I moved from Madison, but couldn’t bring myself to say goodbye, so I now drive 45 minutes one way in an effort to continue my business with Firestone of Madison. One can receive “service” anywhere, but it’s folks like those at the Madison, MS Firestone who provide exceptional service… service that goes above and beyond in an effort to accommodate the customer. We made an appointment to get two new tires installed. We were told they were in stock. After a two and a half hour wait we were told the tires were not in stock. He said he would upgrade the tires for the same price. The invoice was filed under someone else's name (was told this cannot be corrected). 7 days later we have the front driver axle replaced. They ordered the wrong axle after having the car there most of the day. We get the car back the next day and they forgot to replace a lug nut on the car. I find it strange that they did a complimentary inspection saying my brake pads need replacing yet they did not see a missing lug nut? To top it off they ordered a lug nut and again, it was the wrong one. My wife was told that they didn't have any in stock and to go to a parts store and buy one and they would reimburse her. They should have told her they ordered the wrong one or the parts place shipped the wrong one as he told me after calling shortly thereafter. I should have been skeptical of this place when they did the $20 inspection on my daughter's car over a week ago and said she needed an oil change and it was low on oil. I had changed the oil three days prior and after getting it home the oil level was perfect. I will NEVER return to this location. I will never recommend them to anyone that I know. This was our first experience with this location due to convenience of location and they were a total disappointment. Finally in an attempt to smooth things over, the sales manager gave me a card for a free oil change. I am sure they would order the wrong filter and forget to put the drain plug back. They will not touch another car of mine.

The whole staff was very courtesy and professional. I had my car towed to this Fiestone. JR Ponder worked me in to their very busy schedule on Saturday July 9th. so my car would be repaired that day. All of the employees were very courteous. I can't thank Firestone and JR enough. Also I was referred to this Firestone in Madison by a very kind family, the Longs, who were quite satisfied with this locations' performance and Mr Long called JR and explained my situation for me.

I set and appointment. The staff there was very friendly with me. The environment was clean and cool. They gave me the option to stay and wait or leave and come back whenever they called me. I stayed and waited for 3 hours, but I think that was a great time frame for a first visit being they had to thoroughly inspect my vehicle and replace the rear rotors and brakes. I give this location a 4 out of 5 since no one is perfect, but they were not shy from perfection in my opinion. I hope they keep up the good work.

I just recently found out that the engine filter was taken out of my car maybe 2 months ago. I decided to purchase one because it was recommended that I did need one by a salesman from Firestone. Not knowing, when the guy went to replace my filter, there was NOT one to be replaced......

I went to get my oil changed there. When I left my battery light came on. I took it back the next day. They could figure out what was wrong with it. I didn't drive my car the whole entire weekend. I got in my car again on a Tuesday and all of my light on my dash came on. My thing is this didn't happen until I took my car to firestone. They are saying its not their fault. But why is my lights are coming on after the fact.

I have used a nearby competitor for years for tires, as well as regular maintenance. No more! I have had two very professional encounters within the last six months. This last visit, Arthur was my intake customer service rep. Props to Arthur. However, he needs the support of the people who change the oil, rotate the tires and perform the maintenance. As both visits were preparatory to two long road trips and I made it there and back, safe and sound: suffice to say, all is well. Try them!

Stopped by this afternoon to gewt my truck serviced; asked if they had time to and was told yes. 45 mins. truck was pulled into bay and workordewr tossed on hood; 1 hour later at closing time nothing and even been started. They can forget getting any of my business because I left and WILL NOT COME BACK. If it takes aLL DAY TO CHANGE OIL THEN GET OUT AND JUST DO TIRES.

It was a good service job. My only complaint is that the people working up front need to be more proficient with operating the computer/billing system to speed that process up. The person dealing with my order had to go into the back 3 times to ask questions about how to do something on the computer system.
