Grand Rapids Entry-Level Auto Technician Job Requirements
What does it take to land an entry-level auto technician job in Grand Rapids? Job requirements for our apprentice mechanics include a valid driver’s license, be able to drive both customer and company cars, and a knack for learning mechanical tasks. A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is also required. (Similar qualifications are accepted, but an A.S.E certification is required within two years of employment.) Prior mechanical experience and completion of Vocational-Technical program are also a plus, but they are not required!
