I bought my car in because the ABS light was on. So I agreed to put it on the diagnostic machine for 99 bucks. Which should let me see the report,but they failed to do so. The light is off. They said It was a torn wire (ABS). Near the engine. I bought it home. Then the next day is was 11 degrees and put the heat on and the heat didnt work. So I bought it back and they said it was something with the harness being bad. Now from that being said should that pop up on the diagnostic machine. They did something to make it kind of work, but then last Saturday it rained and had to use the defogger and that did not work. I was stuck on the Expressway for a while. Which pretty much put my family in DANGER. I had to wipe down the window and then go as far as I can to pull over again and wipe the window until I got home. I must of stopped the truck at least a dozen time because of this. I wish they would just fix the problem for free and then I would never have to deal with Firestone on Lagrange again. My invoice number is 272664. Oh and I got a battery. By the way I asked for my old one back and didnt get it. VERY DISSAPPOINTED! When I bought it back they said they dont know why because they didnt even mess with those wires. Then they wanted to charge me 379.56 from invoice # 272768 to fix it. I'm not paying that if it was working fine before I bought my truck there! Come on! And why is labor so much if it only took less than an hr.? Then they want to try to make me happy with a rental. Lol! By which I still had to pay for insurance and still didnt get my 50 bucks deposit back.

I will never be going back here! I was told 1.5 hours for an oil change, it ended up being 2.5 hours cause they didnt have a filter in stock. You would think they would make sure they have one in stock when you make an appointment. They were rude to me and my boy friend. Not happy at all!

I scheduled my appointment ahead of time by phone. I informed them I needed an oil change for a specific Mercedes Diesel SUV. I knew that different oil/filters were needed. They informed me they had the proper parts for the oil change. Upon arrival I knew things were wrong when they told me a mistake was made and my car was entered as a Diesel engine. I informed the worker that this is correct. When he brought the car into the mechanic he did not inform him the car was a diesel. The only reason regular oil wasn't put in was because the mechanic thought something was wrong with my car as the oil was different. I went to grab lunch and was told to come back an hour later. Once I arrived back I sat for another 30 minutes. They then informed me they did not know the car was a diesel and they did not have the proper parts. The car was already drained of its original oil thus I had to sit and wait for parts to be delivered. On the first attempt, they only brought back the Diesel Oil filter, no oil to complete the service. On the second attempt the wrong oil was delivered and could not be used. On the third attempt they brought the correct oil. Overall it took 3.5 hours for an oil change. The store did not know they were running a special on oil changes and wiper blades even though they had a sign in the store. Also, I called the appointment in stating I was using the coupon from their website for this deal. After all of this there was no manager at the store so there was nothing extra could be done for me as far as service reimbursement or future oil changes.

2 wheels had deep gouges from tire machine, metal was raised would cause a nice cut to fingers or hands if not noticed

These people are crooks! They try to force unneeded work on you, try to sell you unneeded items, then say its against the law if they don't do what they say. I tried to get me front brake pads replaced, and they looked at my engine, even though I said no. They even rotated my tires without permission. They also miss things, like when my battery was about to die. When it finally did a week after a service, the person I spoke to said they knew, but it wasn't important enough at the time.

I took my 06 ford focus to the firestone in lagrange il to get some work done on it.When the sales rep told me it was going to be $676 dollars for a rear brake job and oil change I was shocked. I told him I thought it would be around $400. He started typing on the keyboard and got it down to $480. I reluctantly said ok after I had been there over 2 hours allready. Does Firestone mark it up that much just to see if the customer will pay without saying anything. I just want an honest price, no games.Then they pulled my vehicle out and said it was ready. There was 4 lug nut caps missing on one wheel. Not a very good first impression.

I don't usually fall prey to black-friday offers. Yet knowing that I needed tires for the summer on my Inifiniti sport coupe, I approached online tire promotions with extreme caution. My son pushed me to take advantage of the tire outlet and then have them delivered to an authorized installer. I selected Firestone Complete Auto Care in LaGrange to do the work. Since fall was already upon us, I simply needed my old summer tires removed and the new tire mounted and balanced. I lugged the wheels over in my wife's car only to find that the online tire company sent them to another location. Lenny was working the desk when I arrived. He didn't even seem to blink when the error was discovered. He offered to pick them up an bring them here so I could get my wheels back the next day. His service was above and beyond and he didn't charge me a dime extra. I will brig my vehicles to Firestone in LaGrange from this point on.

My brother and I have seperate account through Firestone, every time he or I would go there something always is screwed up. It's annoying to get calls for his car and vice Versa. Fix or you will lose business

Never used any shops. Did not trust any, but this shop has turned that around. I was very weary of it at first, but after having my tire replaced and alignment done PERFECTLY after taking it to 2 other shops before them. Absolutely amazing service.

I think Firestone should have a policy were if your going to repair a Tire you shouldn't have to wait as long as people are waiting for other repairs . It took me almost 2 Hrs. Just to Replace a MannTire !

My car wouldn't start twice over the weekend. It was not a battery issue, as I could use my lights and power windows. It was not clicking when I turned the key the entire way. It was just not connecting to start the engine. I had to jiggle the gear shift through the gears a few times, and even had to start it in neutral once. However, Firestone couldn't figure out what the problem is. They also did not seem to care very much that I was concerned about being stranded in my car, most likely with my kids. They just kept telling me, "Well we looked everything over and it seems fine". My only consolation is that they did not try to sell me something that I did not need.

Starting from the manager to the crew, they're all polite and friendly. I think they're honest and precise in their recommendations and diagnostic suggestions. I'd been going for more than 10 years now to this Firestone branch and the one in West Covina, California branch. I haven't had a problem, great service!

I was encouraged to purchase the Bosch windshield wipers for $18 each because of the "rebate" to buy one get one free. I have yet to receive the rebate and it has been over two months. When I contacted Customer Service they gave me a telephone number with a perpetual recording to call. Walgreens used the fake rebate promotion for years, so I went to a reliable pharmacy. I will do the same for auto care.

Since Ed left and Brad the Service quality has gone down. Like no more customer relationships. Like do the job and get the cuscustomers out. Also, the deals you use to do has changed alot. Just hard to see such a Great Quality it was. To how it is now thats why I cannot truely answer cause since the change I haven't gone much any more:(

came in for the 10 dollar vehicle inspection. They said oil leak. I liked under car and observed power steering and transmission fluid leaking as well. The muffler was hanging and they were supposed to top off the washer fluid part of the coupon but didn't. Perhaps because the vehicle looks like a beater they made little too no attempt to analyze it well. It is serious to me because my 16 year old drives it.
