The first time I went in I had gotten a flat tire and I didn't have alot of money. The guys there welcomed me and told me not to worry. I wad emotional and stressed and they were so understanding and let me vent and they explained everything in detail and made me feel so at ease so I decided to come back again! This time was the same kind of experience. They explained everything in detail and listened to my needs and saved me money too!

I went in with a screw in my tire and the guys were amazing. Got me in and out quicken than promised as well as diagnosed an issue I had asked them about. So please with the service I received that I made my next appt right then and there. Thank u to Vito and his team.

Bad experience. I felt there was no respect for my time. I had an appointment at 11:00 to install two tires and they kept me waiting for 4 and a half hours JUST TO INSTALL TWO TIRES! I will not come back to this place nor I will recommend to anyone to come here.

Worst experience ever, poor maintenance service. I had patronized this facility previously and had a good experience, but this visit was the absolute worst. I waited 4.5 hours for replacement of 1 tire. Upon finally leaving, my tire that should have been inflated to 32 Psi was at 39 Psi. My sensor and not been reset so I had to return twice for that to be done. I must also mention that I have an appointment for the service and still waited all that time. I will not return to this facility and would not recommend this location.

I went to a competitor to have a battery installed and nearly paid $200. I found a coupon for $98.99 on the internet and the whole price was around $130. Tim was very helpful. Installation took a lot shorter then they quoted.

Brought the car in to get a tire repaired early on a Sunday morning. They did not have my tire in stock, but service manager Joe said he would call the warehouse when it opened on Monday to track it down. I forgot to call to remind him, but Joe remembered anyway and had the tire mounted and waiting for me Monday evening. Great service. I've taken 3 cars to this shop for repairs over the years, and they always treat me fairly and honestly.

Great Place !!! I went in to get a flat repaired. The tire needed to be replaced because of a nail in an unrepairable area. It was recommended that all the tires be replaced as the rubber was dry and cracking. I explained that I had brought my tires from Firestone in Mt. Prospect, Illinois (925 S. Elm St.) in 2015 and was upset that the tires had worn out so soon. I asked them to look up my history and they saw that my tires were purchased in June of 2015 and that I have been a loyal Firestone customer. The manager looked at my tires and said he thought that they should be covered by Firestone and agreed to replace them with prorated consideration. It appears that the tires I brought at the other store went bad because they were not fresh when I brought them. They located tires for my car and made sure that they were fresh and they had them sent over to be installed. I was upset about the fact that the Firestone tires that I brought a few years earlier from the shop in Mt. Prospect had worn out so soon. I always put Firestone tires on my car so I know that they are great tires but even the best tires wear out once they get too old. The Firestone at 9549 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60643 will have my business and I will highly recommend them to others. They fixed a bad situation and kept me as a loyal customer to Firestone. They are great !!!!

This firestone team were great. They found what was wrong with my car in a matter of a few hours. They did what my local repair shop couldnt. They took the time to explain why my car was acting the way it was and what could be done to correct the problem. The repairs were a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

got my brakes done and they continued to make noise after being serviced. Took it back and had them check it out. When I left, it continued to do the same thing. Went back yet again, and this time I had a ride along. Issue didn't occur. After dropping off my ride along to hear the noise, it began yet again. I see I need to just chalk the 830 dollars I spent as a loss and go someplace else who can fix the issue. Customer service at the counter is very good. This is the only reason I give them 2 stars

Greater by a great female employee, she was kind, patient, & explained everything. Ordered up an oil change done. Was told by the female associate they would cap of fluids that were low and check the tire. Got my car back and oil light not reset after oil change, nor were the tire pressure checked. I know this because the oil light & tire sensor light was on. Only made me question wether they even did the job I ordered and paid for. Ended up resetting the oil light and putting air in my tire myself. Got a survey from Firestone that asked me about my experience there. Going thru the survey there's a question that asked if they explained my bill to me. The male associate that cashed me out simply asked me if I wanted the receipt printed or emailed to me via being prompted by the screen.

I had 4 new tire placed and when I went to go somewhere the next day aLL 4 tires were flat. I had air put in the tires and drove back to Firestone on 95 street in Chicago and the service tech had all 4 tires replaced and I've had no problems since.

I had my tires and alignment done about a week ago and I was very impressed with the way that they took care of my car and what a difference it made on the road I travel about 250 miles a day I'm a sales rep and he really is reassuring to have a good set of tires and a good alignment on the car

I used them for a problem I had with my coils. They kept burning out on my car. I spent over $800 to fix them and they kept burning out. I had to bring my car back over 4 times and each time it would happen more and more frequently. Finally I took my car to the dealership and I havent had a problem since. I ended up being out the same amount of money twice but at least the problem is resolved. I wouldn't bother with Firestone, expensive labor for mediocre service.

Arrived at 8:45 for a 9:00 am appointment to have two new tires mounted. Agreed to have alignment done as well. Four hours later, the job still was not done. Excuse was that two 8:00 appointments were for alignments and only one bay can do this. Hmm, alignment takes about 30 minutes. And how long does it take to mount two new tires? No communication or check-in by staff about the delay. Wasted half of a day when I planned on about an hour.

Use at your own risk. They are hit or miss. Sometimes they can do quality work but othertimes they struggle just trying to repair the problem correctly after a few attempts. They do not own up to their errors and it appears management accept this from their employees without correction, retraining or more oversight. My feedback has been provided to service manager, store manager then ultimately regional office both via email and phone calls but no apologies or acknowledgement of my inconveniences. It is a shame that this neighborhood location has let down the neighborhood.
