    I took my car early because of prior scheduling conflicts and they finished with it was even scheduled to be there. They were so efficient, taking advantage of any spare time, that they fixed my car quickly. I've never seen such efficiency in a car repair center.

    These guys were awesome. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. They explained things to me in a way that I understood what was going on. When they found another big problem with my car, they went the extra mile working on my car even though it risked going past closing time, and still got it done in a timely manner. They fixed a problem I had with my turn signal bulb socket, even though I thought it needed to be replaced entirely. I'm usually afraid to go to places like this alone, since I'm a young, ignorant woman and people seem to take advantage of that for sales, but they didn't pressure me into things I couldn't afford or services I didn't really need. On top of all of that, I was 30 minutes late to my appointment and instead of turning me away with a reschedule, they were totally cool with it. I was very impressed with the service and I will definently be returning here for my car needs.

    I have been taking my truck to Firestone for over 10 years. the reason is because of the service i get with them. They are always very friendly and courteous, and Mike at the Fairview Ave. location always seems to get the job done right the first time. Props to Nick (tech) for the job he did.

    We recently had work done on our 2004 Buick Rendezvous. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and it was done by their top qualified specialist.     I don't write comments but feel compelled to say Jimmy and everyone involved in fixing my car provided me the highest level of customer service I've experienced in a long time. I had a significant amount of work that needed to be completed on the front end of my Mercedes (upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, ball joints) as well needing to purchase a set of new tires. All told, about 6-7 hours of work. Jimmy told me what was needed to fix it and why. He showed me afterwards the parts that were replaced and the problems with them as well as showing me on my car the new parts which were installed. The mechanic (I'm sorry I forget his name) even came in on his day off to fix my car...something that is very rare anymore. I have a follow up appt that needs to be made next week for which Jimmy said he'd coordinate...I have no doubts it will happen. Over time people often forget the specifics of an encounter, but what is remembered is how they felt afterwards. Kudos to Firestone on Fairview. They went above and beyond my expectations...a feeling I won't forget. Thank you.

    I paid for "lifetime alignments" here. I have had to take my car back numerous times that has 4 NEW tires and was told about my steering pull its "just torque steer" Oh ok? Its "just" wearing out my tires. Excellent. He then blames it randomly on motor mounts. Little did he know i have all new mounts and have rebuilt my entire car engine and it has a new transmission- why would i have new mounts.. My car has no symptoms of bad mounts. It was just something he randomly said when he couldnt answer why the car was still pulling. What a joke. I simply needed the alignment corrected and after 2 attempts it STILL pulls. I asked it to be checked for bent parts and it wasnt checked either time but my bumper was hanging off my car when i got it back. Really? Thats what i paid for. I also waited 2 hours! when i had a SCHEDULED appointment of 1 pm "our alignment tech is on lunch" I was told. I sat through his entire lunch break. It then took him another HOUR to get it poorly aligned.

    I used them to replace tires on my Mercedes. Everywhere I go there are no options. $500 per tire and done. Firestone gave me options with warranty, prices and mileage. I loved having options! They fit me in on a Sunday before we drive back to Missouri! I have new tires and I am confident in making my trip home safely because of Firestone and they didn't break my bank on tires!

    I bought a set of 4 new tires from this facility aprox a month ago, partially because of location and free safety/courtesy checks of my vehicle prior to taking any trips. This past Friday, I went in with just that purpose.....a quick tire & fluids check prior to driving to Portland (about a 7 hour drive). After standing around waiting for service for 15 minutes, the lady behind the desk finally acknowledged my presence & said I would be helped shortly. She was busy dealing with one customer. After waiting another 10 minutes, the clerk went out to the service area & asked one of the techs to come in & assist me. He obviously was too busy entering data into a computer to bother to come help a customer as he never moved from his work station. I finally gave up & left with the intention of returning Saturday morning. Saturday morning, I arrived at 7:15 hoping to get ahead of the typical weekend rush. The manager indicated it would be at least an hour before he could pull my SUV in for the trip check. He had ONE mechanic on duty, who was currently working on ONE vehicle. When I asked what the problem was, he said something along the lines of.....'Well, it's hard working seven days a week". Well, if that's the case, then maybe you need to look for another job, or do better scheduling. I left, determined never to return. I don't know who, if anyone, ever performs customer service evaluations for this chain, but they need to reinforce basic management, scheduling and customer service skills at this location. Again, I will NEVER return to this Firestone store and if this is indicative of Firestone service nationwide, You can forget ever making any further money off this disgruntled customer.

    I bought brakes Jan. 23 from this run-down old store because the dealer said I needed new pads (they were not making noise but were worn down too far), Firestone was cheaper, and I had a Firestone card. Boy do I regret it! They made a rubbing sound every time I applied the brakes and eventually started squeaking. In mid-February, I called and made an appt. to bring the car in all the way back over to Boise (they closed the Nampa store years ago) to have them checked. After sitting there about 45 mins, I am informed that they can't figure out if there's anything wrong with them (I used to work at a parts and service store years ago, and I know what bad brakes sound like) and that they actually don't have anyone there with high enough training to evaluate them!!! (Why did they even make the appt. then???) He suggested that I call the other Boise store (on Broadway), and I had to ASK him for their number. At the other store, the manager Chris understood what I was saying the problem was and thought it best to replace the pads at no charge, which I appreciated. However, these rub, too, and have also started making the same squeaking sound when I apply the brakes! Totally disgusted and wished I had paid more to go to the dealership to get quality brakes!

    Bought a set of tires for my SUV. Shopped around and as I am one to look for the best tire for my money I found this store to be just that. I am pleased with the tires and the service I have received from them. I did have one problem when I had the new tires put on (minor) and it took a few times back to the store before I got it fixed. I felt like they made every effort to remedy this problem for us. After having our tires rotated we did find the same store accommodating but did feel the person who helped us was a little worn thin and it showed. Overall we were pleased with the store.

    Justin diagnosed my check engine light and showed me several things that could be causing the issue and let me choose which ones to do based on his input and my own knowledge of the vehicle history. Parts were ordered and my vehicle was repaired next day while I waited. So far the issue appears to be solved. Great work!

    The customer service interaction was great. The actual service was unacceptable. I went in for a rotation, balance, oil change and alignment. The technicians failed to tighten the lugs on the passenger side front tire. I had to take half a day off work to figure out what was wrong with the front end of the car. Oil was spilled on the block so I got to smell oil for several days in the car.

    Had my brakes done and when I got the truck back, they did not stop well. I called them and was told I should have bought the more expensive pads, that the cheaper pads dont work well. Also, they serviced my truck and left the radiator cap off, my truck overheated and soon after the engine developed a miss. I took it back to firestone and they said it was my fuel injectors and after a $500 fuel system service, it still had a miss. Took it to another mechanic who diagnosed a head gasket leak, caused by the truck overheating due to firestone leaving my radiator cap off!

    Firestone is the only place I trust for my family's vehicles. I have Destination AT tires on three vehicles and have never had a problem. The staff is friendly and well trained and they always shoot me straight. They're my go-to not only for tires but also for most repairs. And the coupons definitely make it more affordable. When my older boy decided to go to college out of state, one of the first things I did was check to see if there was a Firestone store there (there was) - one less thing for Dad to worry about!
