I use to be a dedicated Firestone customer in the 1980's then issue arose regarding their services countrywide. I never went back till my need for tire services recently. Was very pleased with their services and care of my vehicle. At least I can say with certainty that this Norwich location provides great and reliable service. Thank you for your help!

They greeted me as I walked in, they outlined my options, helped me decide what work to have done by explaining all of the options, and they gave me an estimate price that they met. I even asked one of them "if this was your wife's car what would you do" and his answer made sense. They're extremely nice and knowledgeable about car care.

This crew is wonderful! We don't like taking our car anywhere else for service. Sometimes that means waiting for an appointment. However, the crew is great about doing whatever it takes to get our car in sooner. They are professional, courteous, and quick.

This place tried to upcharge my almost 500 dollars for parts that I priced where they get them from across the street and got a price under 500. They wants to charge me just for the parts almost 1000 and that's with NONE of the labor. That is not gonna happen. I understand maybe 100 on top of the price thet really cost cause they are a business but to try and charge you double the what you would pay if you go across the street and get the exact same parts yourself is just ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone ever. Even my worst enemy.

THESE GENTLEMAN NEED A COOLED SHOP AREA!!! Seriously, went to another location (Newington) when I was in a bind and was so impressed with the extra level of care given to the guys doing the hard work in the back. The guys in Norwich work just as hard and in a smaller, hotter shop. They deserve it!

On June 26th I had service scheduled to have 4 tires removed and replaced. The professionalism and service shown was outstanding and I was notified every step of the way of what was happening in the process of replacing my tires right up to the end when completing final invoicing. I would highy reccomend this service for any customer looking for exceptional service and advice .

Daniel Calderone {manager} along with Matt {tech} were excellent in their explaining front brakes and mentioned also that the rear brakes needed some attention... Fixed in a timely manner at a reasonable price I have All good things to report. Will return Soon !

I've been a customer at this location for over 10 years. Although management and other staff has mostly completely changed, the quality of customer service and work has been incredible throughout. The staff keeps you updated on the status of your vehicle as much as they can, even during busy times. Recommended work is not pressured, unless they feel it is a safety issue OR would be much more costly to put off. (i.e. more labor to bring your vehicle back and start over vs performing service while it is already being worked on .) Promotional emails are greatly appreciated as well. The biggest complaint that I hear from others is cost, which is where those promotions and coupons come in handy. As they say, you get what you pay for. Firestone, specifically the Norwich location, is one place that I am willing to spend the extra money. It is well worth it to know that my car is in good hands.

Super friendly. They took the time to explain clearly what was needed and even showed me the different areas while my car was on the lift. For their honesty and friendly service, they have earned a lifetime customer from me. Great job!

11 derek was very helpful to me he explained what was wrong what had to be done to fix it how much each item was going to cost he is the best ive seen and he was very courteous and patient showing me every thing absolutely excellent ive brought my three cars here exclusively and have never had a problem always excellent service and the work done is top of the line its a great company ! And great workers ill always come here!

As always my vehicle was taken in for the scheduled oil change at the time of the appointment, no waiting around while my car sat in the parking lot. The service was performed in a timely manner with no issues. The folks that checked me and out were polite and courteous. I no reason to go anywhere else!

Courteous, friendly, energetic staff together with a clean, organized facility made my visit a pleasant and comfortable experience; such a relief knowing that our vehicle was in adept and trustworthy hands. Manager Danny and Technician Joshua kept us apprised of our repair progress and valued our input on how to proceed based on various associated options. Awesome service but the wait with an appointment scheduled is ridiculously long. With an appointment your service for an oi change should be no longer than 30 minutes.

There was an issue with rotors that needed to come from dealer so car had to stay from Saturday night until Monday night. The service manager Dan was wonderful to work with he provided ride back to store,explained whole process and kept me in the loop. He would have gotten a rental car but it was after 8 pm but he provided a ride to a party I was attending. The technician Allen and Anthony were great to stay overtime and work to fix issue as soon as possible. It was a unique issue for everyone and the staff was very professional,thoughtful to my needs as a customer, and were more than accommodating.

Expect a lengthy wait. Little or no communication in your vehicle's progress. Tech was taken off my car to service an " by appointment" car. I had my oil changed. I was there approximately 2 1/2 hours. The crew was nice, though. I'd go back. The outside of the store was littered with cigarette butts and the trash cans everywhere were on the verge of overflow. Way too much wasted space in the large receiving room and an itty bitty tv lounge where people argue over the remote. The crew was friendly, that is probably the only reason I'd go back.

Went in for oil change, alignment, and winter tire swap. Alignment came put worse, and they just rotated my summer tires, I had to go back again and loose more time at work to get it fixed

I have been using Firestone for oil changes since their special on synthetic oil has been a good deal. When in recently I asked about a quote for tires. After about 30 minutes (while watching a tech poke around the underside of the car), I was told I needed ball joints and whatnot and since the parts were only available from Chrysler, the estimate was $1200! Supposedly the parts were $600 and labor $600. I could tell that the service advisor was somewhat hesitant to talk to me about this, as I'm sure he too realized this was a ridiculous amount for this work. Well I wasn't about to go for this so consulted my own mechanic. The parts were in fact avail from a known retail source, and were less then $200. He took about an hour to change them out so the total was less than $400. I returned to Firestone a couple weeks later to see about tires, as I was told over the phone I could get the "buy 3 get one free" deal. It turns out you really don't get one free - they just reduce the price from $99 to $72 each so the total is still the same (and in fact the invoice shows I bought 4 tires). Then they wanted to charge me well over $100 to mount them. However, they were pushing some sort of charitable program that if I bought for $5 would save me $63 on the tire installation, so I went with that. I am just now very suspicious of how they do business, and am shopping around for other options in my area.

To whom this may concern: My husband his name is Cecil Dekle he went to firestone norwich ct on January 19,2015 and have my h2 hummer break repaired. He went there early in the morning and was told that the car will be fixed by 3pm then 3pm came the car was not ready yet , they said it should be ready by 6pm then 6pm came they told my husband that the car has to be in the shop for further check up. Now, my husband had wasted whole day in the shop. After couple days (i believe) and when we got the car the SERVICE AIR SUSPENSION came on. My husband then called the firestone and told them what happened and the guy who spoke to him told him that h2 is a very complicated car that his guys might have touch something. He added that my husband should take the care and they will check it. My h2 is bouncing like no tomorrow hurting my neck. Due to bad weather until now my husband hasnt take the h2 back but he will be soon plus we have a baby that makes it even harder to go back there. Bottom line is because your guys mess up the car you must give priority to take care of the car and not have my husband wait for the whole day we have things to do too.

I always use Firestone for all my vehicle needs. They are very knowledgeable and wont do an unnecessary repairs. They are very straight forward with what you do and dont need, so if you're unsure of repairs needed i would consult with Firestone first!

I have used this Firestone location for 10 years and have never been dissatisfied. They have successfully kept my 240,000 mile old car running like a champ. While not cheap, as qaulity car care never is, the team at this Firestone has done everything they can do to make auto care affordable and they have given me every deal they could, even if i didn't know a promotion was going on. I have spent many a day watching my car get repaired at this location and will continue to come back.

Twice I tried to book a time for an oil change only to be told that it wouldn't be necessary. The first time I showed up I had to wait an hour and a half before my car even got into the service bay. The second time I showed up I was told it would be 2 1/2 to 3 hour wait. Needless to say I have found a new place to have my oil changed. I recommend you start taking appointments for oil changes or dedicate a bay for just oil changes.

I had a coolant flush service performed and they did not bleed the system . On the drive home I noticed I had no heat. I had to drive back to the shop and have them bleed the coolant system. Pretty obvious they didn't bother to check their work.

Firestone in Norwich always aims to give me the best service without talking me into doing something that is not necessary. With awd vehicles you typically need 4 new tires even if you just need one. Firestone found the same type of wheel for me to only have to buy one vice four.

***GOOD THINGS*** ~I bought 4 NEW Primewell Tires (most basic) for less than $400 (including mounting, balancing,etc.) AWESOME PRICE. ~Includes basic Limited WARRANTEE (manufacturing defects only 40K miles). ~FREE Tire Rotation Every 5,000 miles. ~Knowledgeable Supervisor/Manager **BAD THINGS** ~If you don't mention anything Extra you want, they won't offer it (specifically ROAD HAZARD PROTECTION; [in case the tire(s) get punctured and need to be repaired or replaced.] The one-time extra charge varies and is a set % of the tire price) *Example: I didn't ask for Road Hazard, so they didn't bring it up. I had to pay full price on 2 more tires within 6 months; Both passenger-side tires had one screw in each. ~INEXPERIENCED service techs (average age around early 20's) -They know the BASICS, but NOT the "Tricks of the Trade" -They rely heavily on computer-outs to find problems; -Not as good at troubleshooting, visual inspections, and other skills that are developed with experience and understanding. *Example: Before my tire rotation, I noticed a screw in my side wall. The tech rotated the tires, but didn't inspect any of them. I pointed the screw out to him, he sold me a new tire.

Asked for my truck to be checked for winter and noticed the tech couldn't put his phone down. Once I got my keys back I was told my truck was ready for winter. I asked so the battery is good, they said yes.It wouldn't start for me two weeks later. So I go a jump and Went to a store for free testing and was told there is a bad cell in the battery and that my alternator was going bad and isn't working right as well. I Ya e been using firestone since 2009 and this is the first time they have messed up. That's the only reason I didn't put one star. I think it should be policy that no tech should be useing his phone while working on a vehicle due to it being a safety issue and making work Quality going down.

I have been a long customer of Firestone for repairs & inspections. My Norwich CT store gives very good service overall, though limited services. Including myself, a greater number of turbo diesel cars and trucks are on the roads, but my Norwich store does not have diesel-trained personnel to diagnose & repair cars such as mine. At this point, i am extremely limited in the auto services they can offer my diesel. This means i have to take my business to other auto shops and dealerships, which is very discouraging.

I have used this location many times for brakes, oil changes, tires, battery and a clutch replacement on my son's car. They have always been courteous, and always kept me informed of status on vehicle repairs.
