I recently came into Firestone in New London and the two gentlemen that helped me with my new battery were exceptional! Not only were they quick with service, they were also kind, friendly, compassionate, and were genuinely happy to offer advice and information. I cannot say enough about them! I am a customer for life and highly recommend Firestone to anyone reading this review!

I have been taking my cars to this branch of the Firestone companies for years due to a fantastic knowledgeable always going beyond in providing education and exceptional service manager/mechanic Frank DeGrasse...and tho he has moved on now to another store his group in New London continues to be fabulous under the supervision of Reed, and my great auto service by technician Brownie. The OUTSTANDING customer service provided by DANNY INGLES! I called ahead the day before explaining what I needed, my time restraints etc. Danny told me when to arrive even though the morning schedule was quite full. He said there's a waiting area with free WIFI, TV and coffee. Arrived the next day & my car was taken in within just a few minutes - we talked thru all of my issues (brakes, rotors, tires & BUDGET), they performed the initial inspection, kept me updated thru EVERY step of the way, providing printed alignment results, options for repairs & costs and yes, entertainment - Danny is VERY personable and has impeccable customer service skills! There was no pressure with up-selling for random or un-needed product/services. I was there for about 4.5 hours and it actually went by quite quickly. DAN IS THE MAN!!! He told me that he'd been transferred from Norwich to New London just about a month ago to help bring up the sales in the store. You will NOT be disappointed. He is FANTASTIC, has PHENOMENAL customer service skills and an OUTSTANDING personality. Truly an asset to FIRESTONE. My Mom's car also needs an assessment of her brakes and other services and have HIGHLY recommended she go to see Danny too. PS - he told us he sings well but we didn't get a sampling of his talent. It was great service. They have a big TV to watch while you wait for your car to be worked on. The manager that took my car in was great and clearly explained everything that was going on with my car. I got a simple oil change and they were very helpful to me.

What a terrible experience at this "service center". I went in stating that I had an ABS warning light on. I also stated that my car was pulling from the left front. They sold me new front brakes, tried to tell me I needed much more too. To make a long story short, I got in my car to leave, the ABS warning lights were still on and the car still pulled to the left. They fixed nothing! I am disabled and rely on every penny I can get. It is such a shame when an outfit like this scams and hurts people. It takes a special kind of person to look you in the eye, shake your hand, and send you on your way after they did nothing to fix your problem. Because of my condition, I spend a lot of time on the web. I will be spending a lot of that time warning people about this place. Don't go!

Write your instructions down...simply and carefully...and ensure any contingencies are acknowledged in writing before leaving these guys alone with your vehicle. My experience is that hundreds of dollars of "miscommunication" is one of their specialties.

I have brought my cars to this Firestone place five years now. I won't go to anyone else. Frank always treats me with respect and professionalism and the service guys are all courteous, very good and efficient- they all seem happy which says a lot about this place!

When the battery indicator light csme on I was not sure what the problem was but knew it would not be good but the professionals at the New London CT Firestone went above and beyond I service my truck, answer my qyestions and explain the repairs to my full satisfaction. Reed, the service manager, made a point of making sure I was completely satisfied and happy with both the repair and service. The service was performed quickly and professionally. I will absolutely and enthusiastically recommend my local Firestone garage to my friends, fsmily and co-workers.

I used them to install 4 sets of tires I bought online. From the minute I got out of the car, I was met by a Firestone representative; the Firestone attendant was very courteous and was very professional and knowledgeble. They informed me at various intervals how the work was progressing. When it came time to pay, I discovered I lefted my wallet at home, and they offered to take me home so I could retrive it. They took time out to do this for me, when they did'nt have to. I'm am very appreciative of that. I was treated like a person. if I have a question about my vehicle, they took the time to answer my concerns. This type of customer service in my humble opinion makes Firestone Complete Auto Care second to none. Thank you for your professionalism and courteous service. A satified customer.

This shop quoted me $550 for a set of Michelins for my Fiat. Actual bill came in at $650. Upon inspection of the work, I discovered one rim that had the clear coat butchered during the install of the tire (see pictures). Manager said he'd take care of it and never followed through. Found all rims were marred on the inside from the tire machine (or the guy who wasn't trained to use it properly). Went back a year later to have them plug a tire, which they did, but the tire kept leaking. Never went back, my mistake for giving them a second try. If you care about your car and don't want to be lied to about the pricing, this is NOT the shop for you. Even though they're right up the street from where I work, they're on my permanent avoid list.

My first experience with Firestone was this past Friday and it was such positive one! Both employees Kris and Steve took great care of my truck. I stopped in expecting only to get pricing and maybe make an appointment only to find that the tires I needed were in stock and able to be installed on my truck within an hour or so! The pricing and the tires were exactly what I was looking for and I'm extremely happy with the entire job. I'll go back to Firestone in New London for all of my tire needs from here on out!

Kris really made my whole day. I had a screw in my tire and needed to be to a meeting before 9:30 am. He promised me that my tire would be changed within thirty minutes and it was! He even sat with me for moment and asked if he could make me a coffee, if I needed help with the wifi, and explained exactly how my warranty worked. I left there in a much better mood than I came in with. I drive past three different tire stores to get to Firestone in New London, well worth the 35 minute trip.

I took my 2015 STI in to get a nail in the tire fixed. Good news was the nail didn't go all the way through, bad news is that when it was taken off the rim to inspect it was poorly handled. I get back to find my rim has chips and scratches all the way down to the metal. Not only that, but it was then taken for a rough test drive, and for what there wasn't even anything wrong. So I ended up paying for a ruined rum and a car that smelled like sweat when it was all said and done. Moral of the story is if you value your car in any way shape or form don't take it here you will be disappointed.

I normally have a gut feeling about people trying to pull a fast one over me, especially since I’m a female. This time I felt like they listened to my needs and my expectation. I felt confident they got the job done and worked within my budget. They will definitely see me next month for the remaining things that need to get done. For now, I’m happy not to see the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light comes on. LOL!

Hello, Great service at the store and I WILL be back. A week later, the upper radiator hose blew off while I was starting a trip. I thought Firestone Checked it, but I am not going to blame anyone. Was checking the hoses not part of the courtesy check?

Returned to Firestone New London to have a LOF service performed on my newly purchased 2011 Jeep Liberty Limited. (This was my first service on the vehicle since purchasing it from my parents as a result of the January 2010 totaling of my 2005 Subaru Forester is a result of a rear end collision on I-95 in Providence.) Was I lucky I brought it in for servicing! While up on the service lift, a leak in my Jeep's water pump was discovered! WHEW! Great catch! Had the pump replaced during the LOF and left the facility very relieved! Since I use my Jeep in direct conjunction with my current transportation position, a potential disasterous breakdown as a result of a disabled water pump could have put my vehicle out-of-service for quite a bit of time therefore directly causing me loss of income. I'd never go anywhere else! They are honest about price and what needs to be done. They are more than happy to show you what they are describing on your vehicle. If you want your vehicle to be fixed correct, this is the place! I've learned the expensive way that firestone is the best! I wish I would have started going there a lot sooner! Hopefully this review will help in someone's search for a mechanic.

I regularly bring in my 1999 Ford Ranger and 2006 Dodge Caravan in for service and am always happy with the results. They give me upfront cost estimates so there aren't any surprises and the work quality is always excellent. I love that I can use their free wifi so I can work on my laptop while I wait. Most of all their estimated turnaround time is always fast and accurate meaning I don't have to spend alot of time away from home. Overall a great crew there and I will always bring our cars in for regular service and upgrades as needed.

I had gone in for an emergency repair (and a brake fluid change) my total bill came to over $650 the service writer mentioned the credit card & I'd save 10% the shift manager got very pushy on the credit card then after the emergency repair & brake service was done- they came up with the list of what they found -- big push like my battery was about to drop dead (no it is not) If I went with their full list it would have been well over $1000 more dollars then when I was paying the man that was checking me out spent an extraordinary amount of time on super high pressure- Haranguing/ Badgering me to take out the credit card I have walked out on sales personnel using tactics less that 1/4 as pushy side note - I had gone in on a different day for an OIl change and lube I made the mistake of getting a high mileage oil change ( was used to paying about $40 for one- that one cost me $79) only 1 (3-4) of the guys I dealt with on that visit seemed more concerned with paying attention to My situation & really explaining (well) what was going on and needed I am going elsewhere for any future servicing somewhere where they aren't as concerned with maximizing how much $$ they squeeze out of their customers (and commission they make from credit card sign ups) but giving the customer good Honest service at a fair price

Frank and his guys do great work. I have travel over 30 minutes to this Firestone because of the quality work and service they have. I have used them once before after a friend referred me to them. My 1st set of tires for my F250 wore prematurely and Frank was able to help pick a better tire for my truck

Having been to this location a total of 2 times for service. I found the personnel to be very nice. The service was adequate as all I got was an oil change. I found the wait time to be long. Used a coupon both times and was pleased with cost. Even though the service was not overwhelming I would go back again.

I always use Firestone, in New London, CT for all my repairs. Frank the store manager always makes sure that my repairs are done to my liking. The prices are fair and reasonable. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Toyota!

We have been Cingular to the Truman St location for about 5 years. Always accommodating and on time. Fair prices and not looking for the one time big sale. Restrooms are clean & convenient. Frank (the GM) & Reid (his assistant) are friendly, attentive, and sensitive to customer's needs. This place appears to be able to service all makes of vehicles.
