I went in for Emissions Inspection (Milford) and was told it would be around 40 minutes. So I got comfortable in one of the sofas & I started in on my breakfast (sandwich & hot tea). They called my name and said my inspection was done. I said it was only 20 minutes. He smiled and said yes it was! Love that place.

Was extremely broke but my Honda needed an oil change. Nelson really bent over backwards to make sure I was well taken care of plus gave me a great deal too! Nice to be able to eat something other then Ramen this week AND take proper care of my car. When its time for more serious work to be done I'll be back.

Super friendly and professional staff and a job well done. They installed tires I had purchased elsewhere quickly and at a reasonable price. I could tell from the others in the waiting room that they have a loyal customer base - everyone in there was a repeat customer.

My car went in fro an oil change and came out with over an inch deep scratch on the driver side fender, plus a shoe print on my driver side door near the mirror. NEVER GO HERE THE MANAGER INSISTED HIS EMPLOYEES DIDN'T DO IT BECASUE THEY AREN'T ALOUD TO WEAT BELTS! SO I GUESS THE HOODIES AND COATS SINCE ITS WINTER COULDN'T HAVE DONE THE DAMAGE EITHER RIGHT! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!

No matter when or how long it might be when I return to Firestone to get my cars repaired the guys (sad to see know women) but the guys are always understandable and patient. They listen and take the time to help explain what they've done on the car and also recommend whats needed.

Was towed here on th advice of aaa tow driver after almost getting in serious car wreck. Spent thousands at ansonia meineke never solving squealing under hood and steering locking up while driving. Firestone not only solved the problem the same day within reason, they were honest and compassionate to a senior woman. I will highly recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you firestone,you are truly a God send!

I Brought in a lifted Jeep for an alignment and asked if they would be able to work on the vehicle since it was lifted. They said yes. When I got the vehicle back it vibrated terribly and felt like it was going to flip over. I brought it back and was told everything was correct which I explained it was not. I had to bring the vehicle to another shop who had to redo the alignment which was wrong and also balanced the tires. Clearly the courtesy check was not performed. My vehicle left the shop in an unsafe condition. I will not be going back here.

I took my car in to switch out the tires, but other issues were brought to my attention. I appreciate Gary letting me know what needed to be done. Gary recommend that I change the control arm on my 10 year old car, and as I had never had it done. I knew he was not trying to up sell. The car drives like a dream now. They are my recommended shop from this point on.

The techs did not perform the tire rotation until told them it was not done, some of my plastic lug nut caps "fell off" while driving it from the garage to the front, my oil was a quart short, a rag was left under my hood, and while I cannot verify this, based on the price I paid and the manager not being aware of the oil difference, they did not use the 507.00 oil spec'ed out for my car.

I asked the sales rep. at the counter about the written warranty for 6 years for the battery since nothing is given in the bill/receipt. He said that it is in the system. It is strange. I don't have any document to prove about 6yrs warranty.

The service I received from the "Firestone" team is outstanding. I was pressed with time juggling kids activities in the evening while I had get my son's tire fixed. I can see how busy the team was based on the number of people waiting in line and in the lobby. Once I explained my situation, the team took take of my problem in an hour. i could not sit in the wait area. A woman was waiting for her car and she had two dogs and i have severe allergies to dander so i waited outside for half an hour. No benches outside. When inside I waited near the register and she walked around with her dogs...they were no longer on the couches. She dropped water everywhere that spilled out of the cups she was holding for her dogs. The floor had puddles and no one cleaned. Perhaps slippery. She walked to wear I was standing on two occasions with her dogs and stood int he area so I needed to go back outside. I would not return and consider sitting on the couches knowing dogs are allowed to sleep there. I highly doubt she has two therapy dogs. I love dogs but cannot be near them/their dander due to risk of a serious safety issue. Service was good otherwise. Would I return...???

The level of professionalism and respect shown to customers was a refreshing experience. All of my service needs were satisfied, all work was performed as promised, delivered in a timely manner and within cost estimate. More importantly, while waiting for my service to be completed I observed the service representatives helping an elderly woman who had no knowledge of automobile maintenance. The Firestone rep (Shawn) listened carefully to the issue, clearly explained the options indicating that the most expensive solution was not necessary to resolve the issues safely. In this day and age it's refreshing to observe an auto repair facility not taking advantage of lack of customer knowledge ... the focus was on real customer satisfaction at reasonable cost. I found this same commitment to customer satisfaction with the rep that provided my service. Well done Firestone!!

I have used this Firestone in Milford for many years. I have purchased tires, emissions, etc for personal vehicles as well as business vehicles. This past Friday I needed two tires on my car. I was told 1 hr 15 min. 2.25 hrs later I walked outside to the bay to see the tires finally being installed. One of the mechanics ask if they could help me and I said I was just waiting for my car pointing to it. He went over to the guy taking of the old tires and putting the new ones on, came back to me and said one of the rims was badly bent and if put it on the front as I asked, there would be a vibration. I said well maybe we should put the rim on the back tire. That would cost more because they would have to change rims. Due to time I said put it on the front. Driving away there was a horrible vibration. When I got home I decided to change the tire/rim to the back because it was impossible to drive with it in front. When I took the tire off I could clearly see the damage to the rim. Even with the rim in back the vibration in the car now present, was never there before. I had three different mechanics look at the rim and they all said the damage was definitely from the machine used to remove the old tire and install the new one. BTW the car had been worked on 3 days prior, with this rim removed. At that time there was no evidence of damage. Today I went back to the store, ask the gentlemen in the front to step outside as I did not want to have the conversation in front of customers. I told him the vibration, even with the rim on the back, was so bad that the rear view mirror vibrated, which never happened before. All I got was that there was no way they could have done the damage. Being in business for myself, when someone is so quick to deny without even considering the possibility of it being caused by the tire exchange on the rim, most always means guilt. The force to cause that extensive damage to the rim would most certainly have at least caused the tire to go flat if it happened as they explained. The pounds per square inch applied by the machine used to remove and install tires on the rim far exceeds the force needed to cause this damage. I am the only driver of the car so I certainly would remember something like that. Logically if they saw the rim was bent, would they not have come and told me with the old tire still on to show it was there before they touched it? I then was told that putting the new tire on would accentuate the bend increasing the vibration. A new tire has more rubber, which is more pliable. This would actually have the reverse affect and absorb more of the abnormality decreasing the vibration. Honestly there was NO vibration before having these new tires installed. I gave them the chance to prove to me that it could not happen in their shop and all I got was, could of, should of, would of. A new rim is $100.00. They could have kept a loyal 5+ year customer who has spent thousands of dollars in their store, by simply stepping up. . Instead they lost one and ended up with a bad review. Caveat Emptor!

I used Firestone in Milford, ct last Saturday for some work and they did a great job. There was a long wait due to how busy they were but the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic that I didn't mind the wait for the service. Will go back.

I was in for an emissions test, and since there was a 45 minute wait, I walked over to the diner to get some breakfast. They called when done, and upon my return, which was immediate, found it parked with all the windows down, even though there was a GPS on the dashboard inside. Not happy with tat. All else fine.

This past January I purchased 4 new tires and replaced my rear breaks. When I got my truck back long after the promise completion time, I drove off and noticed my brakes were scrapping as if they needed to be replaced. I went back the next morning and explained what I was hearing. The Manager had a tech go with me for a ride so he can hear the noise. We didn't even make it out of the parking lot when he heard it. The tech took my truck into the shop and gave it back to me in about an hour. The Manager explained what they did; he explained the new brake pads have metal tabs and they bent them back. I really wanted to question it ....but hey they're the experts. So I went on my way. Last week while driving the truck I noticed that same noise was back. Instead of going back to Firestone I went to a local mechanic. I wanted a second opinion ( I do acknowledge I didnt give Firestone the chance to inspect my vehicle, at this point I had no hope in them) . The mechanic inspected the rear brakes and acknowledge the rear rotors were not turned and for new pads they were wearing unevenly. The mechanic said he knows for sure Firestone didn't turn the rotors. I was so upset and disappointed with a national automotive chain and was glad I didn't go back.I. You cant trust them. I paid the mechanic a little over three hundred dollars to replace the pads and install new rotors. My truck now stops fine. People please be careful what you get done at Firestone. I wouldnt even let them change my wiper blades.

I arrived at Firestone Milford after a 11 hour trip from Charlotte, NC. I heard a noise coming from my front right wheel and I knew it was the wheel bearing. The Salesperson confirmed this. First I want to stress that I explained to him that I have little money and my wife and I are buying house on this trip. They took the car for a test drive and confirmed and that cost me $89.00. When they further looked at the car on the lift they said I needed by brake pads and both wheel bearings needed to be changed. It is rare that both need to be changed and I requested to see it for my self. He did not let me. When I get the I see was charged for the Brake & rotors. The rotors were a surprise and could have been avoided. The car only has about 65K miles on it and I need to look in records to see if the brakes were changes before. I bought this car from my parents and they handed me a box of repair invoices. If the pads were changed I will point this to Firestone. Again I was tired and I should of spoke up a little more but as I think back on this experience I feel I was taken advantage of for the reason I was not able to see problems on the lift and he changed the rotors which was not necessary. I know auto repair industry is leaning towards this as standard procedure but given that I stressed I am buying a house and had little money I should of asked me. So there you go. Not a pleasant experience and Firestone will not see any of vehicles again.
