Well it started with me ordering tires and having them put on at the 6417 Airport Blvd location everything was great when they finished up the tires they informed me that I had a motor mount broken. Yeah it kinda sucked but you know it is what it is so they gave me a quote on it and told me it was a common thing with the model I have and it was a quick and easy fix 45 minutes to a hour so I went ahead and told them to order the part and I'd be back to have it installed so I went ahead and paid for the tires the motor mount and labor. So I came back to have the part installed I got there right around 4:50 or so and they took my truck on to the back so then I began to wait... It was a little after 6 when one of the guys walks in and asked me "which engine mount was it that was actually broken" so at that time I realized they haven't even started on my vehicle yet but.. still not that big of a deal because they did tell me they where a little short handed and it only a 45 to a hour job so I'm still patiently waiting... Then about 20 minutes later the guy behind the counter asked me if I could leave the truck with them over night and they would have it done the next day but I can't because I work 7 days a week I can't just go without a vehicle and I can't miss work so I told him I'd wait till it was done. So he goes back out into the shop and talks with the guys and comes back and tells me they are both refusing to work on my vehicle so now I have been here for 2 hours and they have not done a thing to my truck and the guy behind the counter says "I don't know why he said it was going to be 45 minutes to a hour because it's at least a two hour job.... If its a 2 hour job dont wait till to tell me that you don't have the time to do it or that your guys are refusing to do it after I've been there for 2 hours and yes he said "they are refusing to work on my truck" so at this time I tell him I'm going to need him to completely refund my money for wasting my time and I'd be back the next day to have it installed. So I asked him if I show up tomorrow at the same time which ended up at 4:45 would they be able to get the job done and he said yes it would be done. So I get there this afternoon at 4:45 and they start right away Im back to waiting very patiently because at this time I'm trying to be a adult and not lose it but I'm a little aggravated. But then one of the guys comes to me around 6:45 and tells me to come to the shop then informs me they ordered the wrong part so there goes another 2 more hours of my life I'll never get back.. meanwhile my truck is taken apart so I tell the guy that I've got to be at work in the morning I can't miss then he tells me that they are going to get me a rental set up that all I had to do is get a ride over there and have a 50 dollar deposit. At this point I'm not even mad anymore I just want it to be over so I never have to come back but I can't because I still have to depend on These guys to put my truck back together right. So the guy sets the rental up gives me the info I needed and tells me there is a car there waiting for me so I have my wife come up there and get me to take me to the airport where the rental place is. So we go up there I give them the info I was given and the guy says that it won't work because the information he put in was wrong that they couldn't except it because they are a airport. Then tells me that it's going to be at least another hour before they can even get me in a vehicle and says that I'll have to come out of pocket 200 for a deposit then something like 70 something for the one day rental by this time it's already closed to 8 and remind you I work 7 days a week I get up every day at 4:30 am I don't want to wait around another hour and that's not guaranteeing that they'll actually get a vehicle. And I really don't want to come out of pocket 300 dollars for the rental nor would I want to have to deal with Firestone about getting reimbursed. Frankly I don't want to deal with them anymore so I decided to tell my wife she was going to just have to cancel all of her plans so I could take her vehicle to work so now it's no longer a inconvenience for me but also my pregnant wife so yes I'm very displeased with this place. This 45 minute to a hour job has turned into a 3 day job. Yeah 3 days and don't forget those guy literally told me they where refusing to work on my truck... Thats crazy and outrageous If I want to contact me that's fine but I'm definitely not happy at all but they said the are supposed to have the part in tomorrow and have it installed but I guess we'll see Keelin Crabtree 251-366-8367

Honesty on a level hard to find in today's world. Check engine indication came on, I read the code and it indicated a bad O2 sensor. Took the vehicle 2008 Volvo XC90 in to have the sensor replaced. To my supersize the technician found a loose connection. He repaired it and I was only charged for the diagnostic scan to determine the O2 sensor at fault. I will be back and defiantly recommend you to friends and family. Thanks for exceptional service

I had two appointments two days concurrently before the actual appointment took place that I had to cancel. The representatives were very helpful in helping me to cancel and reschedule both times. Also I was given the best time to arrive for my oil change in order to avoid excessive wait periods. As promised I was in and out for my oil change in about an 1 1/2 hours. Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also I was NOT taken advantage of due to the fact that I am a woman!

I have been buying tires and service at this location for many years. It is my go-to auto service store. The staff is always attentive and friendly and manages to take care of my auto problems in a timely fashion. The only place I buy tires.

Great customer service. Great at keeping me updated on the work being done on my car. Eddie makes sure everything possible has been done to take care of every repair. Eddie and Walter have been very patient to explain what repairs are needed and what can be repaired. Eddie is very helpful when I have a limited budget for repairs. I don't feel pressured in fact I am confident that I'm getting the most for my money. Thanks guys!

This was my first visit to a Firestone in Mobile and all of the people so nice! They worked together to get my battery changed quickly and give me an estimate for a rather obscure fix to my tailgate lock issue. I will definitely take my Blazer back for more service.

I've learned over the years, it's best to stick with one place,for what they specialize in.Firestone, has all my information, on my tires, oil changes,alignment, etc...If you have a vehicle you plan to keep, I would recommend any lifetime services they may offer, such as their alignments. This has saved me money already.The Airport and Hillcrest store is, my store,they have friendly, knowledgeable people to answer your questions, and assist you.No, high pressure sales people here.I had dealt with that ,at other stores, and did not like being treated that way.That's when I tried Firestone, and I'm still there.If you're looking for great service, even after the sale, I highly recommend, the store I use ,Airport and Hillcrest Firestone. Store Manager Mike and Assistant Manager Eddie really listened as I recounted two different bad Customer Service experiences I'd had recently when trying to get info for repairs and schedule an appointment for service. Not only did they apologize repeatedly but reflected it on my Service invoice. I was very pleased at the sizable discounts extended. They went all out to remind me that I am a valued customer, they appreciate my business and customer satisfaction is their first priority. Went to this Firestone to get my car checked for an oil leak and alignment. The manager would not check the car. He just opened the hood and checked to see that the motor was cleaned. He never check the car. I also needed an alignment. I paid for a lifetime and they would not do it. They only asked questions and then tried to make me pay for rotors. They would not check the brakes but just told me I needed rotors. When I asked them to check the brakes to make sure it was the rotors, they tried to charge me.

I used them to get my oil checked and an alignment, which I paid for the lifetime. They did not do the alignment, nor did they check the car to see if it was out of alignment. All they did was ask questions. Don't use them.

I recently moved to neighborhood after a divorce and my car was overheating on a holiday weekend (of course!) Not knowing where to get my car checked (and hearing stories from women how they get ripped off on car repairs ) I found myself searching nearby places for estimates then repair. The first place only had one customer so they checked my car and gave me estimate. I then drove to Firestone which was packed and also charged for estimate but I still decided to have them look at my car because even though they charged to check I also knew I was also looking for a place I could trust for future car repairs. I also thought if all those people were waiting maybe they knew it was indeed a good repair/tire place. Brad the manager and another gentlemen both helped me and were very patient with all my questions (even though they were busy to the point of standing room only!) I decided to go back home to wait for estimate call since there were no seats vacant inside or outside and got that call after awhile which again they were very patient with my questions and I gave them go ahead to fix. When I went to pick up my car I was pleasantly surprised that not only was it fixed but he showed me the part that was damaged and also gave me a print out of things they had found that would need my attention in the future.Thanks to the guys at Firestone they made a single women feel safe on the road and put my trust issues to rest. Now I have a new home and a new place to take my car to start my new life. I will be recommending this Firestone to all my friends .

The staff at Firestone were fantastic. They seemed to really care about each of their customer's needs individually. The technicians explained to me what services were being performed on my vehicle and what I needed to have done in the near future. They staff was so patient and caring. I was surprised to see this type of care being taken with each of their customers. This is something you don't see often nowadays. It was a refreshing experience and I will definitely return for my car care needs.

Today this location of Firestone was busier than it usually is. Despite this, the employee who worked behind the counter who dealt with me during my entire visit remained helpful, attentive, and pleasant. I was given a discount on my battery replacement without having to ask. I had purchased the battery which now needed to be replaced at this location. The computer may have notified the employee that the battery had gone bad much sooner than ordinarily expected, and that I was entitled to 100% discount. I only had to pay $15.00 labor for having the new battery installed, nothing for the battery itself.

I came to Firestone for the first time after someone told me I could get my tires rotated for free since they are Bridgestone---and I did! I also needed an oil change---these guys were very professional and fast. I came in on a Saturday, sat in the waiting room and enjoyed College Gameday!

I own a 2008 Dodge Charger and Firestone has done all the maintenance since day one. Recently had it serviced and wanted to purchase a special on brakes. When I picked up my vehicle that evening I was informed I didn't need brakes at this time. Needless to say I was very much impressed with the fact that they could have installed new brakes, charged me and I would not have been the wiser.

I recently had an issue with my honda and brought it to the airport and Hillcrest facility. Eric replaced a part and the same issue reoccurred 12 days later. Brought it back and after thoroughly researching the issue found that the part itself was defective. It was replaced free of charge and have not had an issue since. Eric was willing to listen to my concerns and even looked at a u tube video I found to diagnose the issue. He is excellent and I will continue to use that firestone in the future as I have for the past several years.

I am, by my own admission, cheap. There are a lot of services that car service providers like to say we "need" - that we really don't need. The dealerships are famous for suggesting services that aren't necessary- at least, not in the time frame they recommend. These guys seem to get this. When they tell me that I don't need a service "yet", but I will probably need it in the future, that's helpful information. It helps me plan, budget for an expense that I otherwise might not think of. I took my car in to get some preventive maintenance on my car, specifically my brakes. Honestly, I know they did the work, because I could tell the difference in my brake pedal resistance. It was a little loose. I asked the guy at the service desk, he got with the tech and they ensured everything was okay, (had found a small bubble they needed to bleed) and got me back on the road. In my mind, it cost more than 2x it should have, but only 40% of what I could have paid if I'd waited until I heard that squeaking sound when the pads wear all the way out. Money well spent.

The location that I usually go to is not close to my house so I decided to try the one off of Airport/Hillcrest. I bought rims and tires from Firestone and I regret it. I was told that my tires were protected for 75,000 miles for anything. With me being a female, that attracted me because I have peace of mind knowing that I was not going to have any unexpected expense with my tires if something happened. After waiting for over 2 hours, I was told that I ran over a piece of metal and I would have to pay full price for a new tire. I got upset and told him that I had a warranty and he said I didn't and to go back to the location that I usually go to. The worker said that he would plug it, but Firestone got sued and was told not to do that anymore. He said that he could see where my usual location took care of me and I can call them. I was furious because they were closing in 10 minutes and I would never make it. It should matter what location I choose, I should always get great service. I will take my business to a better company than this.
