We were promised on arrival to be out in 60-90 minutes (so we wouldn't leave) then kept us there (because of over scheduling/not issues with my car) for THREE HOURS! THEN because I have an old car with issues I clearly told the man checking me in that the KEY STICKS if you turn it past the point at which the car sticks and it will screw up my starter. "No problem" he said, totally ignoring me. I waited with my car till someone came to get it (30 minutes later) and asked him if he was aware of the key sticking issues? "No!" He wasn't told anything so I explained it to him and he nodded as if listening to me. I get out and he jumps in and proceeds to turn the key ALL THE WAY locking it in and causing my starter to stay engaged making a horrible noise. I tell him AGAIN what the issue is and to PLEASE BE CAREFUL. After three hours of waiting I hear my car come back from a test drive and ONCE AGAIN the car is screaming like a banshee because no one told THE TEST DRIVE GUY about the key issue!! As I drive away and try rolling my windows up THEY DONT WORK because all of the overloading of the electrical system by having the starter engaged while driving had shorted something now I have no left Windows. The BIG problem now is I have a LIFETIME alignment with my other car! What a waste. I'm partners in an auto shop in Tacoma and you can bet we won't be recommending Firestone to anyone. To be totally honest and fair, though, if you have a NEW car you will probably have no issues as my car DID ride like a new car after they finished, I just had to tape my window shut.

Whoever my cashier was he was very rude. When I drop my car off he was rude and when I pick my car up he was rude.

I have my Toyota Cruiser breaks replaced and it was a very disappointing experience. I have made a promise to myself that I will not go back there again but due to a very pressing time constraint, I ended up there again to purchase a new tire for my Pathfinder. I received a four tire replacement quotation from Firestone branch on M L King Jr Way S and I said I'll be back the next day, Sunday. However, as I was driving there on that day, I happen to pass by the Rainier Ave branch. As I have said earlier I am pressed for time so I decided to stop by and see what they can offer, hoping that my previous bad experience with them will not happen again. I was devastatingly wrong! During the installation of my four new tires, I received two calls offering me other services. This is alright as I am a businessman myself and I totally understand the process of up-selling. What I do not like is the fact that they did it twice. Once should be enough, they do not need to push it. The worst experience was when I came back the next Sunday. I informed the staff at the counter that the Tire Pressure Monitor Systems have gone haywire. The reading will sometimes go to 38,38,35,38 or 35,35,33,35 or 36,36,34,34. without even checking anything, I was told that my tire sensor was broken. I told him that it only started happening right after the tires were replaced. He insisted that since my SUV is already 5 years old then it must be broken. He was so sure of it. How can someone be sure of something when he did not even check it. I understand that it can go bad but at least check it first. When, I told him to check it, he brushed me off immediately telling me that they cannot do it, that I have to schedule an appointment. I guess this is how they treat their customer as soon as they have collected the payment for the service. I do not believe that this branch is after repeat customer. They just want to get as much money as they can from their customer and that is it.

My Husband I used them about a month ago and we couldn't be happier, I don't think we will get an oil change from anyone else.

I went to Firestone last week to get my a/c checked and they told me that the refrigerant was good (most common problem and easiest fix) and offered to diagnose the problem for another hefty fee. I left and got a can of charge and a gauge myself and sure enough it was low on refrigerant. They didn't know what they were talking about.

I used them last week to have a tire rotation and oil change. I set up an appointment day of online and took my car in the afternoon. The wait was much shorter than they originally told me, and they replaced my back windshield wiper. Great service.

They charged a different price than they quoted online. Seem to have problems not apparent before work was done.

Went in to get an oil change and have a tire examined, they found a nail in one of the tires and fixed it pretty quickly. I also had them replace a leaking valve cover gasket while they were there, which led to one small problem. The throttle cable has to be disconnected from the valve cover to service it, and it was left looped around my windshield wipers and not re-connected after service was completed, which stopped my windshield wipers from working until I moved it and re-attached it properly.

I've been to this location several times for basic oil changes and was generally satisfied with the service. The last time I was in was also for an oil change. Several hours after leaving the establishment, my check engine light came on. I discovered that the coolant reservoir was completely empty. I refilled it and kept checking for leaks, no leaks. I called them to ask what their process is when checking fluids and if they had drained the fluid and why. The man I spoke to was so rude and didn't even want to answer my questions as to what their process is, when I finally told him why I was asking, he yelled at me and said that there must be a leak and why am I even calling them. It's now been a couple of months and I haven't had to refill the coolant at ALL and there have been zero leaks and the level has remained the same. I am so dissapointed with this place and will NEVER go to ANY firestone for any care, at this point I wouldn't even trust them to put air in the tires. I wish I could put negative stars as my review.

I felt when I dropped off the car they were rushing to get me out of the door. When I returned for my car. They didn't reset my oil change percentage. When I got home I noticed and I called back and they told me to come back tomorrow or to read the manual and attempt it myself. I ended up resetting it manually.

I was leaking oil after I got an oil change. So I could have had a loss of oil, on a long trip. Luckily I was equipped with tools and got underneath my van to tighten it up. I mean really, a mechanic should not have made this mistake. If it had come loose it could have cause major damage to my engine. It's a new truck. Not going back there.
