After a previous unpleasant experience at this location, Chris Comer went above and beyond to try to correct the issue and ensure my satisfaction as a customer. He called me to discuss the problem and did so in a non-defensive way. He went out of his way to make me feel like he valued my business and wanted to repair the situation by offering a refund for the prior services performed as well as offering to run a diagnostic on my car at no cost. When I went in to have my car looked at, Chris took the time to listen to the me and discuss what might be going on with my car. I never felt rushed despite there being quite a few customers in the shop. He kept me informed at every step of the process, and he even brought out the malfunctioning part to show me and explain the issue. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly the service was completed. Overall, Chris made it clear that he wanted to correct this issue and that he valued me as a customer. I appreciate that he genuinely tried to build a rapport and establish a sense of trust between us. I would continue to return to Firestone in order to work with Chris.

I originally came in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and fuel system cleaning, and ended up also getting a coolant flush and two new tires. The tires were not installed correctly the first time because they were both installed on the passenger side instead of both on the rear axle. The service advisor tried to tell me that the mechanic got confused when installing the tires because two of my tires are directional. That excuse is either a complete lie or the mechanic is completely incompetent; he was the one who installed the two new tires so he should know where to put them in the first place, regardless of other directional tires! This is even worse because the shop manager was apparently supervising the only two mechanics working that day, and he didn't catch this mistake. Although the mechanic fixed it at no charge (as you obviously should), there was nothing done for me to compensate me for my wasted time. Secondly, when I was asking the service advisor questions, one of the mechanics joined the conversation to offer information. He was extremely condescending to me throughout the entire conversation. He told me that I probably made my car worse because I had been driving it with the check engine light on for about a week (I have a job and can't drop everything to take my car in immediately). He then proceeded to tell me I was basically wasting gas and money by filling up my car with my check engine light because it was all going to waste. If that is the case, then why did they even supposedly perform the fuel injector cleaning in the first place? Instead of advising me about what is in the best interest of me and my specific car, they performed the service (and suggest additional services only based on mileage and not actually based on inspecting my car according to my service advisor) knowing that this was a waste of my money. The service advisor didn't even acknowledge the fact that my engine light was on because they didn't have time to run a diagnostic anyway. In no way shape or form was any of the employees I encountered looking out for or respecting my interests. I am thoroughly disgusted by the Firestone at Willow Lawn, and this is not the first time I have questioned whether or not the mechanics at this location actually performed the work for which I was billed. I feel disrespected for the way I was talked to by the technician as well as the flagrant lack of respect Firestone employees seem to have for their customers and their cars. My time (and money) has now been wasted twice by the employees at the Willow Lawn Firestone, and no one has attempted to compensate me for this even though the error was completely that of the mechanic's. I feel like I was taken advantage of at this store. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the tire installation and associated fees ($49.96) as it was not done correctly. I will not be returning to Firestone and I will discourage everyone I know from going there because of my experience and wasted money. I will be sharing my experience with other review sites, and I will also be contacting the Bridgestone Retail Operations Customer Retention department.

I purchased two new tires for my vehicle, but the technician installed both of them on my passenger side (instead of both on the rear axle). Clearly, they did not rotate the tires. It makes me hesitant to believe that they actually performed any of the other services I paid for. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I have left this location being unsure if they actually completed the work. I've also had technicians check different things on the multipoint inspection over a short period of time. For example, the first technician will indicate that I need a new brakes. The next time I go in for an oil change, a different technician will indicate that my brakes are fine, even though I didn't have anything done to my brakes since my last visit. Overall, I don't feel I can trust the mechanics maintenance suggestions or to do what they say they'll do.

Scheduled appt. for 10:30 am; ETA 12:00. Work in bay started 12:45 - personally watched tech NOT following work sheet and asked tech to do lease do work per sheet instructions. SLOW worker - @ 1:15 told serice adviser to stop all work on car & not do SAFETY CHECK! Still paid $9.95 -- drove away at 1:22 pm. Will NEVER return - got free oil change voucher as a consolation for those he wait but voucher specifies oil I do no t use! The WORST experience I've had in my 49.5 of driving experience -- by far.

I was in and out in less than an hour, and spent under $40 for an oil change on my Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 Hemi. ;) It was a good day!

I did an online order then called the store 30 minutes before my appointment to advise that I wouls be running late and attemlted to reschedule. The rep Jason stated that I could still come even though I would be late. He never said that there was an issue with the tires that I ordered. So once I arrived the price became a surprise. This also extended my stay at Firestone. When I came in I had one dead sensor on my tires after they completed the work none of my sensors work on my vehicle. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here. The staff ia friendly, but the quality of work is shotty.

We really were impressed with John Z. at this store. He welcomed us as soon as we entered the store, immediately got into our car's problem and within one day we walked out happy and satisfied that we had been treated with courtesy, fairness and competence.

The guys at the west broad location get it done! I tell you what, I've recommended them to a bunch of my family and friends and every time someone I know goes in there they come back happier with their vehicles. They guys at this location never keep you waiting, they are fast, and ALWAYS do exactly what they say they'll do in the time they say they'll do it! I will definitely keep recommending them and will definitely keep giving them five stars. Keep up the good work guys!

I have been going there for a while and has bypassed a couple of Firestones that are much closer to where I live, but the customer service is excellent, the timeliness of services and I trust them.

I came in for a state inspection that was already past due. The technician was able to service my vehicle that same day and include an oil change at an affordable rate all within a short wait before I went to work. The best part about the experience was that I did not have a scheduled appointment however, Firestone provided a quality service option for me with rapid friendly service that will surely cause me to be a repeat customer in the future. This was the best car care service experience I have ever had and I want to thank Firestone for continuing its commitment to the community as a quality vehicle service provider.

My son is a college student at VCU. While in Richmond, he took his car to be serviced at Firestone. The manager was so helpful. He even offered to give my son a rental car while his vehicle was being fixed. I love the way estimates and invoices were sent to me via email. The staff at this location was helpful and courteous.

I've used Firestone and usually go to the one at 2001 Huguenot Rd. Richmond VA. So all Firestones are NOT the same. I'd picked up a nail in the tire and brought it here to repair. Took 30 minutes to get me registered in, as I had a warranty on the new tires from Firestone at Huguenot. When I picked up no charge due to repair warranty. Indicator light was on for low air, came back in and the tech blew me off and was told, it takes time to reset. Funny thing was it was the end of the day and there were several techs available that could have easily gave it a check, as it was loosing air. Got to a location away from home and had dinner to return to my car to have the same tire being totally flat. I will never go to this location again as the last time I'd had work done at this location, I had to bring it back as there were issues. In the end they didn't repair the tire, had the white wall turned in (Expect more from Firestone that specializes in tire work), when all the others were white walls out. To me this location focuses more on getting something out the door, rather than doing the job right. I brought it to the Firestone Huguenot location that couldn't have been nicer and did the job right.

Took vehicle in for new tires, while there thought it would be convenient to have an oil change. After we got the vehicle home noticed oil was leaking, and the oil drain plug wasn't even a hand tight. It might seem like a simple task, but not all people might have the knowledge or tools to handle that situation.

I cannot say enough about David Dole and Sam during my visit. I had caught a nail in my tire and called the store to see if they could possibly look at since it was less than thirty minutes before the store would close. Sam was friendly over the phone and said it would be no problem for them to look at it for me regardless of the close time. Any time there is something wrong with your vehicle it is a scary time, but for a single female it becomes even more scary. These men made me feel important and showed true compassion for me, which being so close to the close time showed that they truly care for their customers. Rather than turning me away, they were willing to fix my tire again regardless of their close time. They stayed an extra hour just for me to be sure that I made my trek home safely. I am over the moon for the service that I was provided, and like I said I cannot say enough good things about David, Sam and the technician that stayed over for me.

I went in because I could see a screw sticking out of my front tire. The gentleman immediately started telling me that all four tires looked terrible and should be replaced. He told me my car would be ready in 90 minutes. After 1 hr and 10 minutes my car still hadn't been touched. After 2 hours my tire had finally been replaced but there was a vague description of some damage done to the tire pressure sensor valve and they tried to sell me another $100 product to fix this. In the end, the gentleman who actually repaired my car seemed confused when I asked how bad the other tires looked. They were in great condition according to him.

I made an appointment to receive the FREE alignment check at 2PM. Once I arrived, they would not honor the coupon/email from their website and I was overcharged $40 compared to the online quote. I also did not receive my car back until after 5PM, even though I was told it would be ready by 4PM at the latest. I am highly disappointed with their lack of concern for my time and money.

Gave my Camry for service. 1. No update was provided until I went in person in the evening. 2. Invoice had only billing information no update on what they did, what was fixed. 3. Justin the name of Memorial Day deal, they will make your bill blow to higher price. So be sure of what you doing. 4. Finally as part of service they offered a dint in my car, when I asked for that, was told to contact manager. So folks be watchful when you choose to go this place also I recommend to take picture of your car body and check out before you leave the service centre.

There has been a few turn overs in staff. They changed my oil last fall and my engine was jerking and acting funny. I thought I had put bad gas in my car. Before I could figure out what it was my car would no longer start. Had iy towned to firestone and they replaced the fuel regulator and then they realized the engine was ni good. They said they could not fix the engine. I have been using Firestone for many years and nothing like this has ever happened. I believe Firestone ruined my engine when they changed my oil. I am now faced with having to pay 2000.00 plus to have my car fixed. or having to buy another car that is not in my bidget tigjt now.

I came by to change my car's tyres+ vehicle inspection. I was annoyed by two things. First, the guy in the reception was really rigid, dry, arrogant, and unpleasant to talk to. Im a foreign student and my English especially with car's terminology is not that good. However, I left my car at Firestone and there was a side lamp needed to be chagerd for the car inspection purposes. I told them that I am a graduate student and my time is so limited. They ordered the part from the dealer but with the wrong color. When I talked to your representative at the disk that I dont want this wrong piece and what can be done to fix it, he wasn't even sorry and when I told him I don't want this wrong-ordered part he said them we have to fail your car. So I was obliged to accept the part to pass the inspection. But I promised myself that I will never come back to Firestone again for the unprofessional work and customer service.
