I just got my vehicle back a couple of hours ago and drove it to work. So far, so good -- and I'm confident it'll stay that way. Recommended by a friend, I gave them a call Saturday morning and talked to "D" about my car's issues. He was very nice to talk to and gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost for the repair. He also gave me an estimated timeline based on the info I gave him. I arranged to drop my vehicle a couple of hours later to be picked up that same afternoon. When I dropped the car, "D" was attending to other customers so I was assisted by "A". "A" then gave me an invoice and asked me to sign. I guess that was standard procedure and I guess he was attending to another customer so it wasn't explained to me why I'm already being invoiced when I just arrived to drop my car. When I asked to clarify, "A" briefly explained that it's my authorization for them to look into my car. Fine. I then sat at their rather small waiting area. Working on the assumption that "D" and I have discussed the issue on the phone, I waited for my name to be called and be given further info/instructions. However, I noticed my car was still sitting right where I parked it since I arrived, which has been a good 45 minutes by then. I waited for a few more minutes before I decided to check and find out. I asked to talk to "D" and then introduced myself as the one whom he spoke with on the phone a few hours ago. I said I'd like to know if I should go ahead plan on hanging around (it was lunch time at this point) or wait if the car would be done soon. I knew it won't be ready because it hasn't moved an inch since I got there -- but I thought I'd give them benefit of the doubt. "D" was very apologetic when he realized the miscommunication on his part. He thought I was dropping the car and won't pick up until the following day (Sunday). He acknowledged that the fault was his so I didn't see the point to argue nor to be aggravated. He promised to give me an answer as soon as I get back from lunch. When I returned to the shop, "D" was very accommodating to explain to me what was going on in my car. The issue I thought was not the real issue at all. It was worse. But "D" was very reassuring that they can take care of it but it would not be ready until the following day (Sunday) around lunch time. "D" was also very helpful explaining my options with estimated costs -- very nice. Unfortunately, "D" was not working on Sunday and that's when things started going not so smoothly... The following day around lunch time, I called to check on the status and "S" told me it will be ready within 1 1/2 hours. I waited for a call back but after 3 hours of not hearing anything back, I called again. At this point "S" told me they're running behind and they were planning to call me to let me know. Fine -- benefit of the doubt. I was then told that they will make sure it gets done before they close that day at 5 PM. So I waited some more. We live 20 minutes from their shop so at 4:40 PM, I called again since no one has called me back. Initially the guy who answered the phone (not "S") didn't know what I was calling for and told me they're closing at 5. I'm not surprised he didn't have a clue because he didn't ask me what vehicle I was calling about. After I told him I've been talking to "S", he looked up their records and found my info. He then told me to come on over since it'll take me a good 20 minutes to get there. My wife dropped me off at the shop around 5 PM and went back home. "S" acted frantic and frustrated (not at me, but the fact that they should've been closed by then) and explained to me what was going on. He said they should get it done shortly. I waited some more and 40 minutes later, I was told it will not get finished that night and will have to work on it the following day. I realized being hostile will not do anyone any good so I kept my calm and asked if they have a loaner car. I need to get home and go to church with the family. I also have to work and my wife will need the vehicle in the morning. "S" said they don't have a loaner so he will just have one of his staff drop me off. The following morning I called and talked to "D". After hearing my version of what happened the day before, he apologized and told me he will look into it and will get back with me. He called me back a couple of hours later and explained to me everything in detail. He apologized again and said he will reduce my invoice for the inconvenience, which I thanked him for. All in all, I will still say my experience was pretty good. The mishap was beyond their control and they kept their cool through it all. I'm sure they would have preferred for things to go a lot more smoothly but they did their best. What I wished they have done better is be proactive with their communication without me having to initiate the follow-up calls. Granted I'm not the only customer they're taking care of, but if they say 1 1/2 hours, I shouldn't have to follow-up 3 hours later after not hearing from anyone. Nor should I need to call before 5 just to know what's the plan. Had I known I will not have the vehicle ready, I could have arranged something instead of finding it out few minutes before they closed. At that point, it was a little too late to call for back up.

Great service at this Rock Hill location. I was assisted by the Store Manager who was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He provided me with information about my vehicle that I did not receive at another brand name service center. I was visiting Rock Hill, but o If I lived in Rcok Hill, I would gladly use this Firestone station.

As a business consultant I saw the need for better communication between the office and the field installer. I discussed my desire with thye office person, however when I spoke with the field install he did not take the time to completly understand the written plan. He was going to install as he thought better. I explained to him what I has previously told the office man. Other than that business issue "communication" the staff did good.

I bought new tires, had a new tie rod installed, and an alignment a few months ago. So around 5000 miles later I bring my truck back for a tire rotation and the alignment is out horribly, actually worse than it worse after replacing the tie rod, and I am carefully about hitting bumps and such to avoid these situations. Needless to say I paid for a 2nd alignment; let's just hope this one last longer than 5000 miles.

i was told by the dealership that I needed tires, brakes and rodars, but they did not have the tires in stock. I called Firestone where I have my lifetime alignment services and they not only had the tires in stock, but they saved me hundreds of dollars over the quoted cost from the dealership. They stand behind their workmanship the same way the dealership claims to. I could be happier! Now I can take my vehicle to one place for rotation, balance and alignment. I highly recommend everyone getting a quote from Fierstone for your auto service needs! To top it all off, the customer service was as good if not better than the money I saved!

I was scheduled for a lifetime alignment check and at 7am, just before I left for the store, Russell called. He said that a car had major problems and could not be removed from the bay in which I was to have my alignment checked. He did not want me inconvenienced by having to wait until the car could be removed from the bay. He suggested I come in later that day. I did and Russell had me in and out in less than an hour. This is exactly the kind of customer service I have come to expect from this Firestone location. They have a complete and total committment to taking care of the customer. I have been in Firestones all across this country from Ohio to Neveda, from Texas to South Carolina and this is the best store I have yet encountered. Please commend Russell. The previous store manager, Kyle Blagg, has left for a new location. I hope that our new store manager continues the outstanding customer service that I have come to expect from this store.

The customer service staff and the guys in the shop are great. As a single female taking my car in for tires, oil changes and repairs I have never felt pressured to accept a service not needed. I admit I do google some things before I go in to make sure they are not telling me something that is not true. You have a great store in Rock Hill ! Your staff takes pride in the work they do and treat customers fairly and respectful!
