This is the 2nd time I have bought one of my cars to this store in Abington. The first was for my Acura TSX: they had an issue with the instrument which performed the emissions test. They called the night before to say it was broken and let me reschedule. The following week, no one called, but the instrument was still broken but was not told until I arrived for my appointment. I decided to take it to a different Firestone store. The 2nd I brought in my Honda CRV. They performed the state emissions/inspections fine, but said there was an issue with the lift to perform an alignment. I was told I should have been contacted when they found out the alignment could not be performed, but was never contacted. I understand things break, but not contacting me and the frequency at which this appears to happen here is a hassle. Both times they had issues finding my reservation and questioned whether I had made one or not.

I was in Abington and luckily, they weren't busy. Got tire plugged. They forgot to check my oil, but I was in a hurry. But now firestone is relentless with the emails. Don't give them your email.

Anthony and the rest of the staff at that this location are awesome! Not only do they fixe my vehicle but as a mother they are even willing to make the lobby a place where kids can sit for hours. LOL

I have been using Firestone for a number of years and I'm overall satisfied with the service they provide. There have been several changes in the store management since I've been going there but some of the managers really need some additional training in customer service. I understand it's a business and the object is to be profitable, but that's not a statement a store manager should ever say to a customer. I mention this in reference to my being a "platinum" rewards member and was in the store for tires. The manager on duty at the time seemed to be irritated when I questioned him about sales promotions for tires because of the current promotion at the time, they were out of stock of the brand for my vehicle. He made no attempt see if he could come up with an alternative deal for me, would not contact other stores to see if they have the tires in stock, simply said, I would have to call other stores myself. My point is, for longtime customer, for rewards members and in general for anyone walking into the store for service, they should be made welcome and store staff should always be looking to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The money will be made if the customer comes back!!! Now don't get me wrong, there are several on the management staff that are very good and for that reason, I only go for service when I know they'll be there. That's not a good sign from a sales standpoint. Being in sales myself as a regional manager, I truly understand the lifetime value of my customers and always doing what I can to help them and resolve their concerns.

I took my car in for a new battery. While there, I also had an oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment and winter service check. All items were completed in a timely manner. During the winter service check, the technician found that my fan belt needed adjustment and he tightened the fan belt. This resulted in an extra charge of $44.00. Since this was a repair that was not originally requested, and resulted in an extra charge, I was surprised that I was not consulted about the fan belt and asked if I wanted to pay to have the belt tightened. I probably would have approved that service, but would have appreciated being asked rather than finding out about the extra cost when I checked out. This is a minor issue, but feel that it should be discussed.

They have taken care of my cars foe a couple of years now . They have fixed and inspected them and kept me on the road.
