I've had the best service at this location. They are friendly, helpful, and so convenient. I drop my car off before work, and pick it up after work. The staff aren't pushy, do a fantastic job, and I've recommended them time and again to friends and co-workers. Thanks for the outstanding service!

Tire rotation and oil change...suggested an alignment and offered a great alignment program for the life of my car (as long as I own)...appreciated their help and professionalism.

Have gone there several times with a couple of different vehicles. They are always good about getting me in and completing the repairs within the time frame they tell me, as well as doing quality work. Reasonable prices as well.

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment for 4:00, to allow them enough time to complete the 45K checkup on my car. I arrived at 4, and Ian, who helped me at the front desk, failed to make eye contact and listen when I was explaining additional items I wanted them to check while in. I sat down in the waiting room, and watched my car sit in the lot for 45 minutes, not entering the shop until 4:45. When I asked when it was going to be done, and why it sat so long, the response I received was, "it's like a doctors office. We're doing the best we can." That they were "waiting for my cabin air filter to arrive. . . he ordered it a little bit ago and it should be there any minute." At 5:30 they came and got me because my car was finished. I then received this: Ian: "You're not going to be happy with me." Me: "Why not?" Ian: "Well, to replace your cabin filter we have to remove a pedal, then it is behind plastic. Because it's so cold the plastic was really brittle, and when we went to undo the clips it acted like it was going to break. We turned the heat up on it trying to warm it, but nothing worked. It really needed to sit in the shop longer to warm up." I finally interjected: "What are you trying to say?!" Ian: "We didn't replace the air filter." So after an hour and a half, sitting 45 minutes after my appointment time, and leaving work early to make this appointment, they didn't complete the slated work. I then asked, "So if it would have gotten in the shop on time, when I made my appointment for 4:00, it would've been warm enough after an hour and a half, yes?" And the response I received was, "Well, perhaps, but there's no way to tell." They also didn't turn off my warning lights for the "Time for Regular Maintenance" and "Fill Washer Fluid". The other work I asked them to look into. . . Never addressed. I will NEVER be returning to this company. Rich, their manager is just as bad with customer service. So if you are someone who appreciates a good experience and customer service is important, don't waste your time. . . They sure don't value it.

I had my oil changed approximately 6 weeks ago. I had a scheduled appointment. The oil change took an hour. The mechanic came out with 3 pages of recommended work that needed to be done. They told me about several things that needed to be fixed. I was aware of most of the fixes except I needed a new serpentine belt. I thought this was strange since I just had a radiator replaced and I was sure my regular mechanic would have informed me of that. I have a 90 Acura Legend. This car does not have a surpentine belt. It has separate belts for each component, air conditioning, water pump etc. Also I know my front tie rod ends need to be replaced. You can definitely hear that. No mention of that issue. Beware of Firestone. These shops have numerous complaints and inexperienced technicians.

I have been a steady customer of the DT Mpls. Firestone Service Center since 1987. For most of that time, I have been exceedingly pleased with the service that they provided on my vehicles. However, during the last five years I have had a series of disappointing incidents when having my vehicles serviced there. These incidents include technical failings (e.g. four visits to finally resolve a cooling system issue) and a lack of attention to simple details (e.g. leaving the oil filler cap off of the engine after an oil change). On each of two recent visits, I requested that a parking lamp bulb be replaced. (Different bulbs on different visits.) When I picked up my car after the first visit, I asked whether all the work, including the bulb replacement, had been completed. The answer was, "Yes." I started up the car and discovered that the bulb had not been replaced, although I was charged for the replacement. The service manager had the bulb replaced when I brought this omission to his attention. On my most recent visit, I requested another bulb replacement. This time, the replacement was made. However, when I looked under the hood, I noticed that the weather cover on the back of the bulb housing had not been put back in place. I found the cover lying behind the light housing and snapped it back in place, noting that the technician had broken off one of the fastening ears on the plastic cover. I can forgive the broken ear, but I have difficulty forgiving the fact that the cover had not been put back in place. The frequency of these issues is now running at about 40-50%, meaning that I experience a problem on about every other service visit. Management has been very apologetic about these problems, but ineffective at proactively avoiding their occurrence. I am extremely disappointed by this continued sloppy performance, and frustrated that if cannot by corrected. Maybe it's time to find a new service provider for my automotive maintenance needs.

I purchased life-time alignment and a set of all season tires last fall. The change in handling of my Mazda 5 was amazing. This little light car needs all the help it can get on the ice and the tires made all the difference.
