The guard-'devil dog' they have working the front counter is a little 'bold'-we'll just call it. ;) , but does good work. If they don't get it right the first time, they go out of their way to make sure there isn't a third time. Good bunch of guys. 'Almost' know as much as me. (I'm a 20 year UTI trained ASE master tech) Bottom line, don't go to the fairview location. Tim is clueless, old, and past his time being sent out to pasture. He just likes to argue and doesn't like being told what to do. so avoid fairview. AND GO TO BROADWAY!! -cheers

I was rather busy the day I came to Firestone, but they helped me as soon as I walked in and took care of my flat tire in no time. I was back on the road before I knew it. What made it even better is that these guys listened to me when I was explaining my issues. They didn't tack on any extra fees or try to sell me anything extra. I was in a bind and they kept that in mind!

Our pickup brakes failed. The Firestone crew was genuinely concerned, made a fair diagnosis of a problem without easy answers. Solved the issue the first time, and we are driving happy today!

I needed 2 rear tires of a slightly larger diameter (speedo not reading correctly) and they found the right size (speedo reading correctly now) I've been a Firestone customer since about 1985. I've had 2 classic Mustangs, a '66 and a '67, and the Firestone on Broadway in Boise, ID has been great at finding parts to keep them going and maintained (from getting a power steering hose made to finding a particular brake line connection) I've been totally satisfied.

The representative helped me comparing between the 2 tires and finally gave the honest opinion to choose the correct Tire for my car. He also worked on providing me the discount that was mentioned on the qoute. While the tire replacement was going on, they checked the brake pads, the brake fluid and the car battery condition. This was really some value added service provided to me and everything was done in front of my eyes. The representative explained me and answered all the questions related to wheel alignment and helped me taking the call whether to choose life time or single time. Over all, it was much more that what I expected. Thanks to all the members of fire stone who worked on my car and helped me out.

Took my daughters Audi in to have the CV axle replaced. Left it for the day. They order the wrong one. Took it back a second time and they order the wrong one again. Gave me the option to order the part my self and they would install at normal shop rate. I Ordered the part, made an appointment.Got a very rude and hostile call back a few hours later telling me that they would never agree to install part that they do not sell. Suggested that i was making everything up I take it some where else. Geeze! . Been a loyal customer for several years. To bad they made it personal. Big mistake in business! Life goes on!

The work I needed was completed promptly and well. But when my car didn't start, the techs took the initiative to take my starter out and then call me to ask why it didn't start, or if I had had any past problems. Upon my return to Firestone, I was invited to the side of my vehicle to watch the tech attempting to start my car with the starter unplugged and the power lead completely disconnected (the power wire mounts underneath the head of a bolt that holds the starter to the engine). I had to point them out to him, and when everything was reconnected, the car started. Yes, the starter had given me a moments' grief on two occasions, this being the third. But, should the techs take the liberty of pulling my starter without first having my permission? Should the techs have the skills to reconnect the things they disconnect? Should the tech need to have me, the customer, point out to him in front of two other employees that he did not reconnect the only two leads from the starter? All good questions. This was the third time in four visits that something has been wrong at Firestone (granted, the first two were in Oregon locations, not Boise). My next question is, should I be a Firestone customer at all? If it weren't for that lifetime alignment...

I was so thankful for the great service and information I received. After checking quite a few other tire stores I was pretty discouraged with the dollar amount and how I had to ask Alot of questions without the competitors being very forthcoming. It was so nice to walk into Firestone. They were very personal and helpful. Gave me a lot of information without me having to pry and ask a bunch of questions. They also looked to find me the best deal and if there were any discounts I qualified for. The manager even took time to drive me back to work and they called when the job was done. Thank you!

I recently scheduled an oil change on line. I had a fantastic experience doingtion it this way. I received a confirmation email and then a reminder email of the appointment. Everything went well and I recommend this for everyone to try.

I had to have my truck serviced after repair at the Firestone station in Boise. The manager said I would hear from the Firestone Claims department but, I never did. So, now I have to go through making a claim on my own. I'm a long time customer and am very disappointed in; one, the service I got on my truck two, the follow up I have not gotten with the store manager

I enjoy taking my car in because they remember me and are so nice. However, a little more attention to detail is needed by the guys that work on the cars. Over filling cars with oil and bad alignment jobs are a few issues I have ran into. I do bring these items up with management and they do respond and make it better. I however would like to see it never happen.

I had some brake work done on my old 1988 Buick a few months back. With an older car so many places insist on a laundry list of items that require immediate attention. Of course there are needs - its OLD! But the crew at Firestone understood when I explained that MY needs were to have the old vehicle safely continue down the road. Not only did I feel the service was exceptional, I didn't feel taken advantage of once the work was finished. They set me up on an affordable payment plan and took the time necessary to answer my questions. I had a second positive experience from the customer service department after my second payment. When I set up my auto-bill account with my new bank and there was a glitch and my second payment was returned. I called immediately to explain what had happened, and that the payment went out again. It was important that I avoid any late charges. They assessed the situation, politely explained their policies, and helped me through the situation. I am writing to let you know how pleased with my Firestone team - both in the field and in the accounting offices. Thank you!

I went to the store wanting new tires and wheels for my brand new truck, the stock ones just didn't cut it. I had questions about road noise, size, and durability. The manager was very knowledgeable and helped me achieve exactly what I was after and kept it within my budget.
