I went to have a number of things done, out of which the only thing they could do was change my oil and they charged me $1000. Driving home my car broke down.

I was very impressed with all of the front office employees including Courtney, Dan, and Luana. Even though they were completely booked that day they were able to squeeze me in so I could use a coupon that expired that day, and also get my safety check. Exceptional service and friendly staff

Bringing my car in was fast and easy. My appointment for 1 tire change was at 12 and I asked if possible if it could be done by 3 so I could go to work. I called at 3 to find out the progress because they didn't call and they didn't even look at my car yet. So i let them know that I needed it for work. She called me back about 20 minutes later to let me know that it was done. Went in to pick it up. There were 4 people behind the counter but none of them acknowledged me when I walked in and they had me standing there listening to them talk bad about a previous customer, swearing and all. Finally someone walked over to ring me up. Didn't thank me or go over the invoice with me. She just said to sign. I said thank you and left but no one said anything to me. Never had a bad experience before that day. Very disappointed.

I made a reservation online, and my oil change was complete in about 1/2 an hour. Close in town, took a stroll to the water. Will definitely use again.

Bought 4 new tires from them and had them mounted. At this time I was told that they didn't have time to align them. Made an appointment for 2 days later to have alignment done. After 2 hours the car had not even been taken in the shop! Then 10 minutes later I was told that the alignment couldn't be done as one wheel needed some parts that would have to be ordered on Monday. Then make another appointment to get that done. Really! This is how you treat your customers? And this is the second time I have written this review! It mysteriously disappeared!

Bought 4 news tires from them 2 days ago and had them mounted by them. They didn't have time to align them at that time so made an appointment for 2 o'clock today. 2 hours later, after wandering around, we return to find the car had not even been brought into the shop yet! Apparently, our time is not valuable and appointments mean nothing. and the fact that we had already spent money there meant nothing either! And then it turns out that they can't align the tires today as one wheel had a problem that needed a part that couldn't be ordered until Monday! Waste of our time!

I got 4 brand new tires in September 2014. I was the one to mention, that when I bought the car the owner mentions something about the rack and pinion. Firestone changed tires and suggested rack and pinion(132? $) and an alignment ($80). But the refused to do the alignment without doing rack and pinion first.... I could not afford. So I needed time to save. After some research and speaking to 3 different mechanics, one being my father. I was told that as long the rack is not leaking fluids an alignment should fix the car. So i scheduled an appt for alignment only. My appt was at 12... I promptly dropped off my car. An hour and later firestone calls, They have just gotten to my car, and they told me that I must do the rack and pinion. I returned to pick up the car. and the snotty 2 women who work the front desk, swore up and down that the rack needed done first... and when I mentioned that there is no leaking fluid and 3 different mechanics told me the alignment itself would fix that. Both ladies real quick lost there look of this girl doesn't know what she is talking about. I took my car across the street to Lex Brodies the next day, after also agreeing with no leaking fluids the rack is perfectly fine. they performed the alignment with no problems, and my car required no more work.... EXCEPT. now I need 2 brand new front tires. I held off with alingment because I could not afford to fix right away, because I was refused service, due to the fact that your sales team tried selling me a service I didn't need. I will never never never come back here. And have spread the word to everyone I know about how you guys have treat me, because I am a woman, and they assume I have no clue about cars. I know you will not make this right.

We have 2 of our cars with Firestone. 2 more with Lex Brodies. Both excellent and courteous front office staff. We live in Hawi 96719 and only come to Kona 1 time a week. Our Lex Brodies in Kamuela is definatly easier to get a quicker appointment. I purchased a brand new Mazda 3 mostly come in for lifetime Alignment and am overall satisfied, but still have had issues with uneven wear.I would have liked the actual tech to talk to me about the issues.

I used them two months ago and they send me a notice I need to come in and when the machine broke down the told me they would call me. the lady there called and schedule my appt.

We recently went to the Kailua-Kona service to have new tires installed. One of the new mechanics broke the ABS sensor in our vehicle. We noticed this soon after leaving the center. Went back to talk to the manager and nobody would take responsibility for what had happened, instead tried to alter the written records to point out that the sensor was already broken. Our contention was, that if that was the case, why was that NOT brought to our attention. Nobody could seem to be willing to help us solve the problem, not even when we called the national customer service number. They would promise to call us back within 72 hrs, but never did. As far as I'm concerned Firestone lost a loyal customer. For years, we used to take our vehicles to be serviced in California, but have never experienced the bad customer care that we received at the Kailua-Kona center. Next time I need tires or service, you can be sure we will NOT be spending our money with Firestone.
