Tim Hurst aka "Gunny" is the most Personable, Fun, Knowledgeable, and Dedicated Professional that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He oversees his team of terrific Service Professionals as you would expect him too. He gives it to you straight and will bend over backward to ensure the complete satisfaction of all of his customers. He treats everyone with equal respect and attention to detail. He expects the same from his team, and they do not disappoint. I drive from Ocala to Tampa for the single purpose of having Gunny and his team do the work on my Mitsubishi Endeavor, and the Mitsubishi dealership is 10 minutes from my house. My tire was splitting and I needed new tires quick. Alex was very helpful and able to give me a very fair price. He was able to put the new tires on the same day and it only took two hours. I am very greatful for Firestone helping me out with such short notice.

I took my vehicle in to them about a month ago and was very satisfied with the quality of service and the willingness of the staff to help me. I called another Firestone location and told them what I needed (since I new exactly what was wrong) but they wouldn't even give me a quote over the phone and required me to bringing the vehicle in. Needless to say, I didn't use their service.

I have taken several vehicles to this Firestone for service. All my services were either alignments or tire replacements. If you are in a hurry, this store is not the one for you. It operates more of the premise that you will be at work all day. If you desire a quick in and out fix, chose another location. They are quite courteous, but they do not keep you informed of the status of your vehicle. You have to contact them for status updates. Constant involvement on your part will not expedite your service repairs. When the repairs are completed, I have never had to return my vehicle for a redo.

I drove 64 miles round trip to buy tires and get brakes checked. It was mid-afternoon, and they said they MIGHT not have it finished, but if I desired, I could come back at 0700 the following day and be first in line, with it taking 30 minutes or so for the tires, longer if brakes needed work. I arrive at 0656, and signed the order. I asked if they had rotors and pads for the brakes if needed, and was told they had them in stock. At 0830 I asked about my car, and was told that they would get to it "shortly." So much for the "first in line" and 30 minutes. I asked again at 1000 or so, was told that they had to wait for a car that was on the lift to check my alignment. (First in Line?????) I went outside, and saw my car on jacks without tires, and was told that it needed new rotors, but they had them, so I told them to put new rotors on. At 1100 I asked another "manager" about my car, and was told that they didn't have the rotors, but would have to get them. I finally got my car five hours after arrival, with 5 or 10 cars going out before mine. When I got home, I discovered that they had failed to properly synchronize the TPMS -- the left and right side were backwards. So I spent over an hour proving this by lowering pressure in each tire, waiting awhile, and then checking the monitor. I then had to spend about another hour checking the owner's manual, going through the TPMS synchronizing procedure, and then resetting the tires to proper pressure with a tiny D.C. air compressor, and they failed to even try to set the correct tire pressure to the factory recommended. As I drove through heavy traffic, I discovered that the tire pressure was 39, 37, 37, 36. When I got home, I verified that each was within one pound of accuracy, with the recommended tire pressure being 30, as posted on the door frame. The tires seem to be okay, finally, but the brakes are still a little jerky. FAIR SERVICE? That may be an exaggeration.

I get all my maintenance done here and have never had a problem. Recently bought 4 tires and had a full tune-up (a few tens of thousands miles over-due, my bad), oil change, alignment. got the car back a lot sooner than expected, around 2 hours. The manager (Gunny) always recognizes me and is always friendly, as friendly as an old Marine can be anyways.

Awesome customer service!! I used the Firestone on MacDill about 2 years ago and vowed that I would never return. I felt at that time that I was being bamboozled. This recent visit was very comfortable and respectful for me. I was very pleased and will return again.

I was not happy with my experience on 4-6-15. The manager from the store located on MacDill AFB called me to resolve the issue. I am satisfied with the results of our conversation.

I came in for tires. Was told I needed a new water pump (to the tune of $500 after they tacked on a radiator flush and thermostat) because it was "leaking". The water pump had been replaced less than six months ago. The "leaking" was condensation from the AC unit. I also needed rear brakes, which they wanted to charge $300 to do. I had them done off base for $150. I would recommend them for tires ONLY. Don't trust anything they say about your vehicle.

Three trips to Firestone, 3 disappointments - never again. Trip #1, my wife took her car to fix an A/C problem - not blowing cold air - Firestone jammed open a vent under the dash with cardboard - cost mucho $$$. Winter came, and there was no heat - had to take to the dealer to fix their rip-off. Trip #2, sent my son in to buy 2-tires, Firestone suckered him in to $22/tire for road hazard and charged for new tire pressure sensors (the car doesn't have a tire pressure system). Trip #3, one of the new tires leaked, I wanted 2 new tires, and an alignment. Firestone installed the new tires, tried, but failed on the alignment, and forgot to fix the leak. Now the car makes clunking noises when I turn the wheel. Three strikes and I'm out, NEVER again!!!!!!!!!

Brought in Volkswagen CC to fix a leak and they told me agter having the car for 24 hour that they dont whete the leak is coming from. The advice to take the car to yhe Volkswagen dealer to have it repair. I though that if you are ACE certified that you can fix any car. Wait my time. Very dissapointed

Had them do a puncture repair on a tire. They neglected to tell me they incorrectly mounted it on the tire removal machine and it flew off. I only noticed because I had carried it in and out--I noticed a two inch gouge in the inside of the aluminum wheel. They weren't even apologetic or offered to compensate me for the damage. In addition, the rebalance job on that tire was poor. Only recommend taking your car here to be worked on as a last resort.

Thanks to Cosmo and Tim for helping me out. No nonsense, honest assessment of the repairs I needed on my vehicle. They saved me about $100 and I really, really appreciate them both. That's why I keep going back.

I brought my vehicle in to have a tire patched. It was brought it first thing in the morning and I was told I have one job ahead of me and it should only take a couple hours. Well, after checking a few times during the day, it wasn't finished and ready to be picked back up until 4pm. The tire was patched though and I haven't had any issues so far.
