I called for appointment to replace a blown tire and got the time I requested. The meritt island location is within walking distance to the mall so it is convenient to do some shopping while the work was done on car. when I can to get car the rep had upgraded the tire since it was a better match to the Michelin already on car and adjusted the price to the quote I had. A nice surprise. I had gotten a full set of tire the previous week for my other car at a Firestone dealer. Their consideration for customers needs and finances make me come back for tires and other auto services.

I was down in florida on vacation, and then my civic message popped up saying I needed an oil change, and firestone was one of the few who would do a full synthetic oil change. I had no problems. Vehicle was done when promised. I would have my oil changed there again.

It was my second visit to this store. The good thing was they did accept my car without an appointment. The oil change took about 1 hour, the same time as the first visit when I made the appointment. Can not say nothing particularly good or bad about the customer service. They just changed the oil. Didn't say anything. Gave written suggestions. That's all. Cannot complain about the mechanical part - the car is running well. So far.

I can honestly say the workers at this Firestone were very helpful. I'm in Texas and I needed to get my mom's car fix in Florida and they made everything so easy. Mark was the man way that I worked with and he was great!!!!

I brought my truck here and got what I thought was a great deal on frontend work, tires and alignment so I brought my wifes jeep here for tires with a coupon for buy 3 and get one free still paying in the end what it seemed like it would be for 4 tires anyway. Maybe I was upsold since I was told they didn't have the exact tires for the jeep but could put on a little taller tire that still fit the vehicle so I said ok since I was basically already committed. When the tire installation was complete they moved the vehicle over to the 'alignment check'. Keep in mind the old tires showed no abnormal wear patterns and the vehicle tracked fine on the road. I always watch everything and I was standing outside in position to see the alignment setup and computer screen. After everything was setup and the mechanic pressed 'enter' all areas popped green and in spec; the mechanic quickly moved from the front passenger side of the vehicle to the driver's side and in doing so quickly pulled the driver's side front tire causing two alignment check items on the computer screen to go from green to red and he immediately hit 'print' and all of sudden he's heading my way, followed by the store manager, asking me 'what did I hit?' at the same time showing me the red out of tolerance conditions indicating a Toe problem, all the while in the background the store manager is saying to me 'this a no brainer since you just got new tires'. I declined the extra cost and the alignment at the time and so far the vehicle tracks fine and the tires show no wear pattern. I'm not saying that the shop did anything wrong but it sure seemed like quite the coincidence.

RJ was very nice and expedient, however after returning home and looking at the new tires on my 2008 Corvette, I noticed that when the tires were stretched onto the rims the pry bar used had chipped off the Competition Gray paint on every rim. More care should be taken when dealing with Wide Low Profile tires.

I was part way through the survey when I touched the screen of my pad and . . . ooops . . . next page. . . . .. I was part way through saying how impressed I am with the way the Guys at Merritt Island got me back on the road with new tyres and brakes so efficiently. Well done Guys.

I originally went in for an oil change, knowing in the back of mind I needed new tires, but wasn't sure if I really wanted to fork out the money. When the guy came out to look at my Truck, he noticed tires, and easily talked me into some beefy tires. I'm super glad he did. My truck looks killer. Although I think I need spacers, it rubs in the wheel well somewhere. They called after I had left and told me my struts & shocks were original from factory and should have been changed at 150,000. Yikes. So we did that. The service and customer service along with the quality in work on my truck was absolutely amazing. Super happy I decided to stop in for an oil change. Thanks Firestone!

Women are too often taken advantage of when trying to get their cars serviced, that has NEVER happened at the Merritt Island location. The employees are all extremely respectful and have never recommended things that are not needed.

I came to use Firestone because of a coupon. However, the experience was so unlike any I've encountered before, I moved all my maintenance needs to this store. Besides doing the work I requested, Greg showed me that some of the things I had been told needed doing by the store where I had bought my tires in February was not even close to needing attention. Finding such ethical practices in a facility that does great work is a treat in this day-and-age.

When a service of wheel alignment was requested, the work done was quick. I told the front desk that I would wait for the service during check-in. However, when the service was done, the front desk called my home phone, even though I was in the waiting room without any notice. After waiting for more than an hour and talking to the front desk person, I realized the work was done an half hour earlier. Is it possible to place a notice in the front desk to show what work has been done?

They are kind friendly and always let me know if I need any additional work done. If I can't afford it at the time they let me know the price so that I can come in when I have the money.

Recently at the Merritt Island, Florida store, Managed by Mr. Greg Bohrmann, Scott worked on my car and managed to correct a number of items that were showing up on the computer as well as replacing the battery. I had some issues with my tires, because I bought them there I returned to that location. After checking my vehicle the service rep came over sat down and throughly explained the issues I was facing. The cost was going to be quite high and the rep was able to get us a credit line to help with the cost. After the repairs were completed my vehicle has never handled so well.

The store I have used in Florida has exceptional service. But I have travelled, (ie., to Illinois and Indiana) and the Firestone stores at many locations do NOT have a networked computer system and, thus, no warranty. Absolutely nothing !

The manager currently in charge is very abrasive with customers and employees alike. I heard him be very harsh towards a customer who wrote a check for his car repairs, giving him the 3rd degree over writing a check! Manager was also very short and curt with me when I questioned why the continued shaking in my front end. My entire family has been taking their cars to this Merritt Island Firestone for the past 20 years and this is the worst manager they've ever had. NO people skills whatsoever. Speaks to everyone very derogatory, disrespectful and talks down to everyone. We try to go there when he is not there, so we call first. He is damaging the credibility of what the former manager built and I'm sure has a detrimental effect on morale. After all, this manager sets the tone and establishes the culture of this service center and it's not good. WE've thought frequently about calling the District Mgr. in Orlando to let him know.We only return because Steve does a great job on premium foreign cars and David at the front desk is very helpful.

We use Firestone Complete Auto Care for all of our vehicles. The tires are great, and so are all of the other services we have done. We really appreciate their honesty and the fact that unless the service team finds something wrong during their complementary inspection, they never push to sell additional products or services- they only fix what needs to be fixed.

Was concerned about a starter issue on our car just prior to a trip. However, we only found the concern minutes before Firestone closed for the day. Stopped by to ask advice. The service person said they would check it out despite the imminent closing time. They immediately rectified the problem and we were on our way with peace of mind. A lot of other places would be more concerned about closing for the night instead of the customer. Thanks Firestone.

Does not seem like they go the extra mile for service. They do the job but could be better. Simple things like making sure lug nuts are not so tight you break them off when removing your wheel. Also would be nice if a customer could have the wheels cleaned off when rotating, alignment or new tires. Every time if there is brake dust they leave hand prints all over the wheel. A simple clean off would help make this a nicer service and not over torque lug nuts.
