I used this locations' service to get some winter tires mounted and balanced as well as an all-wheel alignment for my Subaru. Good alignment solid at highway speeds (even after driving over the snowpack after I had to pick her up in a snowstorm ). Great turn around time even though when I dropped the car every single Bay was occupied with a vehicle. I brought winter tires in bags + boxes in the hatch. When I picked the car up they had re-bagged and boxed the summer tires for me -- an awesome touch!

I have used firestone several times since I went through a divorce 8 months ago. My ex always took care of my car so this was a new experience for me. I didn't know what I was doing and they have been great to me.

Always love coming here. Great customer service. All off the managers are great. I live closer to the location on Colfax near Kipling, but I come here for the experience.

I have only used this location once, after visiting my brother in Lakewood. On the way home back to AZ, on Sunday 9/20/15, our battery light came on. After stopping at a local auto parts store, we were told that our alternator was failing. We couldn't drive home this way, and were very concerned. I had to get back to Phoenix by the next day! The auto parts store recommended Firestone, told me they were open today, and gave me the phone number. I called, spoke to a Firestone employee, and told her of my problem. She took down the type of car that we were driving and determined the likely alternator we needed, and had it delivered to the store right away. She asked where I was, gave me general directions, and told me to head over, and that they would have my car fixed by 6 p.m. that day. I found that to be true. However, I also found that the waiting room was comfortable, had the NFL game on, and that I was treated with kindness and respect throughout the whole process. I was offered a Firestone Credit Card, which was very important, since this was an unexpected expense. I mentioned that I was a little worried about our brakes, too. So she had them checked out for us. She adv me that the left side was worse than the right, so I should have them checked once I get home. However, we still had plenty of pad left on both the front and back. I feel that the time that she took to explain the process to us made us feel much more comfortable making the return trip home. I appreciate the time and care she took in making sure we traveled safely home.

Helped me find the vibrating problem in my wheels through three separate visit's, turn out to be a hub centering ring! Cant thank Murray and Michael enough. Would recommend this shop to any and everyone. Thanks Again!

I am so very happy to write this review, Murray Tyler was the most wonderful person to deal with, he listened to all my wants & filled all my needs. I told him what I wanted & he listened, it seems there aren't a lot of people that do this any more. I am so pleased with my tires, I love, love, love my tires. Murray was honest, considerate, efficient & my truck was finished in a very timely matter. I had to wait that day and I know it is hard to have people waiting for their vehicles to be serviced, Murray was exceptional, he was so kind & respectful to each & every person that walked through his door, some people knew him, others did not but the way he made each & ever person feel was very cool to see how wonderful he was to all customers. I have been in customer service all my life and I am her to say, he (Murray) is a rare person, a gem, a very perfect person for Firestones reputation. Had a problem with a check engine light when I left (which I didn't have when I went in) the tech said that it was there at the begining and I left unsatisfied. was callled back by the Manager and he fixed the problem and I left satisfied

I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE even though it is right across the street from my house! Called on a Friday about repairing my hand brake. Guy on phone stated he needed to order the part and told me to come in on the following Monday at 11:30 to have it serviced. He hung up and never got my name or phone number. So, after waiting all weekend, I called on Monday morning to just to check on my appointment since I was a little worried since no one had my name or anything. Well, no one there seemed to know anything about what I was talking about and they figured it was "Clay" who had taken my call on Friday but he was not in until 10:00am so I would have to wait some more. He never called me so I finally called him back at 10:30am to which he said "Oh yeah, I took that call but I didn't get any of your information." Yeah...duh! So, now he tells me that he still doesn't have the part and "didn't know it would be so hard to get." Then he said it would be at least another 2 days. At this point, I was pretty angry because I had waited ALL WEEKEND already when I could have taken it elsewhere and now he's telling me to wait even longer!!! He then asked "Do you still want me to order the part?" I told him that it was supposed to have already been ordered 3 days prior!!! When I asked for a ballpark estimate he refused to provide ANY type of pricing and then stated "we also mark everything up at least 10%" Seriously?!? You tell customers that?!? I told him that through HIS FAULT I had already been waiting 3 days and now plus 2 more and requested some sort of negotiation on the price for the service. To this he laughed and said "Let's quit pretending that you actually came in because you didn't. You're not getting any discounts!" I was absolutely speechless at his arrogant attitude! I told him the only reason I hadn't come in was because I had been proactive myself and called earlier in the morning only to find out that he never did his job in the beginning so why would still bring it in? Then he said "well, if you had actually shown up we might have something to talk about but you didn't." I still can't figure out why he would want a customer to go ahead and show up after finding out via phone that the part wasn't even there! This "Clay" guy is a JOKE! He is running customers off! He told me "I can just cancel this now and maybe you should go somewhere else." I hung on him immediately! I then called another brake service who was VERY friendly and helpful and was able to get me in at 7:00am the next morning. They evaluated the vehicle and located the part the SAME DAY and fixed my vehicle ALL IN ONE DAY. So, it just goes to show that "Clay" at Firestone in Lakewood simply just didn't want to do his job and then proceeding to run customers off! I will drive 20 miles out of the way if I have to but I won't go back there!!! And if you do choose to go there...BE PREPARED TO WAIT A LONG TIME!

I highly suggest that you don't take your car here to get an oil change. Firestone tried chargong me more for a synthetic oil change and they over filled it by 1 quart.

Too much upselling and not enough focus on original service. After the second time I just quit going back. Store on West Colfax had to correct all my issues and did a great job!

Over the past 2 years, we have made Firestone-Lakewood our go to spot for auto care. Getting an appointment is never an issue. They always attend to our vehicles needs with out trying to add on other 'issues'. Price if affordable as well & they have solid customer care. Honest people!
