Firestone sometimes really confuses and frustrates me. I visited Firestone fully for oil change on 1/28/17. The agent said I need shocks and strut service. He said it's not needed right away but recommended for better driving experience. He quoted me 928.17. I took my car on 9/2 for oils change and decided to have shocks and struts done. The agent quoted me a different price of ~1300. I asked him why the price change, he showed me diagram that he he quoted to change only a piece of the screw but when I look the actual invoice and quote the description look so similar. I am concerned if the agent charged me right price and I didn't overpay. I feel something is wrong with service I provided. I will appreciate if someone can review this. I can be reached at 6508922934. This location usually talks customers into signing for service by hearing they will work with the customers but then later they come back with other prices. Please help confirm I was not overcharged.

Took my vehicle in for brakes and oil change on 6/10/2017. Had an early appointment and at 5pm hadn't recieved an update so I had to call and check on it. Picked it up the following morning and after driving a couple of days ABS light came on and brakes started skipping. Took back on 6/13 and they kept for another couple of days mind you I always had to call to check on he status no one ever contacted me they just kept my car as if I had an extra vehicle to get me places. Picked up the vehicle on 6/15 and they said they replaced some hardware. Drove it home and same exact thing happened. Brought it back 6/17 and they kept another few days. Picked up on 6/20 they replaced some wiring but if it continued good luck and I would need to take to the dealership. Mind you all these times I was told there would be no charge and signed invoice saying $0 charge. Then I get a call asking if I had been explained the charges for all the labor. I stated that I would not be paying anything as they still hadn't fixed the problem. I called costumer service 6/20/2017 and that was a nightmare in itself. Was told each time that someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours. I called back 5 times after each 48hrs and on 6/30/2017 requested that I be forwarded to corporate office. I finally got a call back that day and a regiona manager stated that I could bring my vehicle in on 7/1 and it would be fixed. I picked up the vehicle on 7/1 and brakes are good now. The technicians were always pleasant just seemed like they were guessing as to what was wrong and when couldn't figure it out basically said good luck take it to the dealership. I have never experienced such bad costumer service in regards to call backs in my life. If it wasn't for me being so persistent I think I would have had to spend more money to repair what they did wrong. It should have never taken that much time and that many calls to get this take care of. I've been a loyal costumer for years and after this experience I will no longer use Firestone auto care for any service.

I have the lifetime alignment service, so this is my go to place for that. My last 2 visits were a headache. The 1st visit, I made an appointment online. But when I got to the shop, they had no record of my appointment. They basically told me the online appointment option was pointless & I should've called after booking it online. Isn't that the point of doing things online? He then told me I needed to make another appointment & come back another day. Which is such an inconvenience since I had to leave work early & drove all the way across town in rush hour traffic. So for my last visit I called first thing in the morning & scheduled an appointment for that day at 4:30pm. I arrived on time & was then told I needed to reschedule my alignment for another day because they close at 6pm & they need at least 3 hours to do that service. I could not believe they were not going to do the work & had the nerve to have an attitude with me when I said I want my alignment done today at my scheduled time because that's the time that was given to me by one of the employees I spoke to that morning. The employees at that location do not pride themselves in customer service at all. I'd rather pay full price for my alignments then have to deal with people & scheduling like this every time I need that service done.

Overall great service and very professional. Given a very busy Sunday, took the time to call and notify me shortly after I had booked an appointment to notify me that they would not be able to accommodate same day service. Quick response and very professional.

I had my car battery changed. After that, there was problem with the fuse causing my audio system and alarm stop functioning. I came back and they fixed it for me. I am happy with the service.

dropped off SUV for alignment on 3/28. I had told Carlos(manager) having bouncing problem thinking shocks were bad. My son had accidentally left his bass guitar inside the SUV and upon picking the SUV up from Tully Rd. San Jose Firestone site, the bass guitar had disappeared. Carlos(manager) calls me to say Mechanic diagnostic was bad power steering gear box and that shocks are good. Carlos fails to tell me over the phone or when i picked up the SUV later on that day, that passenger rear tire had a nail in it and that mechanic tried to fix it, but failed because the Tully site does not have the right equipment to fix this tire? Unbelievable that this tire shop doesn't have the right equipment to fix a tire.Sounds to me like a conspiracy. A week later my SUV was examined by another mechanic and diagnostic was completely opposite of the Firestone mechanic. He showed me bad/torn rear shocks. Also pointed out that the inner tie rod were torn and Idler link, pitman arms were bad. Other mechanic also reported that he found no damage to the gear box that the Firestone mechanic reported. Never received document from Firestone/ Carlos (manager) upon picking up SUV. Called the next day to report that my sons bass guitar was missing from the SUV and asked about problems diagnosed by Firestone mechanic. Carlos tells me that he will report the missing bass guitar to upper management and get back to me on quote to fix SUV. I'm very disappointed about all of the above problems i had ran into at Tully Rd site. To top it off I'm disabled and the Tully Rd site had blocked off the disabled parking to have a customer appreciation bbq

I called this location to get an alignment using my life-time alignment plan that I purchased several years ago. Initially he said that an appointment was not needed, but then when I mentioned the plan he backtracked and said that I would need an appointment but one was not available for that day, and the next appointment was 3 days later. I agreed and asked for an appointment 5 days later and he said ok, but then hung up. I heard him hang up the phone it was not disconnected on accident. After calling didn't work for an appointment I set one up on the website. I showed up a 30 mins prior to the appointment since I was in the area. I was told that online appointments don't "work" and that I should always call but they will "squeeze" me in. I did receive a confirmation email from the location 30 mins after the schedule time. I asked for an inspection as it has been sometime since I had any repairs on the car. They quoted me $1500 of unnecessary repairs and refused to align the car, claiming I had bad control arms and ball joints. I have had another mechanic check them and they are fine. I have wasted a lot of time with this place and not gotten an alignment which I have already paid for. I am very disappointed with the service I have received or rather the lack of service. I can not recommend this location to anyone.

This review is specifically for the store manager Elaina Rosales and the tech ellias. I found them to be punctual, intelligent, and honest, a pretty rare combination in the auto-shop industry . Although I had scheduled an appointment an was there on time, my oil change took about 3 hours. This is the second time this has happened to me. I thought that by waiting at the location for my car the process would be slightly faster, but I watched my car sit outside while the technicians constantly took multiple coffee breaks and walked in and out of the lobby for conversation. Cars were not serviced in the order in which they came. Disgruntled customers were handled fast and became the priority while the patient customers who were there first continued to wait in silence. Many times I have seen the lobby staff and management team go into the garage and get their hands dirty because their team is not organized and does not manage time wisely. I appreciate them for taking that initiative. If only the team would recognize this ability of ones self discipline to take pride in ones job and take responsibility for the tasks assigned to them as a team.

The Fire Stone has replaced my two brand new tires thee months ago and one of it was exploded while my wife drove on freeway, I went back to talk to Mr. Carlos at the front desk whom stated that he was a manager, I explained the problem and I asked for any discount for replacing its broken tire, he said no, I should take responsibility for it and walked away from me. I have asked him why should I take responsibility while I did not intent to blow up my own tire and I did not know any thing about tire and I did not install it. It was very bad impression and first time in my life. He should know that it was endanger my wife life etc.

Been going to Firestone locations across the Nation for years, some are certainly better than others, but San Jose seems to be one of Firestone's worst. Customer Service, Timelyness, and Tech knowledge are the larges downfalls. Managers change consistently, and the good staff leaves quickly. I true lot wish corporate would send HELP quickly.
