I feel that when a tire is only several months old and needs to be replaced that it seems silly things charge one full price plus warranty for a new tire.

I recently moved here from the East Coast and always loved firestone. This one on the West coast was just as amazing. Raul was great and was very patient with all of my coupons lol. He also pulled up my records from the east coast quickly and our service went by fast even though they were busy. Fixed my car perfectly and answered all of my questions

This is my first time using a repair / service shop. I'm completely unsatisfied with this shop. I am a full time European and domestic auto mechanic. I was out of town visiting my friend and his Jetta needed some maintenance done to the vehicle. So I took his car to Firestone that was a tenth of a mile from his home in North Hollywood. The quality of service done to the car was very poor as I watched the entire service. The car uses an exposed filter element for the oil filter. The mechanic placed the oil filter o-rings and the oil filter element on the ground for assembly. This is extremely hazardous to the components and causes damage due to the filth that is on the ground. He then assemble everything on the ground. He also did not clean the oil filter cap from disassembly. The air filter service was also an issue. It took three of you seasoned mechanics 20 minutes to figure out how to remove the air filter. It takes a total of 4 minutes to remove the air filter housing, hose, and pull the air filter element out. It was a similar story for the assembly... When I received the car back the air filter tube was not installed correctly. It was not even on its location. I had to show the mechanic why it was wrong, and fixed the issue myself with his tools in the parking lot. You charged me extra labor for the synthetic oil for this European service. That is understandable. Although You charge me a quantity of 9 when there's only 6 quarts used. Since the charge is supposed to be per court, I'm going to assume that quantity of 9 is wrong. The oil filter and air filter used are also extremely cheap parts that are way overpriced. Along with the extremely overpriced synthetic oil. I can get Mobil 1 synthetic European oil for $4.70 per quart from WALMART. You charge me $13 per quart for a cheaper grade of European synthetic. The OEM filter made by Mahle is $11 from a local store. You charged me $35 for a much much cheaper air filter, STP. You charged me $10 for the oil filter when the OEM made by MAHLE is $9 from a local store. Where your oil filter would cost about $1. I understand and agree with mark up. But for the low grade parts and the prices you charge. This is not acceptable or respectable. With the cheap parts, the extra time for your mechanics to figure out how to work on a very simple car, the poor quality with the oil change, and poor assembly of the air filter components has made me extremely disappointed and the capabilities of your main bread and butter(the guys who actually work on the cars).

Seriously, I haven't had service like this since I grew up in West Virginia.. This lady cares... She was funny, sweet, friendly, efficient and I even received a follow up call. I honestly want to take her with my company... Ha.. Way to go on hiring this young lady.

I researched my tire options online and when I got to this store was shown something different and way more expensive not happy with my service I contacted the customer service number and was contacted by the store manager who found out what happend and gave me a 37$ discount . My car sounds wits than before and this after driving the car after a week I spent 600$ to have new tires and a not so good sounding car , I'm not happy with this place ,and won't be going back .

While trying to complete a move I suddenly realized I had a flat tire. AAA pointed out the screw in my tire, recommended Firestone and told me where it was located, and true to the time estimate given me by Saul at the North Hollywood Firestone, I had my car back in an hour-and-forty-five minutes at a very affordable price.

I needed to come in for an Uber inspection and the service manager came and was nice and friendly, he took my car in and it was out in less and half hour. They informed me of any needed repairs and it was a clean bill and I was on my way! Thanks Firestone!

Best price I could find for alignment plus they still offer lifetime alignment which is great! I have a BMW and EVERYTHING is expensive there so it was a relief to get a much cheaper quote from Firestone. Thanks!

Ricky L was amazing. I went in, with my hungry and tired 4 and 6 yr olds, after finding a nail in my tire. Not only was Ricky helpful to me, he took the time to speak to my dad over the phone. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us while we waited in the very clean waiting area (they even had toys for the kids to play with!). They serviced my car quickly and we were on our way to lunch in no time. They really made what could have been a real day bummer, very easy to handle! Thank you!

I've been to this Firestone a few times, as it is in my neighborhood. I have been there to put air in my tires and have replaced my 2 front tires there on a couple of different occasions. The last time I visited, I knew I needed a new tire, so I pulled up to the service area. After sitting there for a couple of minutes without being approached, I got out of my car and stood behind the rope at the service area...still no assistance; so I turned off my car and went inside. When inside, I told the 2 guys in there, I needed help, and that no one was helping me. The guy at the standing at the kiosk says to me "Oh, you need air in your tires?" I said "No, I need a new tire". He then proceeded to check out my car and help me, but I was very put off at the fact that I was ignored and I felt I was purposely ignored because I "just needed air in my tire". Shouldn't all customers/potential customers be treated with respect and the same level of importance??? I was then dismayed when I was told that the price of the tire I wanted to buy, which was the EXACT SAME TIRE I had previously bought not too long before was more expensive. The explanation I got (that I was not happy with) was that the prices can change at any given moment, and that there was nothing that could be done about it. He didn't offer me any other choices, or to give me the price I paid for the other tire. I needed the tire to go to work, so I just agreed. I asked they guy how long it would take because I had to go to work, and he said it would take about 40 minutes to change the tire and put on the new windshield wipers I requested. Well, 45 minutes later, I found myself trying to get the guy's attention again to ask about my car. When he finally addressed me again, he advised me that they were just putting my tire back on and that it took longer because I got windshield wipers. I finally left about an hour and 15 minutes after I had arrived there, EXTREMELY disappointed at the service I had received. I have since had other car service needs, and have received coupons over the internet for oil changes and other services that I would normally take advantage of, however, my last experience at the Firestone in North Hollywood has caused me to think twice about going back.

When, I was there last, I spent more than usual.... and spent most of the day there.... but I do take cross country trips, and I do not want to spend a lot of time having service done in another state. when the problem could have been addressed locally, in North Hollywood. I am glad that the service techs point out these problems - AHEAD of time --- saves me time and money down the road, so to speak!.

I've been coming to this store for 20 years - but no more! The repairs couldn't be done on time, so Firestone approved a rental car. During the weekend, they could not contact me (cell problems) to get my OK to do some additional repairs, so they checked my account to be sure I could cover the charges, then did the repairs without my consent. Then, several months later, I got a bill from the car rental company, because Firestone refused to pay. I've now been in touch with customer service, and they have escalated my incident to the corporate office to contact me, but they never have. It seems that my poor experience doesn't matter to Firestone - so I would go somewhere else for car repairs!

I will never go back to Firestone(North Hollywood)! I have taken my vehicle there on three separate occasions to get a simple brake diagnosis and to fix my squeaky brakes. Firestone of North Hollywood not only did not fix my brakes they said there was nothing wrong with them except mere brake dust. After changing my back brakes, cleaning my brake line and cleaning the back brakes and drums twice. My incredibly squeaky brakes not only continued they got worse. This is not the only time North Hollywood (Lankershim/Riverside) Firestone dropped the ball with my vehicle. My car idled roughly and stalled. I took my vehicle to the North Hollywood Firestone, where they missed diagnosed the problem a couple of times and charged me for the work. Eventually the shop found the problem and replaced an ignition switch (which I think was a recall item anyways). After all the above sub-standard work I still went to North Hollywood (Lankershim/Riverside) Firestone to try to fix my wife's car that was idling roughly and stalling. They could not diagnose her vehicle. Instead I was referred to Firestone off of Laurel Canyon in North Hollywood. Guess what? They could not diagnose my vehicle either. Call me a dummy, but I went to the Firestone off of Van Nuys Blvd and spoke with the General Manager of the store ( Isack). I told Isack of the above problems that I encountered. Not only did Isack's shop correctly diagnose my wife's problem with her car the shop fixed it right the first time. ALSO they fixed my incredibly hard to diagnose brakes (Joke) by replacing the drums and fixed it right the first time!!!! If it wasn't for Isack I would of never, never, never have gone back to Firestone EVER! His customer service is amazing and he sought to take responsibility for Firestone as a company and left me feeling like I was really taken care of. I will never go to another Firestone beside the Van Nuys, Ca division. I didn't get back the wasted time and money from the other Firestone's but I did get the confidence back to know that his shop will fix it right the first time. And that is all I've ever wanted from the beginning. Thanks Isack, and to the Van Nuys California Firestone. This is true, Ben

This was my auto shop for 5 years, and I loved the service they always provided. As a single woman, I had a hard time trusting an auto shop to do what was really needed for my car. I always trusted them as they explained the services that needed to be done, and why, and they heard me when I had concerns. The Service History app on my phone has made it super easy for me to go back and check when specific services were performes, which helped me take advantage of warranties the guys at the shop couldn't remember. I always liked the way I was treated here. The only reason I didn't give this shop 5 stars isbecause the Firestone Auto Care shop I go now after I moved from North Hollywood is a bit better, a bit more thorough, so I'm saving the 5 stars for them, but I truly recommend this shop.
